Screams of confusion and fear instantly rang throughout the Jin Clan’s yard as blood splattered onto some of the branch family clansmen who were nearby. Although everyone wanted to leave as soon as possible, they were unable to move due to the pressure that was bounding them.

A youth stood in front of the Jin branch families. His eyes slightly narrowed before he spoke in a cold voice,

“None of you should think about leaving this place alive. As traitors of the Jin Clan, I, representing the Jin Clan, condemns you all to death. And as for enemies of my Jin Clan, I hereby declare war on the Fei clan, Gao clan, and Ting clan. Rest assured that I will not stop until either one of us is completely eliminated!”

Upon hearing Jin Xia’s words, everyone felt their blood go cold. This statement was simply tyrannical! Brutal! Merciless! Everyone was feeling a stifling fear in their heart, especially for the two twins, Jin Rong and Jin Dong.

They felt an uncontrollable fear taking hold of their core. Thinking back to the previous night when they had openly ridiculed Jin Xia in front of the Jin mansion, they felt an immense pang of regret. They still could not quite accept Jin Xia’s newfound strength. It was inconceivable. For the past years, they had always engaged in bitter skirmishes with Jin Xia, but he had never displayed such might before today. Was he purposely hiding his strength, pretending to be a pig to eat the tiger?

But unfortunately, no matter how much the two brothers regret their history, what the world lacks the most are pills that can cure past regrets.

Without speaking any further, Jin Xia moved towards the branch family members.

A dark glow could be seen discretely forming on Jin Xia’s palm. With a wave, an immense dark energy burst out and instantly laid several tens of branch members who were near Jin Xia, to eternal rest. Bloods danced wildly through the air as Jin Xia’s white robe took on a darker shade of red.

Jin Xia waved his left hand this time, as an even greater form of boundless energy spread forth across the branch family crowd. If one were to look closely, one might be able to see that the dark energy was shaped almost like a scythe.

An instant after his initial attack, Jin Xia’s second strike finished off all the branch families

The second attack range this time was simply too wide and powerful. More so, all the members were bounded in a tight space, unable to escape. Every member was quickly wiped out.

Staring at the brief massacre before them, all three clan master felt an uncontrollable fear welling up inside them. The youth in front of them was basically like a human calamity! None of the Jin branch people were spared.

“W-was that an…energy attack?”, Ting Teng stammered as he struggled to maintain his posture under the dreadful aura.

“Th-that can’t be…energy attacks can only be formed when one reaches the Xing profound…”, Gao Dai said as his eyes bulged with disbelief.

“…The Wudan realm trains the mortal body to its limit…the Spiritual Dan realm allows one to suffuse spiritual energy to further strengthen one’s body…and the Xing Profound realm grants cultivators the power to control and use spiritual energy attacks outside…this…this…”, Fei Sheung was continuously muttering under his breath as his eyes grew hazy while looking at the blood drenched Jin Xia.

In the Great Azure Country, only the three realms of cultivation was most well known. As for other levels above the third realm, almost no one knows about them. This goes to further show how weak the Great Azure Country was compared to others…

When the surrounding parties heard the mutters from the three clan masters near them, every person’s face turned ghastly pale.

A youth who is not even twenty was able to reach the Xing Profound realm? This, how was this even possible!

When a person is at the Wudan realm, they are able to control their muscles and surpass the limit of a normal human body. After that, upon reaching the Spiritual Dan realm, one would be able to fuse the World Qi that was nested in their dantian, into their attacks and body, otherwise known as spiritual energy. This enforcement will then greatly boost one’s strength and attacks, giving them a huge edge over someone in a battle!

But once a person steps into the Xing Profound realm, they will gain the ability to manipulate the spiritual energy inside their body and use it to attack externally, providing them with a powerful long range-damage skill.

With each new realm reached, the abilities available for a cultivator increases. This was why as one steps into a higher realm, one could easily crush those below his level. And for a person who is at the Xing Profound realm, they are able to effortlessly deal with hundreds of Wudan practitioners if they so desired.

The three clan masters tried desperately to convince themselves that Jin Xia was only using a trick to indirectly harm those Jin clansmen. Afterall, if they were to believe that Jin Xia had actually reached the Xing Profound realm, then it would truly be the end for them. In fact, if Jin Xia had even reached the 1st stage of Spiritual Dan, they would all be doom. The difference between a realm is akin to a large ocean: it’s enormous.

And what’s more, all three of their strength was only at Wudan 8th stage, like Bao Lei.

*Whoosh!*

Suddenly a white blur flashed briefly on the stage before a figure stepped lightly in front of Ting Teng.

When Jin Xia’s face abruptly appeared before Ting Teng, the latter’s face instantly went pale.

“Y-you…”, Ting Teng stammered, but was unable to muster his words out. He was stricken with fear and panic at the enigmatic youth standing in front of him.

“No need to be so surprised. I told you three old dogs already, once I’m done with over there, I will naturally come rid of you guys as well.” Jin Xia calmly said lazily gestured at the bloody mess behind him.

The three old men’s face quickly flushed a shade paler.

Ting Teng frantically tried to move back, but because of JIn Xia’s aura pressing down on him, he found it exceedingly difficult to move even a step!

“P-please wait, junior! If, if you spare me, I can guarantee anything that you wish of! S-so, plea–”, Ting Teng tried to persuade Jin Xia to spare him. As he was cowardly in nature, when faced with death he was willing to lose some face than his own life. But before he could finish, Jin Xia flicked his sleeve.

A black light shot out and pierced a large hole through Ting Teng’s chest. After piercing through Ting Teng’s chest, the light instantly blew back several of the Ting clansmen standing behind Ting Teng.

Through the hole in Ting Teng’s chest, one could clearly see the Ting people sprawn down on the floor, never to move again.

Ting Teng slowly looked down at the hole in his chest. His mind was still trying to process what happened before he coughed up a mouthful of blood and fell down forward, dead.

*zzt!* *zzt!* *zzt!*

Several black lights sprayed out towards the remaining Ting Clan members, while the other dark energies rocketed in the direction where the Gao and Fei clans were held in place.

Almost instantly, Gao Dai and Fei Sheung’s chest were similarly pierced through by the unstoppable light. And with everyone being immobilized by Jin Xia’s terrifying pressure, they could only await their death as the black lights penetrated them.

Soon, all the people from the Gao clan, the Fei clan, and the Ting clan were killed. None were left standing, as each person had blood gushing forth from the huge gaping hole on their chest.

Dead.

The three major clans who had came gallantly today were all dead! And the disciples who came with their clan masters, people surmised, were most definitely the top batch of their respective clan. But at this moment, not one of those talented juniors were left alive by Jin Xia’s mysterious attacks.

At this point, without the talented juniors and clan masters to guide their clan, the three major clans were now set on the path of decline. And all these was caused by Jin Xia alone, a youth who was not even eighteen years old!

From start to finish, Jin Xia had not moved from his spot when he unleashed his spiritual energy attacks. After seeing that his enemies were all dead, Jin Xia nodded to himself in satisfaction before leaping backwards onto the stage. The pressure that had continuously pressed down upon the crowd of people suddenly vanished without a trace.

With the terrifying pressure gone, everyone breathed a sigh of relief in the crowd.

Facing the audience, Jin Xia spoke in a tranquil tone, as if the massacre that happened a moment ago was normal.

“Today, with the death of Jin Bao Lei and the Jin branch families, there will now only be the main family of the Jin Clan. And from this moment forth, I recommend my father, Jin Liu Dan, to be the patriarch of the Jin Clan…Is there anyone who wants to object?”, saying this, Jin Xia glanced over to his right at the main family of the Jin Clan.

“W-we have no objection!”

An elder stood up from the main family as he voiced his opinion. The main family members looked at the person and all nodded in approval. That person was Elder WeiMo, one of the two elders of the main family. Likewise, with his position within the family, Elder WeiMo’s words represented the main family itself.

“Same here! I-I am in favor of Liu Dan becoming our patriarch.” Another voice rang out. This time, it was from within the crowd.

Elder Shikong, who had initially wanted to leave, had stayed behind when he saw Jin Xia enter the fray. He was curious to see what might happen, given the unique demeanor of the youth he saw.

But when he saw the ruthless and overwhelming nature of Jin Xia, Elder Shikong was quickly shocked speechless. The youth who was standing on the stage was a monster.

Then, when he heard Jin Xia’s proposal, Elder Shikong naturally gave his approval as well. After all, the young man had not only enacted vengeance on the culprit, but the despicable branch families as well.

Moreover, with such an evildoer like Jin Xia leading their family, Elder Shikong had unconsciously began looking at Jin Xia as the head of the family, even though the title was transferred to the youth’s father. Elder WeiMo, who had first spoken out, felt the same way as well.
