Coming late as always there was Qrow, the man that had been missing for quite the time, after all, as an agent of Ozpin, sometimes there were missions that took a long time. Seeing him the little loud kid, jumped towards him, just like always, and letting them see the same scene. But for Silva there was no way it got boring.

After he entered the house, they all surrounded him in order to welcome him, asking a few questions and making a few short talks, time for dinner came, as everyone stopped in order to eat and celebrate End of Year, taking deep breath, Silva realized that this was his fourth year in Remnant and as things continued, his heart had finally found a place to call home, in the past he used to think of this place as the world of RWBY but as thing progressed he realized that it was not like that anymore, for him this was his world.

Finally after the celebration was over, the time both girls were waiting so much came, the time for presents, seeing them so excited, both Tai and Summer, took some small gift boxes towards them, as Yang and Ruby opened them, two scrolls were found inside, for most child of their age, it was around the time they started having one.

In fact Yang had to wait a year more as Tai wanted to gift them, the scroll for both of them at the same time, for Silva, the scroll was a necessity in order to contact Ozpin, and in fact he received one after the incident where he almost lost his life rescuing Yang, Qrow in fact gave them some spending cash as if not caring the fact, they were currently in a villa.

Suddenly Qrow passed him something, looking at him acting so strange, he looked at the thing he had given him, only to stare at him shocked, as he was about to say something, Tai who saw the whole thing took the thing he gave Silva, and threw it directly at Qrow’s face.

“What the hell Tai?” he complained “You idiot look at the thing you gave him”, hearing him Qrow who probably didn’t saw what he took from his jacket, took a look at it, “Crap, wrong thing”, he said as he stared at the porn magazine he took by mistake, putting it back on his jacket this time he took a cylindered metal object.

“This is the thing, Sorry Kid” giving it to Silva, he said a little embarrassed, even he would feel awkward after giving a porn mag to a kid as end year present. Taking a look at the object he asked “What is it?”

“Touch the button at the side and put it the table, it took me a favor from Jim” Hearing him, Silva did as told, once he did a holographic screen and keyboard appeared, “This is?”

“Is a new model of portable computers, they used the technology you been sending them to make it” Seeing it, even though Silva could still ask for one in the future, he was still touched by the action. “Thank you! Old man”

Feeling the change on his tone, Qrow just gave a wry smile and said “I told you not to call me that” while he raised a flask to drink, seeing them like this Tai and Summer just smiled, suddenly Summer took a small gift box for him “This is for you from us, Silva”

“Ehh? Ohh! Thank you, Aunt Summer, Uncle Tai” Taking the small box, he tore the gift envelop with an small smile, after opening the box he saw a silver necklace with the form of a detailed wolf head, what shocked him the most, was that it looked just like Cloud’s Fenrir mark.

Looking at all of this, he couldn’t help but smile at the world’s coincidences, taking a big breath, he felt some small tears well on his eyes, looking around to them, he smiled and gave them a sincere “Thank you!” as his company was starting up, he did not care much about the value, but the feelings behind it.

“That’s great! I was sincerely worried when Yang gave me the design, but it seemed to have turned all right” Summer said to him, listening her, he realized that it was probably an idea that Yang had, as Summer was skilled making weapons, a small thing like this was no problem.

Taking another breath, he then said “Well it’s time for my presents”, right after that he went towards his room, to look for the presents, it was only yesterday in the night, that they came from the company, after all, he challenged the girls in order to distract them, and to have them not look into the house anymore.

Coming down he brought a few boxes with him, and an enveloped bottle of liqueur, he simply passed the bottle towards Qrow. It was like he was not even trying to hide it, “Hey!” Seeing the simplicity of the wrapping, Qrow complained.

“Look at it” that was the only thing that he told Qrow, as he gave two boxes towards the two girls, who immediately opened it. Opening it Ruby screamed through the roof as she looked at the small metallic walking humanoid, it was small as it was a little taller than Silva.

Looking at everyone but Ruby stunned he said “It’s a small version of the new Atlesian Knight”

“Well I say I say a small version, but it combat capabilities are zero, as is not built for battle in any way, is so light that even I can hold it, you can say is a small butler” seeing them still stunned, he explained.

“I understand, but in order to made this… ”Tai said shocked. “Don’t worry, I only exchanged for a special mark the General has been bothering me for some time” Hearing him everyone could only smile wryly and nod. Seeing the present, the little Ruby was so excited that threw herself at Silva giving him a bear hug.

Looking at Ruby present, Yang finished opening hers, to find a compactable bicycle inside, seeing her stunned Silva told her “I know that you like motorcycles Yang, but even if I gave on to you, do you think uncle Tai will let you ride it?”

Yang looked at her dad, and seeing him nod she could only sigh, before Silva stunned her by saying “But do you think, that bicycle is so simple?”, seeing his smile mischievously, she took another look before touching the frame, feeling some small patterns, she gave a big smile before hugging him too.

Looking at them, Tai could imply the meaning of the conversation and sigh, after all he knew that no matter what he did to it, it won’t be putting her at risk. Right after the hug stopped, he took a bone shaped present and gave it to Zwei, making this one bark while moving his tail, he obviously was happy.

Finally he turned towards Tai and Summer, before giving them two small gift boxes, the smallest of all the presents. “This is the only thing, I could think of giving you, I hope you like it”, taking the boxes, they both opened to see it inside, this boxes were light and they were not gift wrapped.

Inside it, two pendants with an incredibly pure crystal dust appeared, the crystal was completely transparent, yet the moment they both took it with their hands, the color started changing Tai’s crystal became yellow, while Summer’s red, right after that a thread of visible aura, floated outside the crystal, touching one another, instantly in the middle of the crystals another color appeared.

This color was the same as the other pendants, so both pendants though in different proportions, both shared the same colors, and both had silver marks around the crystal, as they took it, Summer and Tai could feel how a connection between them was made. While they were amazed, Silva said “This is something special I made for you”

“It has the power to monitor one another, and inside there is powerful protective mark, which will active immediately after a life threatening blow, and when the crystal is broken, it can take the user towards the other one side, this is something that I was able to make, thanks to the atlas researchers” Silva explained.

The moment he did, Tai took a step towards him and gave him a hug, as his shoulder trembled, he knew perfectly the meaning of the present, and why he gave it to them, as Summer status as a dark huntresses was a secret only a few knew of, he knew that as the person who rescued Summer, he could tell that will she wasn’t doing any missions at the moment, it was not like she could stop completely.

The only reason why she stopped so suddenly after the last one, was to protect her life, as Ozpin understood that she was now being targeted, she could only stop in order to draw away the enemy’s eyes. It wasn’t Tai that hugged Silva as right after Summer and the girls did too, even Qrow looked at him with a smile on his face.

Finally everyone leaved him as Tai dried his eyes with his hands, giving Silva a smile, both him and Summer, gave him a big thanks, finally after some time, they started to celebrate once more, before Ruby and Yang fell asleep and Summer had to take them to their room, because Tai and Qrow were to drunk.

A few days after, the four of them had to return to Patch, just like he thought the time for Summer to start going into mission was now coming back, right after putting the girls on bed, Silva could chat with her alone, as she was the only one not drunk.

After drinking the whole bottle of expensive liqueur, Qrow realized that at the bottom of the bottle something similar to the pendant Summer and Tai received was found. Which made him laugh wryly towards Silva as he leaved the house by waving it at his face.

Finally a few weeks after, the sales started, for the population was a surprise out of nowhere a mixed Business appeared in the commercial district, a six story high building with a store at the lower floor, with both Faunus and Humans. Named Silver Fang, this was thanks to Ozpin connections which filled part of the staff with people he could trust.

The few first days, were the emptiest as no person dared to enter the store, it was not after news of the new uniform of Beacon spread out, this new uniforms had to ability of strengthen a person abilities greatly, causing many different warriors to inquire about them.

It was after Ozpin himself released the news that the Silver Fang were the ones responsible for its creation, that the opened store flooded with Huntsmen and Huntresses, after many questions and answers, the staff gave an explanations of the power of markings, and used a certified Atlas Tech document as a backing of his words.

Suddenly the Faunus status soared, as the population heard that the only ones that could create this type of markings were only them, this caused the entire store to be filled with orders, thankfully during the last three months Silva was able to create many different premade markings, the clothing markings at different from other markings, were made by using special metallic threads infused with Faunus aura.

By suturing this threads in a certain form, it wouldn’t restrict the movement at all, and thanks to Atlas technology, they were able to create a sewing machine for the clothing, but for things like shoes or belts they used metallic plating on the shoe plates or buckles.

As the huntsmen tried the products many reviews came up, and just like Silva said while it was a little helpful for fourth and fifth rank huntsmen, for sixth rank huntsmen it was completely useless. Yet it did matter as here were not many sixth rank huntsmen in many kingdoms, it was still useful for many warriors.

Not only that but after inquiring more they realized a set of combat clothing could have up to four different markings, with an immense variety to choose, this meant there could be specialized combat equipment.

But things didn’t stop there, just as many people were concentrated in clothing markings, a video in the media, came out, showing a weapon with aura markings, at that moment everyone went nuts, weapons could be marked too?, once more the huntsmen community started to review more, and they came to a conclusion that while, clothing had a limit of use, weapons did not, this caused thee weapons made disappeared almost immediately, while some huntsman with sophisticated equipment asked for special marking.

Because of all of this, new Faunus staff continued coming up form Menagerie, and with the help of the already built machines and the ones being made, little by little they could continue operating, yet not everything was great, as there were some groups that tried to attack the building.

Thankfully they were already prepared, a group led by Sienna protected the place, with a big amount of Faunus huntsmen and a small portion of human huntsmen contracted by Silva, using Ozpin connections. They used a special uniform with a three silver claw marks at their back and a mask that protected their faces, their weapons were all marked with enchanted marks.

Ghira as the high leader of the white fang, took the time light as one of the two heads of the Silver Fang Company, while Silva remained in the dark, as the importance of their company started to rise, the opinion of the population started to change, many business which had problems with Faunus, started to change their ways, as they looked at the company for partnership.

As the word started to spread, through the use of the communication towers, the other kingdoms heard the news, this caused for powerful families and companies to set their eyes on this starting company, and just as Silva thought, they started causing trouble by saying that this was a power that everyone should have, asking for the release of the technology.

As some were already expecting this outcome, they started adding pressure to the company, yet actions were short lived, as Silva had already signed an accord of cooperation with Ozpin, and even though not many people knew, he knew that he had a big influence in the fourth kingdoms. As a week right after the trouble, everything stopped, stunning the smaller groups that tried to add pressure on the Silver Fang.

Finally everyone could only stare as the company little by little grew more powerful, by the end of the year, they had already bought a large spot at the industrial district, and two more buildings at the business district, in order to accommodate the sheer amount of orders coming from the four kingdoms.

Silva knew that by doing this he was going to be giving more opportunities to those who desired their products, so together with Ghira and Ozpin, they decide to hire a big amount of Huntsmen with clean backgrounds from both Menagerie and the four Kingdoms in order to protect the cargo. Sometimes even Qrow participated on its protection, of course Silva knew that he was doing it for something else, or better told someone else.

One year and a half later, the Silver Fang Company with the support of Ozpin, successfully obtained a spot in the Vale’s Council, and two years and a half earlier than in the story, Ghira stepped down as high leader of the White Fang, to become Chieftain of Menagerie.
