At this moment Silva was taking a shower at tower of Beacon, after being asked to leave the forest by Ozpin, of course he wouldn’t reject such offer. After so long, Silva was happy that he could finally use warm water to clean himself. Silva felt happy that everything he had gone through in that forest, finally came to an end.

It seemed that the system transferred him in a relative safe zone within the forever fall forest, close to the border of Beacon. After cleaning himself, he left the shower to a room where clothes were prepared for him, after drying himself with a towel, he got dressed. Currently he was wearing black shorts and a grey shirt.

Taking a sight, he looked at the things he brought back from his cave. There were a few books and miscellaneous items, out of all, the thing he was worried the most was his dust refinement container. Silva had seen Ozpin being quite interested in it, he knew that at some point Ozpin would call him about it, such a thing, who wouldn’t like to obtain. Looking at Ozpin reaction while he examined the Flying Thunder, Silva realized he was not surprised about the markings but their ability.

He didn’t know how things would go down, but he knew the kind of attitude that Ozpin displayed. Even in death he was relentless man. He knew he would probably try to put Silva under his power, but Silva didn’t want that. He was not really satisfied with the way he did things in the series.

Yet now he was living it, which was quite ironic. During the ride here, Silva had already explained them all of what he did and saw to save Summer. But his presence already created an incredible story change, so he would have to be prepared for everything. He knows the difficulty of doing as the system wanted, yet at the moment he still had time.

Right now, everything he planned, needed a big reserve of money. Silva had already thought of using the power of his semblance in order to gain influence. He just needed the founding and this marked container was the biggest part of his answer.

After thinking for a while, he decided to use the points he had gathered so far. Opening the system interface, Silva bought the Fusion Sword: Blade Designs for 3000 points. He had planned buying this design for a long time as he was a big fan of the sword. And it was the most suited for this kind of world, in order to utilize the Damocles Mark he needed a strong sword. Because if it not, the weapon would become brittle as if was glass. This is why the short sword he used broke with the first strike. The good side was that upon being broken would release incredible power, the bad side is that the mark can only be in one sword at time.

During the past three months he had obtained an Intermediate Knowledge of Mechanics of the RWBY world. The only way he could have a fast understanding was reading by reading books bought from the system. They were cheaper that knowledge crystals, but he would not forget upon reading them once.

Looking in the system the completion of eighty five percent of the book of Basic Weapon Design, Silva knew he could finish it today and using 1500 points, he bought the book of Aura Circuit Mark Manual, which could deepen his understanding of Marks of Enchantment.

After two hours of reading while waiting for Ozpin call. Silva had finally finished the book of Basic Design, and was about to start the next book, when the blonde beauty named Glynda entered the room.

Entering the room that they provided the boy called Silva. Glynda took a good look at the child, he was reading a book with great interest. After cleaning himself, the boy looked quite decent. A cute child in her opinion, but deep inside she knew they could not underestimate him. By Qrow words, he had said that the boy in front of her, was the responsible of saving Summer’s life and seemed to have quite the skill, as he saw how he stabilized Summer near dead condition.

Looking at the boy Glynda said “Hello Child, I ask to please follow me. The headmaster wants to see you”

Hearing the call, Silva just nodded and followed her leaving behind the book at the bed. Moving towards the elevator Silva couldn’t help but be stunned by the sheer size of the tower, too see it from outside was one thing but being inside is another.

Entering the elevator he finally looked at the woman by his side, she was quite stunning even for a woman he had seen on his past life. If it was his past life, he would probably done everything so he could to ask her on a date. Feeling his gaze Glynda could help but ask “Is something wrong, Child?”

“No! Nothing at all, I just thought you were such a beautiful person” Hearing him respond like that Glynda just coughed and maintained silence, but a faint blush was seen on her face. Of course it rapidly disappeared as they reached the top. She was quite the professional, it was just that Silva’s words caught her unprepared.

Finally, they left the elevator as they entered an office with a steam punk vibe, giant metallic gears were seen on top of the office, looking at all of this Silva couldn’t help but feel amazed.

“He is here” Glynda said towards Ozpin, who was seated on behind metallic desk. At his side Qrow was seen standing up. Seeing him he said “Good to see you all clean up, Kiddo”

“Being sincere, you kind of smelled weirdly when we meet” Said Qrow as he took a drink from a flask. Hearing him say that, Silva couldn’t help but look at him sharply.

“Thank you Glynda” Said Ozpin looking at the woman “Now that we are all here, let me introduce us all”

“First of all, my name is Ozpin and I’m the headmaster of Beacon Academy. The woman next to me is Professor Glynda Goodwitch and the man next to me, who you already met before is my associate Qrow Branwen” Said Ozpin quite politely.

Hearing him introduce himself Silva answered back “My name is Silva, just Silva. I don’t have any kind of last name that I remember”

“Remember?” Asked Ozpin confused.

“Yes, a big part of my memories are gone” Silva answered back, he had already prepared what he was going to say, and this was the best excuse.

“So that means you don’t remember why you were in the forest?”

“No, the only thing I remember is waking up inside it a few months ago” Silva said while mixing truths and lies, he obviously wouldn’t tell him the complete truth.

“I understand, can you tell me about those markings?”

“They are part of my semblance” He said “I just simply call them Aura Marks. It gives me the ability to create patterns that can do many different things”

“Oh! Then where did you learn all of them? I mean while you probably know how to make them. You can’t simply ask them to do what you want” Ozpin asked back. Just like Silva though Ozpin had his share of knowledge about them.

“Would you believe if I told you that the more I understand my power, the more variations that appear on my mind” Responded Silva towards him, to which Ozpin responding by nodding.

“In fact my markings are similar to the ones in your cane” Saying this a stunned expression appeared for the first time on Ozpin face. His words actually surprised both Qrow and Glynda too, as they probably didn’t know about markings at all.

“You can tell?”

“I can feel it, there is a small connection between my powers and that cane. I can’t tell what does it do, I can only feel it slowly gathering some kind of power” responded Silva. This was no a lie, ever since he saw Ozpin he was able tell, but he could feel a slight difference between his own markings and Ozpin markings.

“Interesting, does that mean your marks will work the same if you didn’t use your semblance?”

“They do” Silva answered “But it depends of how they are inscribed, because of my power I’m able to easily understand how they should be correctly made. So I do them perfectly every time, but it’s not the same if I were to write them with something else. It takes me longer”

“They have to follow a certain pattern just like mechanical circuit, but there is a benefit, if I were to use the power of my semblance, the size would be limited by my actual power” Silva explained

“Yet if you don’t, the size won’t be limited by your power, but by your skill at inscribing them, right?” Ozpin said with a slight smile “But what I want to ask is, do you truly understand what your power means?”

“Of course! It means that there can be a cooperation between us right?” The moment Silva said this, the expression of everyone changed. Silva had finally got what he wanted.

“Ho! Seems I can no longer treat you as simple child, Silva” Said Ozpin “But let me ask you, what gave it away?” in fact this took Ozpin by surprise, what he meant with his words was that his power could change the world itself. Just like Silva said his own cane used similar markings in order to store time energy.

But the boy in front of him, directly pointed at what Ozpin really wanted, to have access to this kind of power, could help them gain a bigger understanding in the field of aura technology.

“It was the way you looked at my glass container, when we were traveling on the helicopter, your eyes gazed at it many different times, so it was easy for me to understand its value in your eyes”

“I’m astonished. You are just as Qrow described it, no even better than he thought” Ozpin said “But just like you said, I called you because I wish to make use of your power”

“As a matter of fact, ever since I visited your cave, I been thinking that you could bring great changes to the world. So I wished you to make you an offer, but it seems like I must make some changes” Ozpin said “So why don’t you open with your conditions, you had probably thought of that too”

Hearing Ozpin say that, Silva knew that he had played his cards correctly and answered “In fact, I don’t want much. I only want your support, maybe you could help me fix the matter of my background too”

Giving a small smile Ozpin said “I understand, but if we are talking of cooperation you can’t only expect to gain something, you must offer something of exact value”

“Of course, I will give you a second tier energy gathering mark” he said towards Ozpin, making him ask “Second Tier?” This was something he didn’t know about.

“Yes, something like this” Silva said as he saw his confusion. And used his semblance to draw a complex floating mark. It was similar to the one he put on his glass container, but he had only draw one and he felt more tired than when he had drawn the four from before.

As he held it with his aura, the three others could feel the speed that energy gathered, “I believe something like this is what you are looking for at this moment. Of course I can give you the first tier mark for you to study too” Silva said once more before retracting his power back.

“Excellent!” Ozpin appraised “then we have reached an agreement” said as he nodded in satisfaction. After all this was what he was targeting at, with Atlas technology researching the aspects of Aura something like this could hasten their project.

“Now taking the matter of your background, I have already though of something so you don’t have to worry Mr. Silva” Said Ozpin towards him before turning towards Qrow “Now Qrow! You can take Mr. Silva to the see her, I believe there is someone else that wants to talk to him”

Hearing him Qrow just shrug his shoulders and said “C’mon Kiddo Follow me”

Silva took one more look at Ozpin before following Qrow towards the elevator, and finally leaving the place. Ozpin just smiled while seeing him disappear, before hearing turning his head to another voice.

“Are you sure Headmaster? It looked to me like he was mixing his words” Said Glynda while looking at Ozpin, “It is fine, I have already understood what needed to be understood”

“He is special, even among all the silver eyed warriors. He truly is, or have you seen heard of anyone else with a silver aura?” Responded Ozpin making Glynda speechless

“Because of that we need him, his power and semblance” Continued Ozpin with a wry smile “I wanted to put him under me, yet he beat me to it. You heard his words right? Cooperation”

“In other words he was trying to tell me, he didn’t want to be at my disposal. But he stand at my same level, even though is funny, I couldn’t help but accept”

“And why is that? Headmaster”

“Call it a sixth sense or the way he looked at me, his eyes reminded me of someone from the past. Anyway his secrets doesn’t matter to me, we only have to tie that little monster to our ship”
