《Cliché cliché the classic cancer cliché》Chapter 91

"Ding" an automated door slid open.
Dominic walked towards a nearby counter.
The entire floor was flooded with people, as they sat around tables and chairs, drinking, eating and pointing at maps to discuss their plans.
Another bunch simply stared at the staff as they ogled the forbidden fruit day and night, spending their time drinking, talking to one another and giving some unessecary remarks.
"I heard that I can sell weapons here" Dominic confirmed with the staff of the adventure's guild. The women at the counter nodded in agreement, as Dominic passed her the holy sword of the town.
"Sir, we cannot accept this" the women politely refused.
"Its a divine sword, so it is pretty good I guess, why not?" Dominic asked, as he pushed the sword into her hands.
"I'm afraid that the sword will do something bad" the women started to sweat. Her furry animal cat ears stood on their edges as the fairy of the divine sword stared down at her, with a smug smile daring her to accept the blade.
She was in short, a flying red colored little girl. With sharp eyes that appear to be peering into a person's soul. Her twin tails fluttered in the air, as red colored sparkles were appearing below her feet.
"Actually, why am I even trying?" Dominic realised.
Out of the blue, Dominic turned around, and left the sword stuck on the ground in the adventurer's guild. The entire building shook slightly, as what seemed to be an earthquake passed through the building.
"Oops" Dominic thought. He was pretty sure he didn't use alot of strength in that.
Leaving the adventurer's guild, Dominic wandered forward aimlessly. So far, after getting all that strength, life felt, meaningless.
"Hey, Death, come out" Dominic called. Death was always around, it was just who he will answer to first.
From nowhere, an enormous pressure knocked out the villagers in the town. Death's presence itself was strong enough to knock out an entire city if he will.
"I'm bored, is there anything going on?" Dominic was having a casual chat with Death.
"Uhm. No. Recently, the Nephillim who has returned to his own timeline, began to gather gods as his subordinates once more. And also, a destroyer had attacked my realm. I'm not sure if you know this, but the destroyers have began to move, a few seperate timelines are getting attacked already" Death reported.

"That's nice and all, but what do you think I should do?" Dominic asked.
"Well...I don't really know. For me, I have my ways of entertaining myself, but you should have things you haven't done as well don't you?" Death replied.
"Oh right" Dominic remembered. He pondered upon the question for a while.
"Can you teleport me somewhere?" Dominic asked.
"Sure, where?" Death agreed.
"Just look for my hometown in my memories. And yes, you may look, I'll try not to resist" Dominic assured.
A strange purpleish glow drifted from Death's finger onto Dominic's head. Without making as much as a small movement, Death searched through millions of years of memories.
"Its strange" Death smiled.
"I always thought that the human mind can only hold so much" he chuckled to himself.
Death has always played the role in ensuring everyone replays their memories before they died. To him, it felt ironic. Even among gods, they usually go insane with time.
"Oh found it" Death smiled.
"I'll bring you abit further away since there are sentinel beings nearby" Death told Dominic.
"No worries though, its only a few hundred kilometers away." he assured.
And with that, a portal engulfed Dominic and he found himself in the middle of a desert.
"Alright, just go ahead " Death pointed infront.
"Thanks" Dominic replied.
"No, thank you" Death smiled, before he dissapeared.
Dominic kicked against the ground behind him, a wave of sand formed behind, it was large enough to swallow up an entire mountain.
He found himself simply running through trees. Mountains, across water and finally, he stopped when he saw a small pile of rocks piled atop a tiny hill.
"heh" Dominic smiled.
It was nostalgic. A few years ago, there they were, playing with fire. The smallest of things could bring a smile to thier faces. And now, here he was, finding things to do, even if he found a divine sword, killed a few demon lords, saved many lives, none of it would make him smile.
"I know my way from here" Dominic was proud of that fact.
For once in quite a long time, Dominic smiled.
He slowly walked towards a door etched in the hill nearby. It looked to be clean. Not realising that fact, Dominic layed down against his old matress.
"I should hide some treasure here" it was on a whim, just a small whim.

Taking out a few instant healing amulets that he obtained in the god's realm, Dominic lifted his old mattress, and placed them underneath it.
"Maybe someone in need will chance upon it?" Dominic made a childish thought to himself.
Exiting the house, Dominic walked into the forest nearby. Slowly but surely, Dominic made his way forward. While walking, Dominic noticed that a large amount of trees had been destroyed in a single path. It was as though some giant monster had walked through while dragging its one feet.
Feeling curious, Dominic walked a little faster, following the large trail. He was fast enough to appear like a blur to anyone who happened to be nearby.
Dominic saw a big green figure nearby.
"Bob?" Dominic felt delighted. He nearly forgot about the slime.
He jumped onto the slime in an instant.
"Hey Bob, its been a long time" Dominic smiled. Only to see a few others he recognised riding atop the green slime.
The green slime stopped. It shook for a momment, before it went "bloop bloop" with air bubbles comming out from the top of the green slime.
"Heh, you learned a new trick" Dominic smiled.
"Bloop" Bob responded.
"Ah....its you! The brother...Dominic!" Kitzuma exclaimed.
"Are you here to give another quest?" the fire mage (kevin) asked.
"Money?" Perlin, the archpriest responded.
If there was such a thing as fate, Dominic surely felt like this was it. Though he could probably beat up fate if he were to try as well. A large smile broke out of Dominic's face.
"Yeah. Its an unspecified reward. Bring me on a fun and exciting adventure." Dominic had a huge grin on his face, as he said so.
"We got ANOTHER traveling buddy! You can be the strategist again!" Perlin exclaimed happily.
"Good to have you with us, now let's head to Genesia to get a quest!" Kitzuma was delighted. Another strong member had joined the party.
"Ready the teleport scroll!" he shouted, as he threw out a teleport scroll from his own inventory.
"Stop acting high and mighty and lets go! " Perlin pointed for Bob to head forward. Into a newly formed portal that scales with the size of thoese passing through.
"Hey, shouldn't we ask Bob to go smaller?" Kitzuma realised.
"Nonsense! Everyone shall be free to show their trueselves!" Perlin announced in a grandious manner.
"So you just want to show off" Kitzuma sighed.
"LETS GO!" Perlin cut him off.
And thus, a large green slime appeared in the middle of Genesia. The starting town of all adventurers and thoese aspiring to be one.
"Hello there" the silohuette of a hooded person appeared from nowhere.
"Yes, we are almost done" a dark and rasp voice replied.
"For the sake of the world!" a hooded women shouted at the top her lungs, as she flashed the sign of a pentagram with a star drawn in it.
The magic circle infront glowed, as the dead bodies of the other members slowly disintegrated into nothing.
A sinister presence. One which caused the entire room to freeze from its aura.
"Oh, the true demon king! May you lead our army to victory and untie the world!" the women appealed.
"My flesh shall be you sacrafice, my blood shall be your gift, my soul shall be free when it enters you!" she shouted, as a gigantic arm stretched out of a glowing red gate, and dragged the women in.
The arm began to shrink, as it pushed itself against the floor.
A single humanoid being stood there.
Its entire body covered in such a dense aura, that it manifested in the physical realm, hence clouding its sight.
"Where is my army?" he asked in a solemm but strong tone.
"I'll show you the way" the hooded person beckoned, as he broke the wall behind him with a tap.
The scene reveals to be that on the side of a large cliff.
Below, gathered demons of every sort possible. From dragons to ants, the demons took on every single shape. They await for their true master to give them orders for he was now freed.
"VIJA! VIJA! VIJA!" the demonic army that spreaded across the land chanted in unison. From a normal man's perspective, every single bit of the land crowded below was filled with demons no matter where he chooses to look.
"SILENCE!" the newly arrived demon king roared.
His roar itself caused the entire mountain to tremble.
"Tonight, we march" he declared, as he pointed ahead in a distance. Further than what an eagle could percieve, layed a kingdom, in all its merry ways, waiting to be destroyed.
