Gods. Beings of absolute strength, power, intelligence and wisdom. Worshipped by mortals for their mere presence, these gods bring upon blessings and demise depending on their mere nature.

However, these gods , the ones we look up to and worship. Laid below the feet of a mortal who they should have easily trampled upon, these gods could but only shift their eyes slightly, to look up upon the single mortal who had brought them down below their knees.

"HEHEHAHEHAAHEA" a crazed laughter escaped the mouth of the madman.

He waved his fingers below, towards the disfigured gods that were below him.

Their forms shifted and changed into mere puddles and stretched around against the ground. Seemingly to be having the time of his life toying with them, the smile of the youth stretched so widely, the skin surrounding his mouth began to rip. It must have been terribly painful, but at this, the youth merely smiled even more.

Thunder roared, as the air had a tingling feeling going on about it.

A few figures appeared around the crazed youth.

11. There were 11 of them.

"As the rulers of this region, we have come to rid this land of the acclaimed monster!" a man, with a bushy beared. white robe and a large cartoonish looking thunderbolt in his hand stood out amongst them.

11 of the major olympian gods were present.

"Surrender and face a peaceful death, or we shall take it away by force!" the voice boomed.

Zeus. The man or more specifically, god who seemed to lead the charge shouted.

Lightning crackled all around, as a flash of light rushed towards the mad man in the middle.

However, it was as though the lightning never existed. With a wave of the youth's hand, the lightning bolt dissapeared.

"!"

The gods were alarmed.

It was the master bolt. One that can easily blow apart mountains and split seas. Shot by none other than Zeus himself, and yet it had no effect at all.

"HEAHEAHEA" the laughter of the youth appeared to be hysterical.

Seeing this, immediately, the 11 olympian gods that were present started to attack with their magic and weapons.

They were gods of the greeks and romans. Gods that were born for battle.

"HEEEEEEEEEEEE" the youth screeched autistically.

Space and time distorted.

A second became a year, space started to convulse and fold.

The gods immediately scrambled. Their instincts warning them of the danger.

What they saw ahead, where the distortion had stopped, was the lifeless body of a certain white haired youth. His entire back had split into two, with his blood and guts spilling everywhere.

"He has killed himself" Zeus commented.

"No Shit Sherlock" rebutted Poseidon, his brother, the god of seas.

"We couldn't see that" Athena, the god of wisdom sarcastically remarked.

"YOU GUYS!" Zeus was going to babyrage as usual.

"Wait.." Athena cautioned with a sudden change in the mood.

"Look" she said, pointing to the puddle the other gods had became.

The word [H E L P] was ominiously stainted against the floor.

Just as the gods noticed that, an evil presence had passed. They could feel the sinister presence lurking around, yet they couldn't see or sense anyone around. It was as though it was there with them, and yet not there at all.

"UGH" screamed the 12th olympian that had hidden himself.

Hades. With his hades helmet. A hole bore through his chest, as hades found himself on the ground. His helmet that hid his very own presence fell off his head, as it crashed against the ground near the gods.

"How?" he wanted to scream.

However, the hole in his belly merely grew larger, as the gods could only watch their comrade slowly corrode away into nothingness from the hole that grew larger and larger.

And then, just as it suddenly appeared, the presence disappeared.

With a loud screeching sound, the gods seemed to find the fear that was breathing down their necks disappear.

Spring.

Ah, the time of new beginings.

Where people move closer to each other, seeking the warmth of the other party.

A sakura tree stood alone in the little silhouette of its silent shadow. Its petals, falling from its source, as the pink paper-like object fall upon the students below.

Spring.

The start of school.

A season of new beginings.

On this bright and vibrant day, a certain household found itself unable to shift towards the mood.

Two silent and confused figures found themselves floating in the air. The wind blew against their faces, as the sudden revelation of their rather tragic past left them in confusion. Why? Imagine anticipating meeting your parents or relatives you thought had left for various reasons only to find out that they are dead. Perhaps the most befitting words to describe their current emotion would be a vague dissapointment, and a tinge of anger. They were angry, but they didn't know why.

"What did we eat for breakfast again?" an aloof Mitsuha found herself going the wrong direction.

She felt herself chasing the sakura petals in the wind. Just like a little toddler who knows nothing of the world.

"Maybe, maybe it would be better if I hadn't tried to probe." she thought.

Now that she thought about it, her past has been oddly pleasent and filled with happiness and joy. It was her own mental restraints that had blocked out all thoese memories. And the journey in hell that exposed her to the sins of the world were chipping away at that mental block. She didn't need to ask, she knows that. After all, she would find out one day by herself.

She remembered the happy days where her two brothers started to build a house at the sides of a cliff. Where she was thought how to read and write that had felt natural to her. Now she knew why. She had already known, long before they found themselves living happily together in that area.

At night, she had once seen her second brother slaying monsters that surrounded the house. But she chalked it all up to a bad dream. That was right. No one was hiding anything from her. She was the one who was running away.

"Ah" she released a slight moan from her mouth.

The surrounding students floating on their way to school turned for a brief moment and blushed upon looking at a beauty moan.

She understood..

.

She was angry at herself, for being so weak , powerless to stop anything. And finally, even running away.

Her eyes glimmered with a new light, as she suddenly did a 180, and went on the correct way to school.

Benedict found himself lost.

He was in his own world of doubts and confusion.

*bang*

A girl running below him, threw her bag towards him. Even then, he didn't move aside and merely let the bag hit him in the head.

As his figure fell from the skies, a certain bunny girl caught him in her arms.

The culprit was also the saviour.

"What's wrong with you today?" Usagi asked Benedict.

"heheha" Benedict gave a light exasperated laugh.

"Its nothing" he said.

Usagi merely stared at him.

Her usual facial expression that carried on a happy glimmering face, merely frowned unhappily and looked at him. That in itself was a huge change in the ever-happy bunny girl.

"Fine" she said. Turning around after retrieving her bag.

"Ah..." Benedict wanted to call out to her.

"Wait!" Benedict called out.

"Will you hear me out?" he asked.

The frown was turned upside down, as the usual smiling Usagi greeted him with a "sure".

And hence, Benedict told her the story of his past. His memories.

Despite this, Usagi didn't seem so shock or suprised. It was as thought she had already known, instead, her eyes appeared to be in nostalgia.

"Hey Benedict, you want to listen to a story of a certain bunny?" Usagi asked him.

"yes?" he allowed her to continue.

"You see, this certain bunny was living in a happy home, with her parents and the elders. It was going to be her coming of age ceremony, where she and her sister would be branded with the official mark of the moon rabbit tribe.

And then, on that day where they were branded, slavers had attacked. They had burned down everything she so cherish, including her parents that resisted just to allow her and her sister to escape, to jump down from the artificial moon they lived on.

And then, this bunny was seperated from her sister. Making her all alone and injured in the world.

When she collapsed down wherever she was from the exahustion, this bunny found herself in the home of the humans who had destroyed her village. (refering to humans as a species here)

She was aggressive at first, and even attacked her own saviour, biting his fingers whenever he tried to approach her.

Even then, she was continued to be taken care of.

A few years had passed as she lived happily in that household, and one day, the mother of the human who found her asked of him to let her go.

He was so desperate, so sad, but they knew that had no choice.

After all, they can't confined a bunny in their house forever as their pet.

The bunny herself also had to find her sister.

After releasing her at the edge of a hill, the bunny went into the forest for a while, looking aimlessly for her sister that might hopefully be alive after all these years nearby.

Maybe her sister had already moved on somewhere further.

But she still had to find her.

Her parting with thoese who thought her the warmth of a family was sad, it was heart wrenching even. But she still had something to do, and that was to find her sister. After that, she promised herself to return with her sister. " Usagi stopped and looked at Benedict.

"The next thing she saw when she turned around for the last time, was a huge black ray engulfing and destroying the village"

"A giant beast roared at the horizon, and the pressure itself was enought to make me want to faint. And just as the beast was about to trample over the remains of the village, I saw a small figure of a certain boy who cooks food for me every morning, jumping towards the beast.

And that was when, I couldn't resist the pressure anymore, and fainted."

"Isn't fate a funny thing? Just when I was wallowing in despair, I came upon your village. Just as I was in happiness despair came. Just as I found myself living a meaningless life in this city, I found hope. I found the happiness I lost. I found you" Usagi smiled as she looked at Benedict.

"Let's go to school kay?" she reached her small hands out towards Benedict.

Grabbing her hand, the two made their way to school. A happy silence drafted between them in the air.
