At a certain little seaside town, a handsome youth along with 3 other beauties came out of a portal.

"Welcome to Paliol" the receptionist made her greeting.

To which the group could only smile in amazement at the scenic view displayed infront of them.

It was messy, and yet beautiful. The smell of the sea, the wind breeze, it was clear to them, that it was the correct city.

"Uhm.. Benedict, let's go donate to the orphanage first alright?" Usagi suggested.

It was what they had came here for anyways.

The city was buztling with activity as usual, as the group gathered the attention of the surroundings.

"Are they celebrities from somewhere?"

"That guy is so hot"

"Die"

The usual cliche mob characters looked upon from the sidelines.

"Excuse me," Benedict tried calling out to the people nearby. The females appeared to shy away for some reason, and the guys simply ignored him.

In the end, he settled down to ask a shopkeeper of the location of the orphanage after being made to buy a few fried fishes from the store.

"This city's pretty complicated isn't it?" Usagi commented, as she bit into the fried fish on a stick.

The orphanage appeared to be burried deep inside the city, surrounded by houses and stores that form something like a ring around it. With the only entrance being a single path inbetween two buildings, making something like an alleyway.

And naturally, in the alleyway, stood a few ruffians blocking their way.

"Look what we have here?" mob character A stated.

"Quite a feast isn't this?" mob character B commented.

"Run! The cops are here again!" mob character C exclaimed.

And with that, the alleyway was immediately cleared out.

Without a word, the group entered the orphanage.

"Hey women, empty out all your donations now!" a bunch of hooligans threatened the women at the cashier with a knife pointed to her throat.

"..."

"Ohh look what we have here" the mobs turned around and smiled at the group.

Then, the door flung open.

A bunch of cops came in and immediately tazed the hooligans.

"Not again..." the policeman sighed after bringing in the gangsters.

It appears that due to the orphanage being nearly isolated from the rest of the city due to its layout, most ruffians that come from the outside usually try to rob this broke orphanage.

"Uh... are you guys here to adopt a child?" the women asked meekly.

"No... we are here on behalf of David."Benedict awkwardly replied.

"Did you just say David?! That David?!" the women screamed out in suprise.

"Ah... yes?" Benedict replied.

"That child! Really, after he reached adulthood, he suddenly just disapeared... the next thing I know, he killed the lord and ran away!" the women appeared to be recalling back to something.

"So, what did he ask of you?" she smiled and asked.

"We would like to make a donation" Usagi said.

"Ah of course, give me a second." the women stopped, and took out a dusty book from the drawer.

In it, there were apparently only 9 lines of past donations that had been made. And their amount was rather significant , but probably not enough to make up for the lack of donations or funds.

Happily, the women wrote down "david" in clear and neat letters. In fact, the whole book only had only two names. David and Issabell. with David being the tenth one.

Benedict mentally teared up.

"So, how much?" she asked with a sweet smile.

"Oh....its..."

"Its alright, its the effort that counts, so don't be shy" she smiled sweetly.

"3 million credits" Usagi finished.

With that, the women's expression did a 360 and broke.

"3...3.3.3.3.....3 MILLION?!" she exclaimed.

"Jee..jeee?" a little girl peaked out from the backdoor. She appeared to be no more than the age of 2, and was curiously peeking out.

"Ah.Go back to sleep ok? Lenord! Carry her back to play or something" the women called out, and a young child who appeared to be around 12, quickly rushed out and carried the playful baby away.

When he saw them, he simply noded his head in respect.

"Ah, come on in, since you are David's friends... I don't know if I could serve you well enough but come on..." the women wrote down 3million and placed the book back in the drawer.

The group was brought around the back in the small orphanage. They passed by a few rooms, numbering to around 5 or so, and each had 4 doubledecker beds cramped together.

There was a room kept clean with old toys that little toddlers could be seen playing around in.

Finally, they were led to a rather sizeable cafeteria, where long stools and tables were neatly placed in clean rows.

From the kitchen, the women brought out some plain water.

Usagi teared up.

"Is there something wrong? We also have milk... but that's for the children..." the women panicked.

"No...its nothing...just some dust in my eyes." she replied.

Judging from the fact that she could call Mr David a child, the group deemed her to be of quite a great age. And she was happily taking care of children despite this condition...

"Ah right, so actually I invited you here to ask about David, since the children are also intrested in him as well, as you can see..." it seems that the children here treat Mr David as some sort of Legend. The group noticed some little strands of hair poking out, as the children adapted the 'if I can't see you , you can't see me' mentality.

"So how is he?" the women asked.

"Is he eating fine now? Oh dear me, what am I even askin..." she laughed a little...until she realised the awkward sadness carried by the youths infront of her.

"What are you guys doing here? Go play somewhere else~" the women shooed away the peeking children who ran away after being spotted.

"He....his dead" Mitsuha grit her teeth as she stated.

"He died protect...."

"enough" the women silenced Mitsuha with a stern voice and a smile.

"Ah...I see I see..." she appeared to be fine with it, if not for the clenched fist she was hiding under the table.

"But...did he go peacefully?" she asked with a smile.

He died in an explosion blowing him into a million different pieces... not like they could have said that.

"Uh..."

Then suddenly, they heard the door open.

"Its I, the great and mighty fire mage have returned!" a bosterious voice announced.

"Its Rachel!" the children cried out and swarmed the target of the bosterious voice.

"Did you finally realised how much you can't actually acomplish and returned?" asked a young child, brimming with innocence.

"Who taught you such words!?" Rachel was shocked.

"Hello~"

"Hello"

There were two other voices that greeted them.

"Wa..."

"RACHEL BROUGHT A GUY HOME!" the kids started shouting at the sight of Kitzuma.

"No its not like that!" the mage tried to defend herself, as the children barged into the cafeteria and announced to the women.

"Yes, yes I could hear you all the way from here" the women solemmly got up from the seat, and headed to the front. Benedict and the rest followed along as well.

"Ah, its been so long..."the women gently smiled, as the mage bosteriously announced.

"I have come to make a donation!" she announced, brimming with joy.

"Heheh, don't be suprised when I tell you the amount!" she smiled.

"Its 50,000 credits!" she smiled with pride.

"Ah...okay." the women replied. She actualy wasn't that suprised, but she tried to act so. However, she wasn't so good at that. Even the children could tell. However the idiot mage still laughed happily.

Taking out the account book, she wrote down her name and the date.

"Ohh, the account book has grown?!" she smiled.

"Let see..."

Right above her name, there was a name listed as David. He was the person she had heard stories of and admired since she was young.

"DAVID?!" she exclaimed.

To her, he was the silent hero that risked his life to slay the evil lord. After that, he mysteriously vanished like a silent hero. He was also the legendary orphan that fended off against hooligans at the young age of 7.

And then, she saw that it was the same date, which meant that he came by earlier or was still here.

"3...3.....3MILLION?!" she shouted out in suprise.

It made her amount feel tiny in comparison.

"ahahahah....just you wait! I will overtake you oneday!" the mage declared to no one in particular.

Looking at the cheerful scene, it blew away the previous gloomy mood.

"Who's this rajuu with a harem?!" Kitzuma and a certain archpriest shouted in suprise upon noticing Benedict and the rest.

"Ah, they are David's friends..." the women explained.

"Come to the cafeteria! I will tell you my glorious adventuring tales!" the mage announced and led the children to the cafeteria.

Gently smiling , the group followed along as well.

"I sense a spirit?" the archpriest muttered to herself in curiosity.
