"I'm the archpriest Perlin! Today you shall meet your end!" a single priest shouted at an entire legion of well-trained mages, archers, preists and gunslingers.

Casting buffing magic onto the enemies near her, she leapt in.

The closest, were the gunslingers. They were confused.

"Cleanse!" the other priests shouted, thinking that it was debuffing magic.

"Super punch!" the priest shouted, as she threw a regular punch at one of the confused enemies.

Thanks to her rather high stats she was gifted with, it managed to do some damage to that gunslinger. Taking advantage of his temporary stunt, she took away the gun in his hands, and fired at him, who was standing still at close range. And to that, she missed. Luckily she was surrounded, allowing the bullet to hit a priest standing behind.

"Super kick!" she shouted, as she hit a man's certain area.

The people around, held their crotches as they cringed slightly.

However, spells and bullets were already comming onto her.

"Pull!" Kitzuma screamed as he activated his skill. With a rope, it managed to drag her to safety while binding her up temporary.

"Kitzuma! Ke...Rachel!" she was delighted.

"What's my name?" a certain (non-ledgit) mage asked again.

"I'm so glad you're here! Now we can each take on 50 of them!" she declared happily while ignoring the mage's question.

"That's not something to be happy about!" Kitzuma panicked.

"Hey, answer me" the mage asked yet again.

As that occured, more spells such as lightning strikes, arrows and bullets flew towards them.

The priest that was shot was being healed by his counterparts.

"Fire Blast!" shouted the (non-ledgit) mage.

The surroundings were engulfed in a sea of flames, but they were still hit by the spells anyways.

"Ouch!" Kitzuma screamed as he was struck by lightning.

"Water! Waterfall!" the mages in the surroundings quickly put up the flames.

But that was going all according to Kitzuma's (accidental) plan.

"Freeze!" he shouted. Turning the water into ice, causing the soldiers who were dosed in even the tiniest bit of water to be frozen.

He was sort of like the main core of his party. With a little bit of everything that was below average anyways. Simple spells he spent months to learn, just to be able to kill the small slimes bouncing around for loot.

After all, the mage in his party was a little bit (Very) unreliable.

And the (unreliable) mage was currently barely being able to stand from exhausting mana on a spell that she had absolutely no compatibility with.

"Run!" Kitzuma ordered, as the archpriest carried the mage on her back, and attempted to escape.

"Come back here you bastards!" screamed the frozen backline.

The magicswordsman leapt in, and was confronting at least 20 soldiers surrounding and attack him from all directions. Yet, he managed to hold his own and even bring down one or two of them.

"Backline support!" a knight requested. However, they were in chaos behind as well.

"Looks like that archpriest kept her keep. Now its my turn!" the magic swords man using the blunt side of his blade clashed with the soldiers.

"Lightning!" the mage in his party shot forth a streaking trail of yellow light. Tearing through the enemies flanking him from the right.

"Hey you come here!" a voice called out to the crusader who couldn't find a momment to go in.

A man with white hair called out to her from the cages.

"I'm the person they came to capture" he announced.

"Why?" the crusader asked.

"Because of my weapons" he stated.

"Every single day, in that damned place, they forced me to built weapons again and again without a single break!" the person ranted.

"Anyways, I was too afraid to use this, so could you give it to someone who can?" the man passed her a c4.

"... you didn't invent this... this is a c4 isn't it?" the crusader made a silent retort.

"I can't hold on anymore" the crusader heard the magic swordsman shout, and ran forward to help.

"Are you guys A rank adventurers?! I never heard of you before!" the soldiers struggled against a single person.

"We just started" the magic swords man replied.

"What kind of bullshit is this?!" they retorted.

The adventurers guild did have rankings for adventurers, however, quests were never limited by the ranks. If they were to die, then it'l be their own problem.

"Johnathon get back!" the crusader shouted, as he leapt away as fast as he could.

And then, she threw the c4 into the middle of the army.

Without aming and by a stroke of luck, the c4 was thrown next to the grand looking carriage the prince rode in.

The horses panicked, and stepped onto the c4, killing the prince.

"Ohhhhh" shouted the soldiers.

"That's unfair! We never used explosives!" another one of the soldiers shouted.

"All is fair in love and war!" the inventor(lol) shouted from the cage.

"The prince has died! Oh nooo" the soldiers pretended to fall in panick, as Johnathon could see the smile in their faces. After all, the c4 had only killed the prince and his attendent.(+horses)

"Retreat! Retreat back to the kingdom!" they shouted in unison.

From Dominic's conversation with the soldiers, it appeared that they have had enough with the prince as well. Perhaps they didn't even like attacking innocent villagers in the first place.

And that was how the situation sort of resolved itself.

"huh?"

"what happened?"

The villagers were confused.

Night came, as the villagers threw a grand party in celebration and thanks for the adventuring party which was now treated as heroes by the village.

"Cheers!" voices erupted from the lively village, as alcohol was spilled around everywhere.

Dominic got into the mood to party as well, as they hailed him as the master strategist who made the decision to bring the carriage right infront of the army.

And then, a single messenger from the kingdom came running towards the festive village. He carried on him a single letter, and laid down his head in apology.

[To the village who habored a criminal and killed my son]

- I'm Comming for you.

And that was it.

"Let them come have it!" Johnathon who was drunk, excited the mood once again with his statement.

"Cheers! All hail the 8 protectors!" the villagers quickly got drunk as well.

"Oh right, when are they comming?" Dominic asked the messenger who thought he would be dead. Instead, he was happily drinking beer with them.

"Oh. Tommorow morning" was his casual reply.
