"Hey you, wake up" Dominic was forcefully shooken on the shoulders.
"Yes?" he asked.
"Are you the owner of this cariage?" the person who appeared as a knight dressed in blue armor asked.
"Yeah" he replied lazily.
"Then, we would need to bring you in with us, along with your other friends here" the knight ordered, as he pointed to the adventurer bunch and the guild member who was now locked up in a cage.
"I don't know them " Dominic replied.
"How cruel!" Perlin shouted.
"Yeah! Exactly! After all we've been through you.." Johnathon rambled on.
Dominic sighed.
"oh right, may I know why have you destroyed the town ahead?" Dominic asked.
"They were haboring a criminal of our state..."the knight replied.
"Ah. Okay then." Dominic replied.
"Could you let them go? I don't know what they did but I need them to guide me to the city near Galiol." Dominic asked.
"The thing is... even though they didn't harm us much at all... but the prince has ordered them to be brought back and executed for the disrespect they showed him. So I'm sorry, and he said to execute you as well since he was in a bad mood." the knight apologised.
"What a irresponsible prince" Dominic commented.
Instead of getting angry, the knight sighed and said "I know right".
"So what did they do?" Dominic asked.
"you see..."
A little while ago, while Perlin and Johnathon charged forward recklessly, the army consisting of 300 or so soldiers weren't actually fazed in the least. They readied their weapons to take on the crazy adventurers charging at them. However, before they even reached, Kitzuma and the rest tackled them to the ground. "Are you crazy?!" Kitzuma had shouted.

"Who are you?" the prince had asked.
But ignoring the prince, the adventurers had the guts to simply try and leave with a "I'm sorry" while restraining two of their companions.
Then, having been ignored for the first time, the prince decided to have them executed.
"Oh. Isn't that rather funny?" Dominic asked.
"Yeah, apparently our laughter also enraged the prince somewhat, so we'll probably be demoted when we go back" the knight lightheartedly said. It seems that he was quite used to it already.
"So, what if I refuse?" Dominic asked.
"Then we would be forced to use violence" the knights replied solemmly.
"I'm not really a fan of violence..." Dominic told them silently.
"That's good" the knight replied.
Then, he knocked all of them out swiftly with a chop to the back of their necks.
"But if you're gonna bother my journey, I would have to use it." he told them.
"..." the watching adventurers were speechless at Dominic's actions.
"I knew these two were idiots, but could you have been an idiot as well?!" Kitzuma shouted from the cage.
"Huh? Would you rather be executed? I could leave you all in the cage you know?" Dominic asked threateningly.
"Ah."
"I'm sorry" Kitzuma lowered his head.
The adventurers got out of the cage, after the lock was destroyed by Dominic's gun.
"Alright then, let's just pretend nothing happened and move along" Dominic announced.
The group sat in the carriage, as the guild member took the reins this time.
Going forward, the group passed the army, leaving behind the unconscious knights as though it was nothing on the roads.
"..."
The army standing in formation was speechless, as they saw a carriage casually move past them who were capturing the villagers.

"Isn't that the carriage I told the knights to bring over?" the prince asked a beautiful female attendent next to him.
"Yeah... I think so?" she was equally as confused.
"Why do you act like you're not seeing anything wrong?!" screamed a villager captured in a steel cage.
The guild member holding the reins kept his cool.
Meanwhile, Dominic was lying on the matteress with the adventurers seating solemmly at one corner.
"Aren't you guys the adventurers that were to be executed?! If you manage to escape, why the fuck are you just seating down casually in the carriage!" the prince couldn't hold it in anymore and finally retorted.
He was not a fat person, nor an ugly one. He was more of a handsome man in his teens. Which made Dominic want to retort at him for not being fat and ugly.
Ignoring the prince once again, the carriage moved on.
"I don't see the villagers in need.... I don't see anything...." the magicswordsman curled up in a corner and muttered to himself silently.
"I need to go to the bathroom" the archpriest announced, before being pinned down by her two party members.
"I'll pee here if you don't let me go! I'm serious!!" the archpriest screams could be heard, as the carriage moved a bit further towards the other side.
"Guards.. mages... destroy that carriage and everything in it." the prince finally couldn't take it anymore. He gave up on retorts at the huge amount of things he had to say.
And then, a few fireballs and bullets from gunslingers flew towards the carriage.
"Barrier!" the mage casted.
"Ah , so this is the usefulness of a ledgit mage." Kitzuma commented, before Rachel( or Kevin) the mage in his party jumped on him.
"Can you tell me whoese the non-ledgit mage?" she asked.
"I'm free!" the archpriest shouted as she jumped out.
"I can't take it anymore! I have to go!" the magic swords man followed.
The guild member at the reins face palmed.
"I'll trust you to take on a 150, I'll take on the guards, you take care of the backline" the magicswordsman issued orders at the retarted archpriest, before the two of them tried to engage the entire army of 300.
"See, what have you done?!" screamed Kitzuma.
"If only you kept your mouth shut" the fire mage (self proclaimed) pouted.
"We need to help them!" the crusader and the (ledgit) mage jumped off the carriage as well.
"Let's go" Kitzuma and the (non-ledgit) mage followed.
"Aren't we back at square one!?" the guild member retorted to no one in particular.

8 175Numbers Continually Going Upward
The world has very politely ended in the most webfiction way possible. Everyone is now leveling up in various things. Problems are arising. Some or all of those problems may be based around how to have a community barbeque when the nearest cow has been teleported to a few thousand miles away, along with the nearest supermarket. Join our protagoinst as he attempts to be a cool person, while everything falls apart. _____It turns out that any attempt to write a parody of the litrpg genre through overuse of the concept of leveling up inevitably fails when it turns out that *that is what the genre is based on*. Still, this was a fun little candy project of mine, and I might write more of it.

"Why us?" Still staring at the unusually stationary fire of the candle he was holding, Agung voiced the questions in our mind. "Out of 2 million people living in this city, why are we the chosen ones?" As if on cue, the eerie laughter of children could be heard above us. Holding our own candle tightly, we resolved to ignore them and continued our discussion. It was a matter of life or death after all. More than half of the initial participants had fallen and the building became more crowded as the result. There were now more ghosts than the living and each step was filled with danger from the unknown. Either we solved all the questions now or we would become another addition to the ghost camp. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There was one thing Novita found out after she accepted an invitation to a suspicious event from a seemingly legal company. Crowded didn't exactly mean safe. As more and more variables were added to the dangerous ritual, the higher the risk of death. At the same time, the higher the risk was, the better the rewards for it. But in the end, was it worth it? Note : This series was posted on scribblehub.com under the same name.
