"Uweh" Mitsuha crouched onto the ground. Her mouth vomiting out nasty liquids comming from the stomach. Around her, laid countless amounts of dead bodies. Their faces were long gone, as Mitsuha could still taste the nasty rotten meat she had placed in her mouth.

"This feast is great! You sure cook well!" Usagi told the air infront of her, as she ripped out the skin of the dead body and injested the rotten meat. All with a smile on her face.

"WAKE UP!" Mitsuha shouted, as she sent her pisonic ability smashing against everyone of them.

"Ohh looks like we have someone with rather high mental resistance don't we" a different voice taunted from the surroundings.

The others woke up, and started to vomit after realizing what had been placed in their mouths.

"Bastard" Benedict cursed.

"Says a person who had been eating human flesh! AHAHAHAA" the voice laughed.

The rotten and disgusting taste retained within their mouths, as they shuddered at the experience and what they had just done.

"Well congratulations! That was the last of it so now... perhaps we would meet at the end if you could even survive the next floor~" the voice said light heartedly.

"It was a pity you guys all survived though..." the voice said so, as though it was pouting.

"I....I ate...." Usagi vomited more, as she recalled.

Risha as well. Starting a chain reaction, as they tried to cleanse their mouths by chugging down bottles of water.

"We should rest here for now" Benedict suggested, as they sat down on the floor. They were tired, dirty and battered. How long has it been, since they even had a wince of sleep. Their santiation was at its lowest, with nothing to clean themselves with. Their precious water was unexpendable since they needed it to drink. Who knew how long this would last.

"Catch a break in hell? Too bad! Perhaps if you weren't so hasty to enter the first portal you could probably do so there." the voice announced. Then, the floor started to rumble and shake.

A crack appeared before them, as they fell down below.

They had resisted many temptations. To sleep, to drink, to lust, to steal, and finally, to eat. If Mitsuha hadn't stopped them, they would probably eat the rotten flesh until they perish, and only awaken from their little dream into the face of a hellish nightmare.

But... without a doubt, passing safely from the next floor would be nothing short of a miracle.

Then again, miracles are only called miracles because they don't happen. The devil smiled as he thought.

Benedict opened his eyes, to find themselves dropped into a scene that came out of a horror movie.

Cages upon cages surrounded them with extremely hostile and nonetheless dangerous monsters. Monsters with sizes rivaling that of even the largest kraken.

A giant broken clock hung ahead. It was so huge, that it made everything else look so puny in comparison.

Then he recalled the hint from the previous devil. Catch a break in hell? Was what the devil asked. Meaning that it was false. And unable to be done here.

"Run." Benedict announced.

He saw the clock move. It second hand started to tick. There was a straight path that laid towards the clock. A straight path of a wooden bridge with lava laid at the bottom. He realised that it was a trap. A death trap with no way out. The momment they stepped onto the bridge, the monsters would be released. And it would cause the bridge to collapse and bring them down. They could run on the air. But it still wouldn't be able to last such a ridiculous distance. 30...no 50km Benedict estimated.

There was only one way out.

Someone had to stay back and distract the monsters. And if he was right, someone had to die. The monsters would be released the next time the minute hand moves, as he saw the "1" labeled on some of the cages.

"Yeah we run." Mitsuha said.

"Towards the opposite side of the bridge" she announced.

Her foresight was working in overclock. She foresaw themselves running and barely making it to the clock with the help of Mr David's sacrafice, only to be crushed as the clock itself was a monster.

"NOW" she screamed.

The second timer was ticking, as they broke into a sprint, and suprisingly found themselves on solid ground behind the cages.

They ran for their lives. Towards the darkness with no goal in sight.

It was pitch black, as they lost sight of direction. They had noway to know where they were going and where each of them were.

However, they could hear the monsters charging at them from behind.

"DONT LOOK BACK DONT EVEN TURN! JUST RUN FORWARD WITH YOUR EYES CLOSED!" Mr David shouted.

It was a surefire way of getting ahead even without a sense of direction.

Since you never changed the path you took, you wouldn't possibly end up going the other way.

Mitsuha felt herself falling behind. She kept up with the use of her pisonic abilty, it was extremely risky. It could mean risking herself to danger if a monster laid at the end.

"Oh little mortals, its a suprise you didn't fall for it, not like this was a floor to test your intelligence anyways. Perhaps you might want to see how long you could last in this hopeless situtaion" the voice taunted.

"Continue forward!" Benedict motivated the group.

"Oh if so, be my guest" the voice laughed.

And then, another hour passed. Perhaps it was less or maybe it was more. They didn't know.

"Aren't you all tired?" the voice taunted yet again.

"Don't give up! Continue!" Benedict shouted.

When asked to run 5 kilometers in a path where you could see the goal, most people would be able to accomplish it with ease. However, when you asked a person to run until they could see a certain sign, without any landmark notifying them of their direction or distance, most would however, choose to give up as they had deemed themselves to be lost.

This was merely a simple and yet cruel test.

Not only do they not have to give up, they had to run fast enough to avoid the monsters chasing after them from behind.

It was impossible for them to pass this stage without sustaining even a castualty.

A certain teacher had started to waver.

What if there was no end? What if they were really doing this for nothing? Was what he thought.

He was a pratical man. Never willing to take risks. Perhaps the most risky thing he ever took was the mission to assasinate the lord of his town. And even that, he was assured he was able to do it successfully. That was why being an assasin was suited for him. There was a goal in sight from the begining.

"DON'T STOP!" Benedict's voice shouted out loud.

Is that even really benedict? Mr David started to doubt.

"IF YOU DO, IT'S THE END" Benedict's voice added on.

"Oh that's right" Mr David realised. If he ever gave up, he would be eaten and devoured by the monsters behind as well.

And then, another few hours had passed. No one could even feel their legs anymore. They were going to collapse. Soon. A sound of someone falling flat on the ground was heard.

They wanted to shout Who?! But their bodies didn't even contain the strength to ask who? Other than Mr David and Benedict who were perhaps, a very long distance away from the other three girls.

"Who was it?" Benedict asked, worried. Yet there was no reply other than Mr David. He was tempted to stop and turn around. In fact, he did. He wanted to help. Then he realised his mistake. He had no way of finding out which direction was the correct one now.

"Oh shit" he panicked,

With no way of actually going back on track, he did a turn back, retracing his steps, and ran again. If it was wrong, then so be it. Was what he had thought.

Mr David was the first to emerge into the light. From the darkness behind, he suddenly emerged into the light. A white and empty space, with a single portal in sight.

"I... I made it" Mr David smiled.

He collapsed against the cold hard ground.

His eyelids felt heavy.

"I got to send them a signal." Mr David thought. His body quickly radiated all his stored up Ki.

In hopes to guide the siblings to the correct path. The two bunnies should also be able to sense it to some extent.

After a while, a rabbit girl who was always rather quiet emerged. Followed by Usagi. "Where's Benedict and Mitsuha?!" Mr David panicked.

Then, Mitsuha emerged.

She collapsed against the floor, and looked around.

"Where's Benedict?" she asked. He was the fastest out of the students. So he should have been the first one to arrive.

"We don't know" Risha replied.

Benedict POV

I continued to run. I had to run. However, there was someone behind. Someone that had fallen. I needed to rescue him/her. My emotions were messed up, as I ultimately decided to continue to run.

My sense of direction is probably correct. Or was it wrong? I didn't know. I could still hear the monsters footsteps chasing from a distance, so this should be the correct way.

And then. as though to smash my hopes, I hit a stone hard wall ahead of me.

I tumbled and fell behind. Shit.

There was no way out. Behind the rock wall, wherever it may be. If I got stuck in a wall, I'll die. It wasn't even taking a risk anymore. Its either do and die or do nothing and die.

With that, I teleported myself forward, as far as I could.

....

.....

Huh?

I could feel the air brushing against me. I didn't die?

Ahead of me, laid a city. An actual city. It was modern and comparable to the academic city. Could I have teleported out of hell?

No way.

I laid down, feeling exhausted.

Whatever it is, I needed to rest first. In case the city was hostile, I needed to rest. And with that, I closed my eyes.

3rdPOV

"Oh it looks like we are missing a person~!" the voice laughed.

"No..No way..." Usagi trembled.

Mitsuha had a really dark and scary look in her eyes.

"Huh?" Mr David was shocked.

"Could it be just now... it was Benedict that fell?" he mumbled.

"I should have turned back to help! Shit" Mr David lamented.

Pesudo darkness fell upon each of their spirits, as they could only blame themselves for not bothering to help the one who had fallen. They thought only of themselves. Selfish. That was the word to describe them.

"kekekeeke" the voice laughed creepily.

Then, they heard the footsteps of monsters incomming. Immediately, they jumped into the portal.

"Aww I only got 1" was the last thing they heard from the voice of the 3rd floor.
