"This sucks" Dominic thought.

He was currently situated in the middle of some mountians. Much less heading towards the great sea galiol. he didn't even have a clue which way to go. Thus ending up in his current placement somewhere in the wildereness. Aimlessly walking in a single direction. Perhaps he would find himself in some kingdom getting some information on the direction in which he would need to go.

Monsters appeared to be at bay wherever he was, most of which hesitated to get close. There were a few beasts that had tried miserably in an attempt to ambush him but of course, met their end at the swing of his fist.

He walked around in the wilderness, going wherever his legs brought him. Perhaps in hopes of finding someone or a village where he could ask about the location of where he should go.

After a while, Dominic found himself overlooking a rather large town. He stood on the peak of one of the mountains, as he looked down towards a rather large town that was situated below.

With a happy smile, he leapt down below.

The town of Genesia, the starting town as one would call it. Adventurers from all over the world spawned from this single location, as it was vastly considered a rite of passage for an adventurer to register officially at this town.

They call it the town of beginings. In other words, a starting town for new budding adventureres to gain experience. A rather popular town, where bards happily played music and people lived in peace even without a governing rule. Freedom was the key point of the town.

There weren't even walls surrounding the town, much less guards. It was nothing short of a miracle that the town has still managed to survive to this date.

Dominic walked in from the front entrance of the town, where a pleasent atmosphere carried around in the surroundings.

"Anyone looking for a wizard in the party?" there were calls made here and there.

"A priest! We are looking for a priest!" another group called out. It was nothing out of the ordinary for a scene in Genesia.

There were of course, people who stood out in the newbie town. Experienced adventurers from around the world who had settled down here to train, teach or as a rite of passage. A town filled with so much difference, a person can't help but wonder about the state of things.

The adventurer guild was extremely large and took up the center of the town. It was designed in a sort of medivial style, where the walls and floors were solely made out of wood and stone. Remarkable engineering allowed for it to maintain its structure through years of beatings.

The door swung open, as Dominic headed towards the reception desk.

"A new face" the surroundings called out.

"Hello, what would you like to do?" like an automated machine repeating the same things over and over for the rest of its life as a job, the busty receptionist gave a business smile.

"Could I post a request? I would like someone to lead the way to the great sea of Galiol." Dominic asked.

"Of course, and for the reward?" the receptionist asked.

Dominic thought about it. He was on a journey to save someone called Issabella or something but he didn't really have a clue or a time limit. Perhaps if the reward was too high, he might be brought to a random place where he would be attacked instead which meant that he may be brought furthur away from his destination.

"Just leave it as uncertain." Dominic replied.

"Ooh? Alright then, that'll be 200credits" the receptionist said.

A piece of paper was printed from a rather normal looking printer, and pasted onto the wall of the quest notification board.

"Would you like to register as an adventurer?" the receptionist asked.

"I'll pass" he replied. Though being an adventurer did sound fun, he couldn't stick around here for long. Maybe next time. Dominic thought.

"For the time being, I guess I'll just walk around here" Dominic thought.

There was almost nothing to see at the residental areas, as Dominic took a look at retired couples looking the same age as their son, seeing the son off a safe journey to his adventuring trip.

Perhaps it was a normal scene. However Dominic had always found it rather wierd.

[Paradise Inn] A sign was hung up ahead.

"An inn huh?" Dominic thought.

The sun was setiting after all, perhaps this might be a good time for him to get a place to sleep.

However, to bash his hopes of experiencing a common adventurer's lifestyle, the inn appeared to be fully booked for the next few weeks as well.

He then tried all the other inns, and they as well, were full.

In the end, Dominic settled down by setting up his sleeping bag in a park.

He wanted to try out some local delicacies, but the restraunts appeared to be already full.

"This is all your fault Kitzuma" he heard a voice chided.

He noticed a group of 3 people huddled in their own arms and legs in the cold. A single guy who looked like he had been through too much to handle. And two females who could be in a better state if they became a model or something else instead.

"Well, who did you think spent all our money on booze?!" the guy exclaimed.

"This wouldn't have happen if you didn't make me depressed by telling me that I'm useless" the same voice unreasonably complained.

"Well, sorry to the great lord and saviour Perlin, who is a priest that can only cast attack buffs. And on the monsters we were fighting no less." the guy, Kitzuma replied.

"Its cold..." the last voice shivered in a corner.

"Pfft" Dominic unintentionally laughed . Thoese three were rather comedic. In response to this, the three could only shiver more and blush in embarassment.

Dominic took pity on these guys. Perhaps because they had somehow managed to ammuse him, he took a liking to these people.

He offered them a protable heater which he probably would never have a use for.

As though they had stumbled upon some holy grail, the three were seen fighting over that one little heat source.
