《They said I could become anything so I became a _____!!!》Chapter 37: The Guild

When I enter the city the only thing I can so is gasp. It is huge! I was imagining something like a cave but it is entirely different. They have remade the entire inside of the mountain into a city. There are entire beuildings made out of the mountain itself, still being parts of it. So many building… Or course not everyone are made out of stone, some are made out of wood.
The city is lit up by crystals growing from the ceiling, emitting a light similar to that of the sun.
When you walk through the gate you arrive at a small market where they sell things like potions, clothes, fruits and maps. The merchants are yelling out their prices and how good off a deal it is. I stroll around the market for a while, even if I know I can’t buy anything.
There sure are many people here. Most of them are humans and dwarves but I also see a lot of beast men. It is the first time since I got reincarnated that I saw so many people…
“Mistress, what should we do now that we are inside the city?” Rowan asks.
((I’m not sure. I said I would pass through but I can’t use Hypnotising Voice one everyone I come across when I need to pay something.))
“Bosss, could I ssugesst ssomething?” Morgana hisses into my ear from under my hood. It tickles.
((Of course, what is it?))
“From what we heard from thosse beasst men outssside the gate it seemsss like there is ssome kind of guild here. Maybe we can earn money that way?”
((Your right! Good thinking!))
“Hehe, thank you bosss”.
Joining a guild would without a doubt earn us some money. If they are anything like those I read about or used in games they should provide us a steady source of incom.

“But how should we find it?” Rowan asks.
“We sssimply have to find someone to assk, blockhead” Morgana answers.
Morgana is right. I look around and settle for a female beast man merchant selling potions.
“Ehm, excuse me” I say.
The merchant looks down and when she sees me she smiles and goes down on her knees, despite this she towers ower me. God, she’s tall. On top of her head I can see a pair of red cat ears, matching her hair.
“Oh my what a cute child~ Do you want to buy something, nyaa~”.
“Uhm no, can lady please tell me where the guild is located?” I ask, staring into her eyes.
“Of course darling! You just go down this street and turn left when you see the blacksmith. If you do that the only thing you need to do is follow the sound of fighting and you will arrive at the guild nyaa~~”.
“Thank you lady” I say, bowing slightly before heading the direction she told me too.
“That was easy” Rowan comments.
“Well it isss not like we assked her for her firssstborn child” Morgana tells him.
After walking for a while I arrive at the blacksmith the lady told me about and turn left. After walking for a while I start to hear yelling and swords clashing.
“Mistress, do you believe this is what the lady was talking about?”
((It sounds like fighting to me so probably.)) I decide to follow it, just like the lady said. The sound becomes louder. Finally I arrive at a building and over the building hangs a sign where it stands “Guild Building of Ozlem”.
((I’m here!))
I put my hand on the door knob and then- The wall besides me explodes. I stand still, shocked by what happened.

“Mistress, are you Ok!?”
“Mama!”
I don’t answer, instead I turn my head towards the now gone wall. Because of the explosion a cloud of dust covers a large area but I can hear voices from within it.
“Ya idiot! Look at what you did!”
“Me!? You fired the spell!”
“Well you avoided it!”
“I would have died otherwise!”
“You wimp! You wouldn’t have died! Grow some balls!”
It continued like this for at least a minute before the dust cloud settled and I could see two humanoid figures taking shape. One of them was a boy, maybe 16 years old, with long black hair in a pony tail and yellow eyes. He was dressed in black light leather armor and on hid back he had two twin daggers.
The other person was girl, the same age as the boy. Her chestnut colored hair barely reaching her chin and blue eyes glittering. Compared to the boy her armor was heavier, being composed of sturdy metal instead of leather. In her hand she had a large waraxe.
Both of them were currently standing pressing their forheads against each other, clenching their fists. If looks could kill…
“Now now, don’t fight” another voice suddenly said. A tall woman stepped out from the gap in the wall. I gasped. She was breathtakingly beautiful. Her silver hair falling down her back almost touching the floor, her fair skin and light green eyes. Dressed only in a simple dress made out of blue cloth she gave the impression of a queen from a foreign country. When the other two saw her they immediately stopped in their tracks and froze.
“L-lady Jeanette! This it not what it looks like!” They both said at once. They both seemed pretty scared.
“Oh really? Because to me it looks like the two of you had another pettyargument again causing partial distruction of the guild. Am I wrong?” she says while smiling. If not for the scary atmosphere one could almost believe it was genuine.
The two who were the cause of the damage looked down and shook their heads.
“Like I thought” the woman called Jeanette said while sighing. Then, with a swift moment of her hand, the debris laying around started to glow. Slowly they rose and started to re-attach themselves to the wall. After a few seconds the whole in the wall was nowhere to be seen.
Wh-what was that? A blue screen appeared in front of me.
//you have witnessed an unknown magic! Would you like to learn ot?//
… Yes thank you.
//Error! Spell can only be learned if teached by a caster of said spell!//
I stare at Jeanette. She is currently holding the two rascals in their ears, still smiling. This have never happened before. I always learned the spell without the need to have someone teach me. Who is she?
“Boss, I don’t know about thisss…”
Jeanette suddenly notices my presence and reales the boy and the girl.
“Sorry about that, I hope it didn’t bother you” she says, smiling. This time the smile is sunny and innocent. This woman is really similar to Julia-sama…
“N-no worry, I’m fine…”
Jeanette nods when she sees my hand still on the door knob. Her smile becomes even wider.
“Oh! Were you perhaps thinking about joining the guild? Well then, let me introduce myself” she says and bows. “My name is Jeanette de Sewun and I am the guild leader. Pleased to meet you”.
…. Maybe joining the guild will be more dangerous than I thought.

The Amazing Sidekick
Jack Snyder died on Earth during a car accident. Time went by, and he heard a girl’s voice calling Nozomu Shinchaku. Jack slowly opened his eyes and an unknown girl was crying in front of him, but everything about her was wrong. Long blue hair, yellow eyes, cat ears instead of normal Human ears. Jack glanced at her hand and saw sharp and long fingernails caressing his face. A fluffy blue tail was trembling behind her, signalling her worries. Jack saw a pool of blood on the ground near a rock, and he had a big bandage on his head. Strangely, his soul travelled to a young boy’s body, that judging by the pool of blood, died because of that rock. Now, he has to learn how to live in a strange Magical World as the Human teenager Nozomu Shinchaku that strangely can’t use Magic, and Magic has no effect on him. . “Definition of sidekick: - A sidekick is someone who goes with the main lead on their adventures. If he is a superhero, the sidekick helps fight crime. Sometimes this word signifies an imbalance of power, and it implies that the sidekick is less powerful than the main lead. - Sidekick is one of the most effective forms of attack in a street fight. Hard kicks especially to the knee can take a larger opponent down or at least blow out his balance, leaving him vulnerable to follow-up shots.” *I intend on keeping this story free till it's finished.*

The White Rabbit
In the Urillian Empire, the Empress Xandra rules three-quarters of the planet Xren from her home in the capital of the Earth Continent. Both the fire and water peoples have fallen under her might after a series of wars stretching back three centuries. Earth elves, under Xandra's rule, have spread throughout the planet and established colonies, and are, by all accounts, enjoying what seems to be a prosperous and happy existence. But not everyone in Uril is happy. The holy books speak of elves as the Chosen People of Thesis, tasked with guiding and protecting the lower races. For some people, this scripture has been interpreted to designate their life as one on the lowest rungs of society. Humans have been reduced to a slave class, and serve their elven masters under Xandra's rule, kept at bay by the constant fear of the dreaded Emerald Knight, and their own perceived weakness. Humans do not lead long lives, nor do they possess the wisdom, power, or magical acumen of their elven masters. But there is hope. A group of people have banded together to fight against Xandra, her Knight, and her empire. They call themselves the "Knights of Order" united under the principle idea that Xandra's reign has brought chaos unto Xren, and they wish to restore order. These Knights are led by a man named Xaxac Brigaddon, spoken of as a legend. They say that when the moons are full, some humans transform into powerful beasts. They say that Xaxac is the most powerful warrior on Xren, that in his youth he was enslaved and forced to fight other humans to the death in a bloodsport called "cage fighting", that he could not be touched and held the world championship title for three years running until he faked his own death and escaped his master to join the resistance. They say that he has friends in high places- noblemen, pirates, and the devil himself. They say that if you can find him, he can ferry you to freedom in places where the Earth Elves fear to tread. They say that he is immune to magical attack, and his eyes shine like the silver moon. They say that he is descended from Quizlivian Brigaddon, one of the humans who helped the demon Magnus escape a god. They say that if you want to walk the Path of Order, you should follow the White Rabbit.Come and watch the transformation from human boy to Knight of Order: The life and times of Xaxac OfAgalon OfLangil Brigaddon. Content Warning: This work is based on the real experiences of human trafficing survivors. Xaxac's origins are based on true events, and they are presented realisitcally; this includes but is not limited to: isolation, gaslighting, emotional and sexual abuse, and grooming tactics. This work is meant to hold a mirror up to society; it is based on the real of experiences of people who have experienced slavery and/or abuse. It is an adult work and probably should not be read by anyone under the age of 18. If you are a survivor of human trafficing and/or abuse, your feedback is welcome, but please do not read this if you think it may trigger your trauma. I did not write this with the intention of harming anyone, but rather to provide accurate representation for a group that does not normally get it in the hopes of changing the zeitgeist. I would like to see a world where more people understand what these experiences are like, so that real survivors do not have to deal with microagressions from an ignorant public. Reader discretion is highly advised.
