《They said I could become anything so I became a _____!!!》Chapter 35: Conflict

"Mama!" Balthazar exclaims, jumping around. Sometimes he stops to rub his head against me. He really is cute.
"Zar sssurely isss energetic today bosss" Morgana comments, hanging around my shoulders. She cannot slither as fast as we can walk, therefore I carry her.
Rowan mutter something, I can't hear what. I don't know why but for some reason he have been kinda cranky ever since I created Morgana and Balthazar three days ago. I thought he would get happy, getting to know other golems, but it seems like I was wrong. Well, hopefully he will get better soon.
Seven days have gone since I left the house. I don't know how far we have walked but I can imagine it's quite far. Sometimes my leg hurts when I walk for too long but I manage. We have passed through the worst part of the forest where the trees were 5 times an average man.
According to the feather minions we are getting closer to the outskirts of the forest and soon we will arrive at the foot of a mountain. What happens after we arrive I don't know, I guess I will have to improvise.
It's getting colder. My breath freeze when it exists my lunges and it's still only autumn! It's weird how fast time have gone in this world. It feels like it was just yesterday I got hit by that car and reincarnated.
While I don't regret saving a life as I died, I still miss my friends and family but I know I will never be able to meet them again, so why think about it and only to get sad?
Today I tried out casting Mana Dome for the first time when we took a break. The result was that I got surrounded by a see-through barrier. If I hadn't been the one casting it I would never have noticed it was there. The only thing revealing it's presence was a low humming sound resounding through the air.

I asked Rowan to attack the shield. He decided to start with Stone Kick. When it hit the shield only a loud clong could be heard. He then tried Stone Punch, this had the same effect as Stone Kick.
He the summoned the same sword he had used against the glutton trolls and swung it against the dome. This time what could be heard was not long but a sound similar to shattering glass. The sword buried itself in the ground beside me.
"Mistress, are you Ok!?" Rowan calls out but before he can make it to me something flashes by him.
"Mama!" Zar shouts, pressing his head against me. Giving out a whimpering sound.
"It's Ok Zar, look I'm not hurt" I show him my body. He calms down before he turns around and stares at Rowan.
"Rowa mean! Rowa tried to hurt mama!" I gasp. This is the first thing I have ever heard him say anything else than mama. I am so proud!
Rowan himself takes a step backwards in shock.
"I would never try to hurt mistress!"
"Rowa's a liar! Rowa mean! Rowa no get close to mama!"
"You little-!" Rowan steps forward lifting his sword. Oh-oh, this might get dangerous! But before I get the chance to stop him Morgana slithers between them.
"Calm down a notch, blockhead. To let a mere child agitate you like that... You ssshouldn't act like that in front of bosss, right?"
Rowan paus, then he lowers his sword while he at the same time stares into the ground.
"I am sorry mistress".
"It's not me you should apologize, to it's Zar".
Rowan flinches and looks up, staring at Zar. He goes down on his knee, bowing his head.
"I am sorry Balthazar for my insolence. I did not mean to nearly attack mistress and to behaving so unworthy".

His voice doesn't sound like he means it but I guess that is Ok for now. I look at Zar.
"Now Zar, do you accept Rowans apology?"
".. No" he says and runs away.
"Why you piece of-!" Rowan sets after him, with sword in hand. Even if Zar is more nimble Rowan is faster. Like this Zar is gonna die! I summon Mana Dome in front of Rowan, right as he is about to catch Zar. He crashes into it and falls flat on his back, but after a few seconds it starts to crack and gets destroyed. But this is enough. Zar rushes towards me, hiding behind me.
"Rowa mean! Rowa should go die! Zar hates Rowa!"
Rowan gets up and brushes of the dirt gathered on his body during the fall. He seems... Broken. I have a bad feeling about this...
