I'm sorry about not updating last weekend, the stats are a little mind whirling for me as I'm trying to keep the character sheet as up to date as I can. However this last Wednesday I lost my grandmother to Parkinson's and as one might suspect it hit hard.

I hope to manage at least a chapter update next weekend as I've already started that chapter before my grandmothers passing.

I felt you guys at least should know the reason for the lack of updates last and this weekend.

I'll leave you with a little lore of the world as thanks for everything so far.

It is often thought that the souls of heroes long past are special. Marked or chosen in some way. If one follows this idea then given that some of the most powerful natural or raised undeads that come from such a hero's corpse or even soul are without a doubt the most terrifying of the middle ranked undead.

Of course the greater undead ranks are more often very powerful beings already or brought into being through ritual or painstaikingly leveling them up to such a degree.

To upgrade your skill and useing them on already established minions to make them stronger for example. With what you did with this Vashanesh character I saw last time I checked on you for example.

That Vashanesh is clearly a well made undead and I saw you trying some new techniques on his body when you made him. Of course imbuing items of great power into a minion aids tromendously with their growths. What you did to your crows for example. That was a facinating little idea of yours to use soul crafting to try and mould the soul stones instead of creating them in the shape you wanted inside their eye sockets. Hm? Of course you can create soul stones. Huh? You want to know how to do it?

UUUrggghhh! Fine! I'll teach you that next time! NOooow let me finish. By infusing the souls stones into your ravens they have not only been granted spectral abilities which would have allowed flight but you also infused them with shaded souls, this allows for another advancement path that is rather interesting. I've never seen someone try both at the same time and actually succeeding. The backfire is usually fatal if done even the tiniest little mistake. Hmm perhaps it was the order you did it?.... I'll have to study it later.

Anyway what I'm trying to cram into your head is try to find powerful souls and the bones related to them and use them as materials for much higher quality undeads. I'll teach you how to create a soul stone next time. Shut it! Just listen to me. Use heroes, especially, as the materials for your strongest minions. The commanders of that idea you have in that brain of yours.
