"Little brother, let's go outside right now~ ♡"
My demon lord sister suddenly hugged me from behind, latching her arms onto my shoulder like a koala bear. Similarly, I could feel her voluptuous breasts pressing on my back. They felt so soft as I could slightly felt the protruding tips, which felt utterly erotic.
Is she not wearing anything underneath that white sundress...?!
I trembled and felt my cheeks grew warm.
"Ara, you're being so shy. I shall surprise hug you frequently."
I turned around, discovering a beaming Amae who poked my cheek repeatedly.
"Where are we going?"
"Somewhere that's special to me."
Somewhere special.
I wonder what place is that.
"When are we leaving?"
"Now!"
Amae clapped her hands together as a door-sized portal materialized in front of us. Its form was completely black and murky, preventing me from seeing anything beyond it.
"It's a surprise. Let's go, let's go."
With a gentle push forward, both of us entered into the unknown.
♦ ♦ ♦
Before I realize it, Amae was carrying me in her arms as we stormed through the skies. I felt the warm sunshine and gentle wind across my skin. Her majestic black wings were flapping magnificently, controlling the direction and speed. I glanced down and saw massive dots of green, with the palace becoming smaller and smaller.
We're outside?!
Although I was at least fifty stories high, I did not feel afraid. That was because I knew Amae would never drop me. I was completely safe in her embrace. Still, it felt embarrassing to know that I was being carried like a bride in the air, perhaps for the world to see.
"Enjoying the view?"
Her golden eyes glazed over me with pure affection.
"Yeah, it's such a nice day right now."
"You're absolutely right. And we shall have plenty of fun today."
The way she emphasized fun made my heart thumped nervously. Based on past experiences, her idea of fun was... interesting. The most recent one was carrying me on her shoulders while all the Commanders and Guardians cheered us on.
She really does treat me like a little kid.
Well, it's nice in its own ways.
An island gradually came into view. The water around was a visible turquois-blue, allowing me to clearly see the fishes swimming. Several hens flew beside us before we landed on the coastlines.

I never thought I would see the day when chickens fly.
There's so much about this world I still need to see.
As Amae carefully helped me stand on my feet, I marveled at my surrounding.
Amazing-!
The beach itself was dotted in an exotic mixture of white and black sand while the rocks floated in midair. I felt the constant breeze, carrying a subtle salty scent while the sea basked in sparkling white under the afternoon sunlight.
"What are we here for?"
Amae ran towards the sea and spun around elegantly. What I saw was an absolute goddess, in the form of my loving big sister.
"I-it's so cold!"
How long has it been since I last came to the beach?
"Come here~ ♡"
With a gentle plop, I was lifted up into the air by my arms. My big sister wore an expression of utter happiness. With a majestic spin, Amae placed my butt on her lap and rested my head on her breasts.
Our favorite position.
We levitated in midair, relaxing her feet in the water while I rested comfortably in her embrace.
"Take this, little brother!"
An orb of cold water was magically created from the ocean below and fired at my face. PAH! Before I could react, she grinned.
SPLASH!
I fell into the ocean.
"You asked for it!" I emerged and immediately began my assault.
After splashing water at each other, we proceeded to build a sand castle. With another thunderous clap, a mysterious portal appeared as she reached her hand inside, bringing out a picnic basket.
So that's why she wanted me to cook an extra meal yesterday.
We continue to make small talks until the sun dwindled in bright colors and eventually settle across the horizon. Amae stood up and looked off into the distance.
A feeling of melancholy filled the air.
"Two hundred years ago, I came to this island severely wounded from the First Continental War," Amae mused as the waves ebbed and flowed. "I was only a demon general back then."
I stood beside her and listened, doing what a good little brother should do.
"My body was cursed by the High Elven Mages, rendering my magic useless. With my wings broken and vital organs poisoned, I could not call for help or send a magic coordinate to my location. Missing in action, I slowly waited for my demise on this island."

She turned to me and smiled gently.
"But someone came to my rescue."
"Who?"
"It was a human."
Human.
The most inferior race in this world.
I never knew why Amae liked humans. As a demon lord, she was feared by many, ranking at the apex of the race hierarchy.
"She took care of me as if I was her own child." Small motes of warm light particles filled our surrounding. "With little resources she already had, the human offered me food and shelter. And in exchange? Absolutely nothing."
Suddenly, my perception of the environment shifted drastically.
We were in the same setting but the air was strange — grim and filled with turmoil. I glanced up at the sky, which was dark-red and ablaze with bloodlust.
Sensing my fear, Amae held my hand tightly and beckoned me to look ahead. I saw another Amae in the distance, who looked much younger and talking to an old woman wearing a modest brown robe.
"Amae, my time is about to come."
"Master."
The Amae from 200 years ago was best described as a young budding flower.
"Remember what I taught you for the past year."
"Yes Master," she bowed in reverence. "Thank you for bestowing me your wisdom and taking care of my wounds. I realized I need to stop following rules blindly and live the life I truly desire."
The Master nodded approvingly before coughing.
"Master!"
She held up her hand and said hopefully.
"Perhaps one day, the world will finally cease fighting and all the race could co-exist together."
"I will create that reality."
"Is that by your own volition?"
"War is hell," Amae spoke in an ironclad will, reminding me of the demon lord she will inevitably become. "Since coming here, I realized the dire consequences and if it continues, this beautiful world will reach its end. I decided that I shall create world peace and be the savior of this world."
"Then it's time for your final lesson — the Isekai Ritual."
The setting gradually faded back to the original environment. The sky was no longer crimson-red as dusk had fallen. As for the ocean, it emitted green sparkles which filled the air with nostalgic memories.
"I never showed anyone my past," tears filled her eyes as I wiped them away with my finger.
This beach.
It must be a truly special place for her.
"Thank you for showing me this special place and your past." I hugged her, "I'm sure your Master is proud of you right now."
She hugged me back tighter than ever.
"Little brother, I wish to tell you something."
I nodded as Amae revealed her inner struggles.
"There will be an upcoming campaign estimating up to two months. The war with the High Elves in the Capital of Jingling is finally upon us."
"Will you win?"
"I am unsure."
Her body tensed up, seemingly from memories of the curse. Thus, I hugged her tightly and cheered my #1 supporter on.
"I believe in you. After all, you're the supreme demon lord, Amae. My beloved partner and my big sister!"
A wave of intimate silence as we sat down and enjoyed the night sky. This was possibly our last moment together before she leaves.
I should let her know how I feel.
If not now, then when?
"I want to go campaigning with you."
"Little brother, it is too dangerous. What if someone were to hurt or kidnap you?"
"You'll be there to protect me," I instantly answered.
Amae tilted her head in contemplation.
"I want to be useful to you," I said. "Although I do enjoy taking care of the palace, I also want to see this world with you — both the beautiful and the ugly."
High Elves.
It's a possibility that the past will haunt her.
I need to be there for her when it happens.
"It'll be a perilous journey. You will witness the brutality of war — bloodshed, carcasses, famine, and even death." Amae spoke grimly. "I want to shelter you from such horror."
I grasped both of her hand tightly, intertwining her fingers to show how much my words meant.
"If that is the case, I rather suffer with you. Because no matter what happens or where we go, as long as I stay with you, I am happy."
