《The Hunter - Trilogy》Book Three: The Resolution 162

Simone sent out a generic call to any member of the Visidern race. It had been decades since the last time she had seen or heard from anyone of her species, since she had no personal family, so it hadn't crossed her mind until now to try and find others to join up with everyone on the colossal ship. She received hundreds of responses almost immediately, even though she hadn't mentioned the ship or her plans, then disregarded most of the messages. They were criminals and frauds looking for handouts and weren't even Visidern.
Zoe helped her set up a dummy AI to handle the message traffic and to filter out the garbage, then Simone reviewed the remainder. Simple questions that only members of her race would know the answer to, easily removed the scam artists. It took her a month to find a dozen people that wanted to talk to her, then she put them into a conference call and told them what she planned.
“We'll call you back!” They all said, almost as one voice, then they all cut the call.
“How much do you want to bet that they're calling a few other people?” I asked her from the doorway.
“How about a day's satellite fees that they're calling hundreds of people?” Simone asked with a grin.
I chuckled. “That's what I meant by 'a few'.” I said and moved into the room with Noma beside me.
“Oh! I see a bump!” Simone said and pointed to Noma's belly.
“It's barely there; but, I can feel it.” Noma said and gently rubbed the spot. “It's getting annoying having to eat Presence all the time, though.”
The Presence wavered a lot and both Simone and I rolled our eyes.
“If you're going to lie, at least try to say something that somehow resembles the truth.” I said and kissed her to give her another big dose of Presence.
“Mmm.” Noma said. “I'll think about it.”
The Presence wavered again and Simone shook her head.
“I think she enjoys the swaying motion that gives her.” Simone laughed. “Not me.” She rubbed her large belly. “I have to wait another two months for our little bundle of joy and Hen has restricted me to my room and lots of bed rest until then.”
“I know. That's why I'm here.” I said and came into the room.
“Hunter, you've got...”
I held up a hand to stop her complaining. “Not another word about me being too busy with everyone else to spend time in here with you.”
Can I just express it this way, then? Simone broadcast strongly.
“Ow.” Noma and I said at the same time and rubbed our foreheads, and there were a few answering shouts of surprise from the common living area.
“Sorry!” Simone said and hit the intercom button. “I'm sorry about that, everyone. I still can't get a handle on my own mental strength.”
There were a few grumbles, mainly from the irritable teenagers.
“Which was why both Hen and I said to take it easy.” I said as Noma and I sat beside her on the bed. “I know that's not what you want to hear; but, until you stop unintentionally borrowing our son's psychic capacity, you can't be using your mental abilities.”
Simone sighed. “I miss it.”
I chuckled. “No, really? Tell me something else I don't know.” I said and the Presence wavered.
Simone rolled her eyes and Noma let out a laugh.

“You just lie back and relax while I rub your feet.” I said.
“With one hand?” Simone asked and settled into the pillows she had propped herself up with.
“I can make as many hands as you want.” I said and gave her an award winning smile as I lifted her maternity dress up over her knees.
“Ohhhh!” Simone moaned and went a little, and I hadn't even touched her yet.
“She really needs some attention.” Noma commented and I nodded.
“I've been a little less than diligent in trying to maintain my distance.” I said and formed four Presence Hands to rub and massage Simone's feet. “Of course, I can't really... ah... have a lot of fun with her in this condition.”
“D-d-datapad!” Simone pointed to the datapad on the bedside table and Noma handed it to her. She turned on the wall display and it showed her on the bed and her underwear.
“You're such a dirty woman.” I said and Simone moaned again as she watched the screen and my hand moved her soaked underwear out of the way. She almost cried when I started to play with her.
“You better give me another dose.” Noma said.
I turned my head to kiss her and didn't stop using my hands. Noma moaned as I gave her a much larger dose than normal, which made Simone moan in response, then I went under her dress to give her some more direct stimulation.
“I can't believe... you still do that... with me like this.” Simone said between moans.
“Now you know why Gleas was always so happy when she was pregnant.” Noma said and that made Simone laugh, then moan, then finish.
I used Presence to catch everything and dissolved the mess, then fed the Presence to Noma.
*
That was the way things went for the next two months. Hunter worked in the mornings with Noma by his side, then he spent the afternoons with all the children, both the younger ones and the teenagers. Of course, the teenagers were getting Presence training while the younger ones were having playtime that was actually training. The teenagers only harboured some resentment about that, because they missed being able to just have fun.
Hunter knew this, so he made sure that once a month, they all took a 'vacation' for several days at one of the ship's many resort-like retreats. They weren't all the same, so it was always a fun time for everyone.
Simone had found a few hundred of her species that were willing to come along, even if it meant they would possibly die along the way. She assured them that wasn't going to be the case and urged them to tell everyone they knew that not only was there a place for them on the ship, there would always be a place for them... then she went into labour during the live conference. Everyone was shocked when her blanket was tossed aside and they saw her belly was about to burst.
“She'll call you back in a couple days after her son is born.” Hunter said and ended the call. Hen came in with a stretcher on a platform and Simone was quickly loaded onto it. She grabbed Hunter's hand and held on.
“We're right here with you.” Hunter said as he and Noma stepped onto the platform. It changed alignments to the ceiling, then zoomed them out of the living area and through the ship to the medical bay.
Hen had researched the proper birthing procedures and she knew exactly how to handle a baby coming out with extra arms. In less than an hour, Simone was exhausted, soaked with sweat, and had a huge bundled up baby in her arms.

“Simone, there's something I need to tell you.” Hen said, her tone a little worrisome.
“What... what is it?” Simone asked without taking her eyes off of the handsomest baby she had ever seen.
“It's... about his arms.”
“His name is Markus. Markus Simon Ignat Dominic Alexander Lynede Ullir.” Simone said.
“Well... it's...” Hen hesitated.
“I can tell her.” Hunter said and she nodded. “It's about his arms.”
Simone broke the gaze she had locked onto her son's face and stared at Hunter. “What about them?” She said harshly.
“Nothing unhealthy!” Hunter said to reassure her and she relaxed. “There's nothing wrong with them, and that's the problem.”
“I don't understand.” Simone said.
“May I?” Hunter asked and motioned to the baby.
Simone nodded and he took the boy from her and unravelled the wrapping. “I still don't see.”
Hunter chuckled and held out the baby's normal arm. The hand with four fingers and a thumb gripped his index finger. He held the baby with Presence and then did the same action with the extra arm on the baby's side. The hand gripped his other index finger with four fingers and a thumb.
“It's NORMAL!” Simone gasped.
“Yeah. Unlike your extra arms and hands with only three long fingers and a thumb, our boy has four completely functional normal arms.” Hunter said. “There will be no need for reinforcement training or worry about him suffering exhaustion from trying to use them. They are just arms.”
Tears came to Simone's eyes. “My baby is normal.” She said as she took him back and cuddled him to her breast with her extra arms. The little tyke started suckling right away, which pleased her to no end.
“That might be a problem when the other people of your race see him, which is why I'm worried.” Hen said. “He doesn't need to be ostracized for being different.”
Simone laughed. “Ostracized? He's going to rule my people with this big of an advantage!”
Hunter and Hen exchanged looks, then they had to laugh, too.
“Let us see!” Mina said loudly using Presence to carry it through the walls into the birthing section.
“All right, just a minute.” Hunter said and turned away to open up the viewing area's observation window that was only a few feet away. There was a collective gasp from the adults and the children pressed their faces against the glass to try and get a closer look. Oohs and ahhs came right after and a lot of baby talk to try and get his attention. He was eating and ignored it, of course.
“Auntie Simone has really big boobies!” Mina commented and pointed.
That made a lot of the adults laugh and every teenage boy blushed like crazy and turned away, then a few brave ones turned back. They didn't want to miss this opportunity to see something so nice.
Simone, even after just giving birth, was very turned on by all those thoughts.
Hunter reached out and touched her forehead, then rubbed his hand over the top of her head. Such a dirty woman. He thought to her and used Presence to help her hold that urge down.
Thank you. Simone thought, her mind back to its normal strength.
MILK! Markus shouted at the top of his mental capacity and everyone within twenty feet winced.
“Oops.” Simone looked down and her nipple had popped out of his mouth. “I better switch.” She said and turned Markus over to give him access to her other breast. He started suckling right away and Simone sighed happily. “I think someone is going to be a handful.”
“Four handfuls.” Hunter said with a smile.
*
Needless to say, once the members of Simone's race heard that she had given birth to a healthy baby boy, they were all on board with her idea to leave the well known parts of the universe to head to parts unknown. They were tired of being seen as parasites and the dregs of society, so the word spread far and wide to come to the Dizahl System.
Since they could stay in constant communication, their arrival times could be easily calculated. If I stuck to the original departure time, then the majority of them would miss us, by either a week or for up to two months. Some of them were quite far off and in another direction from our set course, so we couldn't even offer to stop in to pick them up. They said they would do everything they could to try and make the deadline anyway. If they couldn't, they promised to follow us.
I knew their ships would be taxed beyond their limits if they tried to follow, so I told them to do their best to reach the Dizahl System as soon as they could, then promised to send warship drones with repair droids onboard to escort them. When I ended the call, I asked Zoe to send appropriate drones and then Simone spoke.
“Hunter, there's no way that they can follow us on the trip in those beat up ships.” Simone said sadly. “When they reach the Dizahl System...”
“We'll greet them and welcome them home.” I said and she stared at me. “What? I'm not going to leave perfectly good drones floating around out here and not wait for them to return. Those things are expensive.”
Simone went through my mind and tears came to her eyes. “You want to give them a feeling of relief.”
I nodded and gave her a kiss. “So many people have let them down over their lives, so I thought that just once, why not let them see that someone actually does want them to succeed.”
“Oh, Hunter!” Simone said and kissed me hard.
“We'll even take Adona out to meet them, just so you can get that feeling first hand.” I said and gave our nursing son a kiss on the top of his head, looked at Simone with a grin, then kissed her bare breast.
Simone gasped at the touch of my lips, then smacked me with one of her normal hands. “Not while the baby's eating!” She said with a smile. “Wait until tonight when Lashina and Mina can babysit.”
“Okay, okay. I'm sorry.” I said to make the Presence waver.
Noma barked a laugh as she stepped close to us. “You're horrible.” She said and kissed me to get another large dose of Presence. “Mmm. You're still really tasty, even though you're constantly feeding me.”
“You know it.” I said, gave Simone another kiss on the lips, then left her to go back to my place. I stripped a nearly four month pregnant Noma and settled her onto the bed. “I'm glad you still feel up to doing this.”
Noma laughed as she rolled onto her side. “How else are you going to try to knock me out?”
I laughed as well as I laid behind her and slid in between her legs, then she moaned at the pleasant intrusion. I couldn't be as vigorous as we both wanted; but, she enjoyed it just as much, thanks to my liberal use of Presence and feeding her ability. She had started to notice that she wasn't quite getting it all during each feeding, which meant either her ability was being overfed or her baby was getting some of the feeding.
Noma was happy about that and made sure I knew about any changes in her condition. I appreciated her honesty and her willingness to do anything to make sure she kept the baby healthy, so I did everything she needed me to do or wanted me to do. She was the last of the women that desired to have a child with me, and I wanted her to have one.
It bothered me that I couldn't use Presence to check on the baby and had to rely on medical scans and check-ups to find out if anything was wrong or needed to be watched. There was nothing I could do about it, though.
We had sex for a while and then I gave Noma enough Presence to knock her out. I knew I couldn't leave her alone, just because she was unconscious, because it didn't mean that her ability was inactive. It was only suppressed and would be for several hours, then I felt a little bit of need coming from her. I gave her mouth a kiss and she didn't try to take any Presence, which meant that the need was coming from somewhere else.
I put my hand on Noma's slightly bulged belly and pushed Presence into her womb. It wasn't all absorbed as I thought it was going to be, so I reduced it to only a trickle and let the fetus take as much as it wanted. After ten minutes, the drain disappeared and I stopped giving the fetus Presence.
I hope you liked it as much as your mother does. I thought as I gave the belly a rub, then I cleaned myself up and snuggled close to Noma. I used several mental techniques to stay alert and went to sleep.
