Hey everyone, I know this is long overdue.
To get straight to what most of you care about: the story isn't dead. I took a break from this story but not writing (I will get to this later). Right after I post this chapter I am also going to post a rough detailed outline for my plan for the remainder of volume 2. I don't know when I'll actually get to writing out those chapters but I thought some of you might like to read more of the plot.
Recently, I've gotten into writing a novella I've had an idea for a few years. It's not even remotely close to this story or the LitRPG genre so it will probably never be posted on Royalroad. Anyways I'm going to stop my rambling and get to the point so that any of you stragglers that are still reading can click and read the summary. I think even when I get back in the mood to continue Jason's story I will stockpile chapters so that I don't feel overwhelmed. Also, I will slow down my pace and take a break again once I finish book 2 before I move onto book 3. If I've learned anything through writing this book it's that I love writing and love comes naturally so I shouldn't try to force my writing.
Anyways, I've missed you guys, I really have. It breaks my heart that I can't keep up like I used to but I hope that someday, sooner than later, we will be back to new chapters.
