Hey everyone, I know this is long overdue.
To get straight to what most of you care about: the story isn't dead. I took a break from this story but not writing (I will get to this later). Right after I post this chapter I am also going to post a rough detailed outline for my plan for the remainder of volume 2. I don't know when I'll actually get to writing out those chapters but I thought some of you might like to read more of the plot.
Recently, I've gotten into writing a novella I've had an idea for a few years. It's not even remotely close to this story or the LitRPG genre so it will probably never be posted on Royalroad. Anyways I'm going to stop my rambling and get to the point so that any of you stragglers that are still reading can click and read the summary. I think even when I get back in the mood to continue Jason's story I will stockpile chapters so that I don't feel overwhelmed. Also, I will slow down my pace and take a break again once I finish book 2 before I move onto book 3. If I've learned anything through writing this book it's that I love writing and love comes naturally so I shouldn't try to force my writing.
Anyways, I've missed you guys, I really have. It breaks my heart that I can't keep up like I used to but I hope that someday, sooner than later, we will be back to new chapters.

Some or all of those problems may be based around how to have a community barbeque when the nearest cow has been teleported to a few thousand miles away, along with the nearest supermarket. Join our protagoinst as he attempts to be a cool person, while everything falls apart. _____It turns out that any attempt to write a parody of the litrpg genre through overuse of the concept of leveling up inevitably fails when it turns out that *that is what the genre is based on*. Still, this was a fun little candy project of mine, and I might write more of it.

Hey everyone! Just a heads up. I am adding the Traumatising content tag because some parts might be considered as, well, traumatising. I want to point out though, it is not my aim to make a story that focuses on this aspect. Yuki is a college freshman that has been pulled into a fantasy world full of magic and monsters. Without any special talents, at level one, and with only a mere wisp as a companion he will need to figure out how to survive in the hostile environment. As he grows stronger and travels across this new world, he will find friends, make enemies, learn betrayal, overcome obstacles and grow into a hero. Hopefully. His goal? Have you seen the future? I have not, nobody did, no one can. I see...have you heard of apotheosis' prophecy? What about it? Many didn't take it seriously, probably because nobody could crack its mysteries, but the indestructible prophecy rock has recently crumbled. It is a sign that things will change. ...What did the prophecy say? Sigh, you really don't know anything. There was a furnace drawn on the prophecy rock. There were three objects in it, named meaningless crown, black star and incomplete cross. When three signs appear the beast will awaken. Has the meaning been cracked? There are many hypothesis, but nothing concrete. The first object could have relation to king of some sorts, but in this vast universe there are many worlds, counties and kings. Who can really guess its meaning? It can also be metaphorical. What about black star? They say the second clue leads to eclipse, but this also says nothing. Third one? Cross is the symbol of divinity. The cracked cross might mean a lot of things, like person who wants to go against progenitor's ideas and laws and forcefully achieve divinity...It could also mean destruction of divinity, but something like that should be impossible... You're overthinking things. How could gods stay idle if someone is threatening their reign?Also, even if somebody is forcefully awakening, the gods will be alerted by commotion and won't let it succeed... Say, do you think that awakening beast is the one who will try to become one of us? Most likely. No, it's hard to say. The prophecy can't be that simple. This is nothing but wild guesses from our side. Alright, let's stop with depressing stuff. I found a nice place not too far from my domain constellation. Really? What's special about it? Nothing we've not seen before, except for a rare delicacy. They call it chocolate. Oh? Is it delicious? Yes, much better than slime candies you've been fond of. Are you free now? Of course! Then it's my treat. Be careful though, the sovereign over there is a bit low key, but very strong. You need to get to know world's customs first, we don't need extra trouble. No problem.
