《I love this world (Complete)》Chapter 2.19 - The Breakfast and The Equipment

Hi, sorry this is half a day late. Wanted to make sure it did not leave out any detail, and also partly because I had trouble creating tables but gave up in the end. Enjoy.
Also, I've been getting several messages from various people about the inclusion of R18+ content in my FF. So I'll just put this out there now. I have no intention of including any Fap material in my FF, not now, not ever. I'm sorry if it does not suit your tastes, but i strictly feel that reading should be for the imagination and if u are just looking for Fap materials, there are plenty of other websites or even FFs on this website for that.
In the future, if there is any need for me to include sexual scenes, they will be kept short and ambiguous without going into any explicit detail.
Kiefer sat at the end of the large dining table, with Isana seated right next to him. The large clock outside showed 1400hrs, just 2 hours after sunrise on the surface. The elven maids laid out several dished in front of Kiefer and Isana. The breakfast was bought from a restaurant on the surface and brought down to the mansion while it was still hot.
Cooking was not a skill that Rashael paid any mind when he recruited the elven servants as Titans had no real need to eat for sustenance. As such, the mansion did not have a kitchen and the servants were all given meal breaks on the surface. Isana and Sher however, chose to eat despite not needing to just so they could have something in common with Kiefer. Meal times gave them opportunities to spend time with Kiefer without having to worry about other things.
The 2 Avian titans were seated along the table as well, but wthout any food in front of them. They did not understand the need nor the purpose of spending time to eat. The 2 girls watched intently as Sher wrapped herself around Kiefer’s wrist, making it seem like Kiefer was wearing a winged bracelet. She would snap a bite out of Kiefer’s plate every time he reached down to get a spoonful for himself. Watching the scene, Luna and Fiora just glanced at each other and shrugged, then waited in silence for the meal to be finished.
Finally, after a leisurely breakfast, Kiefer finally put his spoon down, and awaited for the elven maids to clear away the dishes. Then, addressing the group, he started off the reunion discussion about Drigor, his capabilities, motives and the plan moving ahead.
“Well, Let’s start this shall we? First off, hi Luna, It’s nice to finally meet you. My name is Kiefer. I’m Shearwood’s master and Isana’s compa—ooff!” Kiefer chipped, as Isana delivered a sharp kick to his shin under the table.
“Husband. He’s my husband” Isana cut in quickly, glaring at Kiefer before quickly turning and smiling at Luna.
“Why yes, I’ve heard a lot about you from Shearwood and Isana. It’s nice to meet you too, Isana’s compa—oof!” Luna winced too, as now it was her turn to be kicked by Isana. Kiefer chuckled silently at the scene of Isana being bullied. Her face was now construed into a frown and she was pouting.
“Since I’m sure Isana must have filled you in on the details about me and my plans, I’ll get straight to the point. Do you know what Drigor is truly after? He seems to be gathering power from the souls of the undead and warriors that perish in battle. However, I’m concerned that he has yet to make a move. If he was simply power hungry, he would have come after the other titans individually after he defeated Wanda. And yet he remains closed off, still gathering more power.” (Kiefer)

“To be honest, I don’t have a clue on Drigor’s plans as well. If he is gathering power, he must have some goal in sight for the power that he needs, like maybe to defeat someone or simply to control over the world. However, right now, the only one more powerful than Drigor would be Grandu, and I’m certain there is no way Drigor would go against Grandu, even if he had the power to.” (Luna)
“And why is that?” Kiefer asked, now sitting upright in his chair, placing his elbows on the table and cupping his hands in front of him.
“That’s because Grandu is like a father to him, just as he was a father to me too.” Isana supplemented the reasoning. “After Grandu and Gondor, Drigor, me and Wanda were born to the world. Drigor proposed raising us and teaching us the ways of a titan, but Gondor was against the idea of sharing the world with more titans. So Grandu defended the 3 of us and raised us like his children.”
“You say that like Drigor wouldn’t kill his own family. Have you forgotten the sole reason we are gathered here in the first place? You wanted revenge of Drigor for killing your sister. Maybe he has gone mad and is out to kill all other titans?” (Luna)
“Maybe he wants to gather enough power to be able to defeat all of us, at the same time without having to hunt us one by one?” (Fiora)
“No… that can’t be it. The way I see it, from the time I’ve spent with Drigor in the necromancer academy, Drigor is smart enough to plan at least 3 steps ahead. There is no way he would risk everything he’s worked for the past few centuries just to gamble it all on an all or nothing fight against every other titan at the same time.” (Kiefer)
“The other problem is, why did Wanda actively seek him out and attack him?” If Drigor was the one to initiate an attack, it wouldn’t have happened on his territory and He would definitely not have started out with Wanda first. He would have gone for Rashael first since he is one of the weakest Titans.” (Luna)
“Maybe Wanda knew of Drigor’s plans and decided to stop him before he got out of hand, but failed and made him stronger instead?” (Sher)
“No, it still doesn’t make sense. Wanda is the type to actively stop conflict, not start one. She would often break up fights between me and Drigor since long before we decided on our territories.” (Isana)
“So you are saying that Drigor wanted power and Wanda just happened to be the closest thing that was convenient for him and got lucky in a fight? That still brings us back to square one – Why does Drigor need the power?” (Kiefer)
“Maybe like you said, there was someone he needed to defeat? Since he had no problem killing his own blood sister, I’m sure he would be mad enough to kill his foster father. Maybe that’s his goal, to be the sole ruling titan of Aioa.” (Luna)
“Then I guess I don’t really have a choice anymore do I? I don’t want to lose Sher or Isana or anyone close to me in this world. I’m not from this world so they are pretty much my only family here. Regardless of Drigor’s aims, the result is still the same isn’t it? Drigor still needs to die. So shall we discuss our abilities and how we can make the best use of them?” (Kiefer)

Making a note of all the titan’s current combat capabilities, Kiefer now had a starting point for how to organize a coordinated attack on Drigor. The only request by Isana though, was that she would deliver the final blow. Kiefer decided the best course of action now, would be to wait for Rashael to return, then he would have another set of brains to work on it together.
Ending the discussion momentarily, Kiefer reminded the girls that they would be departing for Arigan once Rashael returns from his trip. He informed them that there are some history books in Arigan’s library that might shed some light on Drigor’s madness. He’s been through Rashael’s personal library but they were mostly books on magic theories and weaponry.
The girls then decided to take a tour of the city while waiting for Rashael while Kiefer stayed in the mansion, working on his new armour design. Sher chose to stay behind to make sure that the new set of armour still had her hiding spot.
The old armour was stiff, with the breastplate digging into his abdomen when he bent down, and also revealed weak spots when he moved his body in different ways. To make up for that, Kiefer melted down all the mithril parts of his pauldrons, breastplate and waist guards after removing the orihalcom. Using his mana to form a casting mold, Kiefer, with the help of the blacksmiths, poured the molten mithril into the large rectangular mold. Kiefer ended up with a large oversized raw mithril ingot.
The new design was vastly different from the initial one. After pouring his mana into the ingot, Kiefer mixed in a fair amount of crushed moonstone powder into molten metal. He had already experimented with this earlier and he found that at a metal to powder ratio of 70:30, the metal almost felt soft, like a hard rubber texture. This discovery was made when he designed Rashael’s armor as he tried to maximize mana storage capacity with optimal hardness.
At 70:30, the metal when pulled into thin threads had an elastic consistency, being able to be stretched even after it had hardened. The more mana is absorbed and stored the more elastic it became. Kiefer spent the rest of the day just pulling more and more of the mixed mithril thread. The girls had come back, only to find poor Sher sleeping outside the workshop door. Kiefer had requested to be left alone while he worked, so once again used to his antics, Isana took the role of bring food to Kiefer.
Kiefer worked through the night on his new idea. It was extravagant and far-fetched, but would be extraordinary in terms of performance and comfortability. By sunrise the next morning, Kiefer had worked for another 24 hours, finally finishing the first part of the armour.
Kiefer had manually woven a tight full body training suit out of the mixed mithril threads. It covered the entirety of his body, with the pants going all the way down to his ankles and shirt covered his wrists and neck. The mixed mithril fabric had a stiff and cold texture to it as it shined in the artificial light.
The silver suit was rather stiff, until Kiefer filled it with his mana. Letting his mana pour forth, the silver suit gradually turned into a grey coloration, a mix between the shiny silver metal and the matt black moonstone powder. Once the mana was poured in, the suit was comfortable and flexible. The mixed mithril fabric had a texture like Lycra and it clung to Kiefer’s body like a second skin. This suit was what Kiefer was going to attach armour onto.
With more raw mithril metal, Kiefer began working on the back of his armor. There were 8 major components which he was going to make in this order – spine hinge, abdomen plates, chest piece, pauldrons, upper arm guards, waist and thigh guards, shin guard and knee guard. Each piece was going to be woven directly onto the mithril skin with the exception of the armor for the limbs which would have the option of being removed individually.
The Spine guard was made by stringing together 15 U-shaped metal cups to form a sort of flexible silver trough that ran down from the bottom of his neck to his coccyx. It could bend flexibly as Kiefer did, trying it out by arching his back forwards and back.
To each side of the Spine guard, Kiefer attached plates of mithril that were 5 cm wide and curved around his body from the back to the front, bending downwards as the 2 plates from each side met in the front to form a V shape. The 2 plates were then sewn to the mithril skin on the front. Kiefer started with the bottom plates, just above his waist, and stacked more above, overlapping the layer below just by 1cm. He stopped just as the plates reached the height of his chest.
Finally, Kiefer moved on to the chest piece. Kiefer made 2 thick loops of mithril that intersected each other to form X shapes in the front and the back. Then, he positioned another piece of mithril over the front that had a chamber in the shape of a flat-top diamond to house mini-Sher. The large moon crystal he received from Rashael was positioned in the front of the chest piece, protruding out a little. He smoothed out the edges and sewed it onto his mithril skin, securing the X harness to his mithril spine guard.
The pauldrons extended from the main chest piece, looking like oversized mithril sleeves to an oversized shirt. They were fixed to the X harness and did not move according to his shoulder like in his previous scale mail design. He designed it to make him look like an extravagant general in a battlefield. From the bottom of each pauldron were 2 latches in the front and back, meant to secure the front and back pieces of the upper arm guards that would clip on and secure to each other, wrapping the upper arm while hanging from the pauldron to allow freedom of movement.
The waist guard was like a V frame that extended up both his sides while being secured loosely to the last V plate of his abdomen. The allowed it to swivel in any direction while hanging off the last plate. From the V frame, Kiefer molded a metal cup to protect his jewels that ran between his legs and up the back like underwear worn on the outside. Hanging from the sides of the V frame were latches for Kiefer to clip on his thigh guards from the front and back piece for both legs. Attached to the side of the thigh guards were 2 loops meant to hold weapons Kiefer had intended to make later.
Shi guards were simple oval plates that were rounded to wrap the front of his legs and sewn on to the mithril skin as a permanent attachment to the mithril skin pants. As with the Shin guards, the knee guards were made of overlapping mithril plates that were also sewn onto the mithril skin.
Finally completed, Kiefer realized he had lost track of time, only remembering Isana having come to force feed him several times. With this, he was almost done. He had one final idea to make weapons for himself. It would be 2 long swords, at least 1.5m in length each. One would focus on magical penetration while the other would focus on physical destruction. A pair of twin swords, one pure silver while the other pure black.
Naturally, the silver one was easy to craft, making it out of an alloy of mithril and orihalcom, with a final coating of mithril only. It was a one sided sword with no guard, the blade extending elegantly from the 40cm hilt. The hilt has finger grips and was wrapped with leather strips to increase the grip on the sword. The black sword though, was not as easy to make.
Barely managing to finish it before Rashael came through the portal, Kiefer spent almost 4 days making the black sword. It was the heaviest thing on Aioa, literally, and without Kiefer constantly maintaining a mana barrier around it, would warp spacetime around it. Kiefer had spent plenty of time researching the effects of his mana particles on the physics of this world and this sword was the culmination of all his effort, his research coming to fruition.
The first idea came about when Kiefer used his mana particles to control photons to turn invisible, then it dawned on him that he could control things other than photons, like quarks and electrons. Concentrating on the space and the air around him, Kiefer began ripping electrons from the atoms, creating sparks all around him, he then tore through the nucleus of every atom individually and rearranged the up and down quarks, creating a mass of neutrons only. Particle by particle, he stacked the neutrons quickly, eventually speeding up as he got used to the process. Gathering layer after layer of neutrons, the mass of neutrons began to take shape, being held up by Kiefer’s mana ropes.
Once he had the hilt done, Kiefer decided to take a break, placing the lump of neutrons on the floor, only to see it sink through the ground rapidly from its weight, crushing everything beneath it. Kiefer frantically picked it back up using his mana ropes and decided to just keep going with his neutron sword. In the end, the sword was so dense that it came close to becoming a singularity itself, had Kiefer not blocked its gravitational field with his mana. Absorbing photons to sustain the enrgy required to maintain the mana barrier around the sword, the sword turned void black since no light escaped from it.
Looking at Rashael stepping through the portal and watching the air and things light enough to be picked up get sucked into the portal to the vacuum on the other side, Kiefer grinned evilly, knowing his equipment have finally been completed.
Please tell me how the description for the armour was. If it is still unclear, I'll try to work on updating it. Besides, you guys can just wait for the illustration coming up this weekend.

Valor and Violence
Valor and Violence is a series of short stories following different, yet all equally colourful, characters set in the same world. Birth of a Legend, the first short, follows Captain Erskine Erwell, a newly promoted Captain in the Calandorian Royal Navy, charged with protecting his people from all who would do them harm. Great news for the Calandorian citizens, bad news for the Skjar reavers that ravage the shores in search of slaves. But when a small reaver fleet slips the net and escapes to the southern jungles of Marduk, Erwell must fight a war on two fronts; one against the raiders, and a far more difficult war against the hostile landscape. If he can't find allies in this strange land, he may end up being the one in need of saving. The first part of the second short story will be uploaded on Saturday, the 11th of June, following Ferez Ahud, an aspiring young battlemage charged with the unsavoury job of 'terminating' a rogue member of his college. But how this nobody of a mage became a fugitive remains a mystery, and when the answer is discovered, the tables are turned and the hunter becomes the prey. I'll be uploading chapters of more in-universe short stories each week or as close to, work permitting. Content Guidelines: course language and violence

8 148The Core of a Factory
An abandoned steampunk arms factory, in the middle of a conflict torn former state of the Empire it served, gains a soul. This transforms it into a Lord, capable of turning land into power. Beset by enemies on all sides it must figure out how to win the war its creators lost a century ago. This is a progressive Dungeon Core novel (which is to say the core will progress and expand in scale, eventually) across multiple dimensions with different characteristics (e.g. steampunk, magic, mythological). It has rationalist leanings (paragraphs of reasoning) and litrpg leanings (there are stat blocks). The core game mechanical idea is something like "what if different flavors of magic power actually did come from controlling land" and then the story is: "what if there was a flavorless (artifact deck) dungeon core". Chapters will be relatively short (my aim is that in three column format each would fit on a wide screen monitor), the first few chapters - setting up the main character and mechanics - are currently the longest in the entire series. I write chapters in blocks, and then release them one a weekday (M-F; 6 PM GMT, unless RoyalRoad's publish thing screws up) until I run out. There may be a few days of gaps here and there if someone finds an egregious error I have to re-write around or if I am behind. In general though one can read this once a weekend. I may do slight retconns and edits, I'll make sure to put it in an authors note if I do.
