《Kenosis of the Light Bearer》Chapter 25 - International Space Transportation Center

They made their way to the international space transportation center, quite a mouthful to say so it was commonly known by its abbreviation ISTC. There were various ISTCs all across the galaxy connecting the wormholes between each location to allow for lightning fast travel.
Wormholes made travelling faster than light possible but it would still take a few years to travel from one side of the galaxy to the other even using these wormholes.
The cost to open a wormhole was unfathomable. Even nobles wouldn’t squander that kind of money so freely so they would choose to catch one of the mega transport ships that not only carried goods but hundreds and thousands of people too. The price to board was incredibly steep but well worth it. They even had giant suites for the rich.
There was great entertainment and food, bars, casinos, pools, recreational areas and even an education center because sometimes the journey could last for years depending on their destination. It was like a giant sized civilization but on a space ship!
The ships would arrive once a month and make a round trip journey for the next 20 years. Picking up and dropping off passengers at the thousands of planets along the way. There were just over 2000 of these ships and each one housed an average of 10 million people on any given year, not including the 100,000 or so employees and their families that permanently lived on the ships.
Of course Lucif, Aruna and Ambrosia weren’t here to catch a space ship into the deep space they were here to catch a simple hovercraft to Enochian Academia. Hovercrafts here were a lot different than the ones from Lucifs world. The hovercrafts in his old world could hover above water and land but couldn’t fly high into the sky. But these ones could.

As they looked around they saw hovercrafts zooming in the sky, they were shaped like square lunch boxes. They could twist, turn, spin, flip, dodge and soar through the air like the laws of gravity didn’t apply to them. Their speed was incredibly fast, they were flying at 1000 km an hour.
A lot of hovercrafts could go even faster, but there were various restrictions and laws regarding this because at a certain speed they would break the sound barrier and end up annoying everyone.
Despite this many people still disobeyed the law, mainly boy racers. After all one of the most popular interplanetary sports in the Universe was ‘Sky Racing’. They had a huge following and could pull in a few hundred billion views every season.
Once the trio arrived they were shocked by how beautiful the place was. It was not only majestic but also very intrinsic and full of people. There was also a bay full of a few thousand hover cars which were often rented out by the people visiting this planet.
Lucif, Aruna and Ambrosia had often seen hovercrafts flying through the sky but they had never seen one up close like this. Their eyes were filled with excitement as they marveled at the shiny pieces of engineering and technology.
They continued on as they made their way through the giant ISTC building.
Lucif suddenly stopped and his mouth dropped open when he saw a green humanoid creature. It had long antenna, smooth green skin, big black eyes and floppy rubber teeth. It was sucking on a giant slug the size of a football while making weird sounds. “Glubber, glubber, glubber, slurp.”
“It’s.. It’s an alien!” He exclaimed. He knew that aliens existed but he had never seen one before. As he looked around he noticed that they were more numerous than the humans here. His eyes had been opened to a new world as he gazed around at the inhabitants.

Ambrosia grabbed his shirt and whispered in his ear, “Shh…Don’t call them A….The A word. They will get offended if they hear you and you don’t want offend everyone in this building do you?” Her warning came a little late as Lucif felt a thick tap on his shoulder.
He slowly turned around to find himself face to face with an Orc like alien. It stood no less than 7 feet tall, a real giant of a beast. It had saber like teeth protruding from the bottom of its mouth towards its two yellow eyes and grey green skin. Under it’s right eye was a long scar similar to old man Bucks’. He was wearing polished armor adorned with jewels, and in his hand he held a giant axe that seemed to glitter in the light.
His muscles were finely toned and his veins pulsed with power. His two big nostrils blew air at Lucif and threw his hair back like a spring wind. Lucif accidentally sniffed in the scent, he was expecting it to be putrid but it actually smelt like minty toothpaste. The Orc was staring daggers at him, this beast’s fearsome stare would frighten any normal human but Lucif wasn’t any normal human. He was a world renowned Olympic gold medalist!
But, he didn’t want to be impulsive. He wouldn’t start trouble without a good enough reason to do so. So he started to apologize.
“Sorry there my friend, I didn’t know Alien was a derogatory term for your kind.”
“Areeegh! Your kind? Your kind!!” After the Orc heard Lucif’s word he thought he was mocking him and lost it. He lifted his axe high into the sky and slashed down, killing intent clearly present in his eyes.
Instead of his apology fixing the situation, it seemed to have made it worse.
‘Ah, what’s going on? I’m usually good at talking to people. Is Alien really such a taboo?’ He thought to himself.
He easily dodged the incoming strike, grabbed the axe in the Orcs hand and flipped his body over onto its blade landing cleanly on his two feet. The weight of his body unbalanced the Orcs grip and he dropped the axe onto the ground.
Clunk
Lucif tensed his fist and withdrew his hand into his waist and punched with 100 percent of his power. His fist flew towards the Orcs stomach but the Orc pulled his arm up to block. He was obviously use to street fights but it was of no use. Lucif wasn’t aiming for his stomach, how could he pierce that thick and heavy armor? He couldn’t unless he was superhuman. In fact the punch he threw just now was a feint; he was aiming for the Orc’s wrist.
Boom, crack.
