Hello! Are y'all ready for an adventure to the time of the dinosaurs? Messummer is a spin-off story of Through the Wormhole. While the plot's gist is the same, it has been slightly changed to fit the short story genre. I decided to write this for my Capstone Fiction Writing Class Spring 2022.
Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved dinosaurs, and I've always wanted to write a story about them. The original draft for Messummer, which I wrote in 9th grade, was my guinea pig for writing about prehistoric times and putting my geological research to the test. Messummer's story has changed over the years, and I'm still trying to find it to this day. This has always been one of my favorite stories, because it sparked the birth of my very first sci-fi novel, Through the Wormhole itself.
I don't see a lot of stories written from the perspective of a Quetzalcoatlus, the largest flying reptile ever to zoom across the Mesozoic skies, so I decided on this approach. I did try switching back and forth from Messummer and Dan's perspective, but at the end of the day, I always come back to Messummer. Her name is a mixture of two words: "Mez (Mesozoic Era) and "summer", the season. I have always loved her as a character, and I cannot wait to share her story with you guys. Have fun with this story! Hopefully, it will re-spark childhood memories of The Land Before Time and Jurassic Park. Dan, PPMC, Messummer, and I wish you luck for the journey ahead.

Of which humans would hopefully be no exception. “Because I’ll be damned if I spend the rest of my days talking to goddamn squirrels.” No, if there were humans on this mudball, he was going to find them. One way or another.

This story is aboutt 7 teenagers that think that there is a better life, a better world then the one that they live in. But you wold think that it was all wrong, that there is no other world that could replace this one. But this story is not about facts and legends, it’s about this other world, this other dimension that you would never know was there. It’s about how these seven young people came to find this world and what they found in it was nothing that you could believe could happen... The main character is a dipshit and he has friends that hang around him for some reason maybe because he is special. :-? He wishes to be somewhere else like in a set of big plump breasts. Instead he ends up in a world where the lizards breathe fire and have wings... Well he's fucked (the characters have not much of a description. so I have created the characters so that whoever is reading this can imagine what the characters look like for themselves. I have done it this way because I find it easier to imagine the characters facual apperiences when I read a book and I do believe that other people would agree with what I have said.)
