After leaving the Adventurer's Guild we go and borrow a room at an inn.

(Lilith) "Now that we have the opportunity to assess everything. Let's start upgrading."

(Rosa) "Upgrade time!"

I take out my dagger, kodachi, and Rosa took out her sceptre. I grab my dagger and cut off my arm, I then regenerate it and cut it off again. I do this another three times. There are now five arms on the table, one for the dagger and two for the kodachi and sceptre. Hm, the onyx on Rose's Sceptre doesn't provide much use besides appearance, is there a way to improve that? I wonder if we can try this, I take out the magic stone of the hydra from before. I hadn't eaten it yet, I wonder if an S-Rank magic stone will provide benefits to the onyx.

Rosa prepares to start creating new items. First is the dagger.

(Rosa) "Alchemy!"

The materials glow and float, they break into a million particles and slowly merge. The dagger that appeared had a gold-colored handle, and a pure black blade.

Next was the kodachi.

(Rosa) "Alchemy!"

The same thing happened, and the kodachi that remained had an intricate black handle and black sheath, I unsheathe it and the blade is pure gold-colored.

Finally was Rosa's sceptre. Unlike the previous items, this one is combining an extra item which is the magic stone.

(Rosa) "Alchemy!"

The process was the same, the staff that appeared was still pink, but more bright pink, the sceptre looked more intricate, there were black engravings on the sceptre, and the onyx at the top was glowing and in the center of the onyx was Rosa's symbol. Nice.

Lilith's Dagger

A dagger made out of Lilith the Doll of Death's Star Metal. It's linked to Lilith, it's part of Lilith, it can use the effects of Lilith's skills, it can be called back to her from anywhere. When equipped +15000 Attack.

Lilith's Kodachi

A kodachi made out of Lilith the Doll of Death's Star Metal. It's linked to Lilith, it's part of Lilith, it can use the effects of Lilith's skills, it can be called back to her from anywhere, MP can be used to increase power and sharpness. When equipped +25000 Attack.

Rosa's Sceptre

A sceptre made especially by Rosa for Rosa. Isn't it pretty? I personally believe it's beautiful. When equipped spell power increases by 80% and spell cost decreases by 40%, a magic barrier protects Rosa +35000 Defense.

Really amazing! But, what is with Rosa's sceptre's description. Who writes the descriptions that they actually just only complement Rosa's sceptre instead of describing it. At least they wrote the effects.

My weapons can use my skills? I grab the dagger and let go, it floated in midair, I see. I make the dagger teleport around the room using Phantom Step. Although it's cool, there isn't a good use yet, since I only have Levitation I can't make it move around smoothly in midair, it just floats. Maybe if I ever get Flight this will have more use. The kodachi can do the same things. On the cool side, I can create a bunch of floating shadow copies of the weapons, I can scare an opponent with it which could be good for a laugh.

Looking good, nothing new, besides Asura from that boss fight. After giving everything a check through we leave the inn and explore the capital, we found the Colosseum where the tournaments will be taking place in a few days. It's gigantic, it's about half a kilometer in diameter, and the walls are at least 200 meters tall. They must've made it this big for some of the big monsters that live here, like dragons. We walk near the entrance and here is the registration for the tournaments, we sign up for the Duo and Solo Tournaments. We don't qualify for the Team Tournament which requires five members.

We arrive at the Commerce Guild, why are we here? To buy a house. Why? Why not? What else will our mountains of cash do? Inside I see a section labeled Real Estate and head there.

(Receptionist) "Welcome. Are you here to purchase a property?"

(Lilith) "Yes. We have a budget of 40million jin. What is a good place we can get that?"

(Receptionist) "40 million jin!? How'd you acquire so much?"

(Lilith) "We sold an S+ rank monster with some B-A+ rank monsters."

(Receptionist) "Ah, you two must be the source of the giant influx of materials including the Supreme Abyssal Hydra. The craftsmen department had a field day when those materials got here, the bidding war between the different craftsmen was quite fierce. Since it's probably just you two living in the house I can show you a good house near the nobility district but isn't in the district. The house's quality increases the closer it is to the nobility district."

He takes out a map of the capital and points to a house that is near the Colosseum.

(Receptionist) "This house was built very exquisitely by someone 150 years ago. They already passed away and his descendants became nobles and moved to the nobility district and just sold the house to us. We've made sure to keep the house in pristine condition. It was made using enchanted marble and adamantite for walls, floors, and support. The windows are made of sapphire glass. The man who made it was an absurdly wealthy and successful merchant who died of old age. He lived to be 450 years old. He was one of the first merchants in Monstro. The reason this house is vacant is that nobles don't like the location, and the normal citizens can't afford a house like this and feel uncomfortable living inside it. The house has a cost of 55 million jin."

(Lilith) "55 million jin! We don't have that."

(Receptionist) "Yes, but I noticed that you are made of very high-quality metal."

(Lilith) "I see where this is going. I'm made of Star Metal."

(Receptionist) "Star Metal! How much can you spare?"

I take out my dagger and chop off my arm ten times.

(Lilith) "Here 10 arms of Star Metal."

(Receptionist) "Allow me to call an appraiser to validate that is Star Metal."

After about a minute another person came and confirmed that it is Star Metal.

(Receptionist) "Star Metal is absurdly rare, even in our warehouse we only have a piece the size of a fist. Just five of your arms covers the cost of the house, for the ten arms, we'll give you the house, a full set of furniture, and 40million jin."

(Lilith) "Keep that 40million jin and provide us a free cleaning and up keeping service."

(Receptionist) "Deal. With 40 million we can provide the maintenance service for 200 years."

(Lilith) "That's fine. We can always just sell more Star Metal for cash in 200 years."

We sign a contract and acquire the deed to the house.

(Receptionist) "Hahaha. I can't wait to see the faces of the craftsmen department when they see all this Star Metal. I might get a promotion for having struck this deal."

We leave the Commerce Guild and walk around for a few hours before going to the house we bought.
