Since Lil Sis and I were just far stronger than any monster that lives in this cave we decided to ditch our bait trap strategy. Now we're just on a killing spree throughout the place causing panic in the dungeon. We've been doing this for a couple of days, it's very fun.

Yeah, we went a little overboard with our massacre. Well, no harm done. While walking around the deepest part of the cave we found a pair of big doors. Is this a boss's room? This will be a fun battle. All the normal monsters are too weak and useless now. After beating this boss we'll leave the dungeon and explore. We both step toward the door and I place my hand and push.

Meanwhile, while the two had their killing spree, developments happened in a nearby town called Novican.

Novican Adventurer's Guild

(Adventurer A) "Have you heard the rumors?"

(Adventurer B) "What rumors?"

(Adventurer C) "You mean about the two monsters that are going on a rampage inside the Novice's Cave?"

(Adventurer A) "Yeah, that rumor, apparently a lot of Rank E monsters are now appearing earlier in the dungeon due to them running away from the two rumored monsters. From what I hear those that saw the two monsters from a distance say one looks like a little girl made of stone, probably a unique golem that spawned, and the other being this black colored slime."

(Adventurer D) "Yep, those are what they look like, my party saw them while exploring, we saw the Golem kill a Small Drake in a single blow and the slime blow the head off a Demon Snake with one spell. We were terrified and ran from there before they could spot us. Monsters that can do things like that to a Small Drake and Demon Snake are either Rank D and higher or are powerful Unique Rank Es, the latter being more likely due to neither of the two being of a recognizable monster type."

(Adventurer B) "Hah, I bet this situation is giving the Guildmaster a pain in the head. Now that the dungeon beginner's go to is far riskier or almost impossible."

(Adventurer E) "Oh, haven't you guys heard a Rank E Demon Scorpion actually left the dungeon trying to get away from the golem and slime duo. It gave all the adventurer's near the entrance a fright and everyone teamed up to kill it."

(Adventurer C) "Damn really! The Guildmaster is definitely going to do something now or he will lose it. Hahahaha!"

Another spot in the Adventurer's Guild

(Chase) "You don't think that golem in the rumors is that right?"

(Emily) "I believe we agreed on pretending it never happened."

(Dave) "It seems that puppet evolved into a Unique. It sure is keeping itself busy. Since unique monsters are usually intelligent it seems through sheer luck two spawned in that dungeon and have teamed up."

(Chase) "At this rate, the Guildmaster will definitely put out a subjugation request on those two but with their power and the fact the two are always together, that request will have to be at least C-Rank, and that is implying a C-Rank party, a solo C-Rank can't win. If it was only one of them perhaps they would have a chance, but both? Sorry, that isn't happening."

(Emily) "Well, it has nothing to do with us, we are merely a Rank-D party."

(Dave) "Yeah, we just enjoy the show of what is to come."

(Chase) "sighs"

Guildmaster's Office

(Novican Guildmaster) "Ugh. Why did two unique monsters have to spawn in the Novice's Cave!? And why did they have to team up!?"

(Guildmaster's Assistant) "Well unique monsters are fairly intelligent, both monsters decided to go the route for highest survival possibility. It's even easier since it's a slime and golem since they don't need to argue about splitting food since golems don't eat."

(Novican Guildmaster) "I get it but it is still very inconvenient. sighs Now I have to get a Subjugation Request ready with a suitable reward just so C-Ranks actually bother to accept the request. D-Ranks would just be committing suicide trying to subjugate the two. A D-Rank won't live a magic spell that can blow off a Demon Snake's head, a monster that has some resistance to magic with its scales."

(Guildmaster's Assistant) "Indeed. The problem is there aren't really any C-Rank parties in town they are all off in cities that are near better dungeons or in a stronger dungeon a few days travel from here. We would have to wait a few days for any to come back."

(Novican Guildmaster) "Ugh! Why does this have to be my problem? Can't they just leave the dungeon and go somewhere not in my jurisdiction?"

(Guildmaster's Assistant) "Well with the two monster's power they should be reaching the limit of what that dungeon can provide them and will probably leave soon."

(Novican Guildmaster) "I hope so. sighs"
