《GENE Project: Path to Perfection》Chapter 26: Divine Vision

When Aman left the room, he hissed at Nama under his breath. “What’s this about the dreamland and Spirit dimension? Why didn’t you tell me?”
[I told you before that my memory is encrypted with different densities of nano-photons. I probably have all of this in my memory bank but we are too low level to contact this. We need to cultivate quickly to get to the second level of soul density.]
“So, do you think that I should go to this Spirit Dimension and check it out?”
[Of course. We should at least see what the rewards for winning are. You have some spare cash from selling your agility genes but that won't get us very far. I know what you are thinking… that she probably has a way to track the rank of the card and that if you grow too fast then anyone who sees the rank, she or her father, can grow suspicious of your reason for success. But that won't be a problem.]
“You have a solution?” asked Aman surprised. “I thought that you knew nothing about these things.”
[I don’t but that doesn’t mean that I can’t extrapolate a solution from given data. The girl said that the dreamland is entered in the state of deep sleep. I can put you in a state of deep sleep. Problem solved. You are probably the only one who can enter the dreamland without any other device.]
“Wait… Hold your horses. She also said that the dreamland is a really erratic space and that anything can happen and people can easily die if their luck isn’t good. Didn’t you hear her say that the machines they use at Indian Institute of Eugenics have a safety measure where they can wake up the participants when they show signals of danger?”

[I can help with that as well. The one who will be in the dreamland will be you while I am still awake in your body. As your soul is connected to your memory, I can see what you see in the dreamland and when you are in a tight spot, I can wake you up. It’s almost as if I, in fact, any nascent soul is built specifically for dreamland exploration.]
Aman thought about it for a while.
“That may actually be it. You know about the legend of the blind King Dhritarashtra?”
[From the Epic of Mahabharata?]
“Yes.”
[I do. What is the connection? Oh. I see. You mean to speak of his charioteer Sanjaya and his Divine vision?]
“Speaking to a mind reader is really convenient. Yes. Dhritarashtra, King of the land of Kuru was offered Divine Vision by the Sage Vyasa. But since he didn’t want to see his children fighting with his brother’s sons, he asked that the vision be bestowed to his charioteer Sanjaya so that he could narrate the events of the war to him.
“Don’t you think that the name of the upper dantian being the third eye chakra in yoga and being associated with Divine Vision which could be used to see extremely far objects without any hindrance from obstacles is a quite telling clue?”
[So, you mean that the ability Divine Vision utilised the dreamland as a medium to peek on stuff happening far away?]
“Yeah. Since we already have our upper dantian cultivated, can’t we try this out? It would be such a huge advantage. Imagine sitting in a room and being able to monitor everything in the city. Tech isn’t advanced enough to block nano-photon based espionage… we could get filthy rich with this.”

[I see that you are determined to skip classes anyway… so do you want to go to the arcade and test this Spirit Dimension out first or go home and check out the dreamland.]
Aman checked his phone.
“Nah. Going home this early will worry ma unnecessarily. Let’s check out the Spirit Dimension. It is the training ground for entering the dreamland after all. It’s better to go step by step. As for Ananya monitoring me? Let her. I think it will be good to show her some measure of our progress. Enough to think that we are worth investing resources in and not too much that she thinks that there is something fishy.
“But before that. Won't you be detected by the Spirit Dimension device since it works on nano-photons?”
[That is actually a matter of concern. It shouldn't be able to since my nano-photon signature is exactly the same as yours but who knows? But rest assured. I can temporarily switch myself to hibernation mode until you wake me up again. Then it will be like I don’t exist at all. So, if I detect that the scanners of the Spirit Dimension machine are too powerful, I will let you know and hibernate. Otherwise, I can probably enter the Spirit Dimension along with you and provide assistance as there is no need for someone to stay out and act like a wake-up switch.]

This is my first ever story. One that I’ve been wanting to write for awhile. The system is most definitely inspired by Randidly Ghosthound and The New World, but I promise the story is different! Please point out any mistakes, as I’d love to improve! Also the warnings are just to let me experiment.
