《Reborn as a nine-tailed fox [Rewrite]》The Room

In the Ice corridor, Nevada was sitting on the ground, leaning against the wall and looking at Eleanor, who was hugging her knees. She raises her eyes and asks"Why are you still here?"
"Because I can't move yet."he replies to her.
"Wh-....Ooh I see."she mutters, when she notices the red bloodstains on his white coat and the circular hole in the middle of the stain.
"Let me guess... You can't use [Light Magic] to heal yourself?"she asks him, while looking at him.
"Yep."he replies and looks at her with his blue eyes.
"And can't you just fly away?"he asks her after that.
"I was in my phoenix form for too long, so now I'm stuck in my human form for at least the next forty hours or so."she answers him. Understanding her, he makes a slight nod and the two look at each other.
Somehow, the hate between the that they had before was seemingly gone and they just sat there and basically did nothing. As the time passed, they still didn't move.
Eleanor was thinking anf Nevada was trying to heal what he could by circulating his mana around the wound. He had no idea If it would work and so, he just did it while hoping it would work.
"Why were you away for over five thousand years?"Nevada asks her, trying to start a conversation, as the silence is getting annoying a little.
She looks at him with her eyes so black, that it is very difficult tell apart from the iris and the pupil. She lets out a sigh and says"I was put here and made to guard some kind of object sealed in this place."
"Who forced you?"he asks her.
"I don't know exactly. He calls himself Lucifer and appearantly he sealed something of his here. I don't know what it is, as I can't get into the room, where it is sealed."she tells him.

"Huuh."he lets out and leaned his head back. After a minute, he looks back at her and asks her"Want to find out what it is?"
"Sure."she replies"But what makes you think you can enter the room?"
"Honestly... Nothing. But it's better, then sitting here on our asses."Nevada tells him and she thinks for a few seconds, before replying"Sure. Might as well try. I want to see the thing so importand, that I had to guard even after everyone I knew was killed."
She pushes herself up and walks over to Nevada. She streches out her pale slender arm and Nevada grabs it. Immediatly, he is pulled up, with him making a slightly painful face, and he is being pulled up.
Now that he is on his feet, he says"Lead the way."
"Then follow."she replies and starts walking, with Nevada following after her. But before that, he grabs the sword from the wall.
As they were walking, he asks"Also. Why did you attack me?"
"Kitsunes and Phoenixes are natural enemies. Our races have always been at war. Neither side even remembers why they were fighting."she explains to him.
"And out situation now? We are friends or what?"he asks her and puts his hand over the wound.
"Right now, we are just people. My race is extinct and I am the only surviour. You are a cursed kitsune, who probably is looked with hateful eyes by many. And our current situation is shit too. So I seriously don't want to fight. I want to get out of here and see, what has changed after I was put here. If possible, find all of the bastards, who slaughtered my people and are still alive."
"But as for what we are....I don't know. Two people, who just talk...I guesss?"she tells him, what she thinks.

"Well your plan sounds bloody...But I guess we are just people, who just talk...For now."the last part is said silenlty.
As they walk through the Icy corridor, they reach in front of a huge set of Ice doors. They look at it and Eleanor says"Here it is. Try If you want?"
"Okay."he replies and puts his right hand on the door. Immediatly, darker shade of blue lines start coming out under his hand and they start to spread out on the door. The lines form a complex pattern, before hearing a unlocking of a lock sound.
Nevada takes off his hand and says"It's open."
"I guess you were the one, who is worthy to unlock it."she mutters and watches, how he pushes the two doors open, revealing the darkness inside of the room.
"Ooh well."he mutters and steps into the room, but before Eleanor could enter, the doors slammed shut. Nevada looks at the door and knowing the cliché event, he won't even try to open the doors.
'They won't open, until I complete some trial or shit.'He think, as he barely could see in the darkness.
After unknown time, he has walked so long, that he can't tell anymore how long he has been walking.
After a few more steps, everything lits up and now, he can see the room made out of ice, with an altar made out of Ice in the center of the room. He turns around and sees the door, he entered through, there.
"Oooh fuck you."he curses, as he sees the door.
He then turns around and stares at the altar. On it, he sees a katana in a white scabbard. The hilt of the sword has a white diamond patters and a white guard. Under the sword, he sees a necklace with a black string and a small piece of ice blue crystal attached to it.
As Nevada looks at it, he feels how it drags him towards it and telling him to take the sword. With each step, while he can't control himself, he gets closer to the altar.
His hand is pulled towards the sword and the moment he touches it, he can feel cold running through his body and he feels, how something is changing. He feels how his body is broken and rebuild over and over again.
All of the breaking, causes a pain so immense, that he drops onto his knees and is trying his hardest not to fall any lower. With all of his strength, he supports his body with his hands, as he feels his body freezing.
'the pain is too much.'is his last thought, before collapsing on the floor. Even though he is unconcious, the change doesn't stop for a while. And when it is done, Nevada had changed.

The Discarded
The Umbrae Lunae existed before man, beautiful abominations birthed in the nightmares of mad gods. They wait for humanity to misstep, for the angels to look away. For the moment when they can cloak the world in moon shadows once again. But even horrors have children. Even nightmares must feed. One child, unlike the others, finds his way to a school for young abominations. Will he be a sheep cast before the wolves, or a terror that wears the skin of wool to entice the wolf close? The flesh of his body was his only coin, strips cut to pay debts that never ended. Everyone has scars, stories in a life led, lessons learned, and licks taken. Luminous bodies touched by darkness. There are a cursed few that are the opposite, black shadows consumed by scars, twisted minds devoured by diseased hungers, bodies tortured misshapen works of gouged flesh, silver lines of blade thin cuts, ragged tears of teeth and glass. For them, the scars are marks of homecoming, the mangled wasteland the only place they feel at peace. Hell is a place. It's made of concrete, steel and glass. It's the sounds of starving kids crying themselves to sleep, huddling into small balls as creepers come and take their due of innocence and tender meat. It's eating rotten food and carrying ticks in your hair. It’s having no one and nothing while surrounded by everything. It's the life of a street kid. What abomination was birthed in the corrupt womb of man’s cast-off shit? Pretty people don't know the power of ugly. They can't see the strength in a broken soul or the power in a calloused heart. Those secrets are for the discarded alone. Only the broken understand the grace of darkness. The blessed folds that hide scars and tears, the protection of its concealing umbra.
