Chapter 37
“Uh… Ah… Uh...”
Staring wide-eyed at the woman, Zairen attempted to respond, but flubbed over his words. How was the woman conscious? She was just about to succumb to the Dragon Poison, yet with only a couple hours of the Heaven Divine Healing massage, she was able to regain consciousness? Although the massage technique was miraculous, it wasn't that God-defying!
Suddenly, he recalled that to cure the woman, he had stripped her naked and had massaged her bare legs. Although it was to cure her, would the woman understand? His face quickly paled, and his body involuntarily trembled.
“Who are you?!” The woman angrily demanded. “What did you do to me?!” Her fists clenched menacingly, causing Zairen to involuntarily shudder.
“I’m… I’m… My name is Zairen… Zairen Ki...” Zairen said, not daring to hide anything. He paused to nervously cough. “I was using the Heaven Divine Healing massage technique on you to try to heal you.”
“Heaven Divine Healing massage technique?” The woman furrowed her brows.
“Yes, it’s a very rare rejuvenating massage technique that I’ve learned,” Zairen hurriedly explained. “It can alleviate nearly any pain and cure most injuries. Your body was succumbing to the Dragon Poison, so I had no choice but to act quickly…”
“Wait,” the woman interrupted, her face in a bewildered expression. “Dragon Poison... You recognize my poison?”
“Of course!” Zairen hurriedly leaned forward and confirmed, taking this opportunity to explain himself. However, the movement was too fast and sharp, causing him to freeze and wince in pain.
Mistake! He was still incredibly injured!
After breathing heavily for a few moments, he slowly leaned further forward and began to speak again. “It’s Dragon Poison! You were writhing in your sleep, so I was trying to help alleviate the pain.” He hesitated for a moment, thinking of a way to state his next words. “That’s why I was…” He glanced away. “...massaging some of your parts.”
The woman gave a sarcastic smirk.

“Oh, really?” She gestured toward her calves. “Is that why you stripped my clothes and were groping my legs so lewdly? Don’t try to deny it! You know, young boys shouldn't be so perverted!”
“...wh-what?! ...no!” Zairen panickedly refuted. “I… I’m a doctor! I wouldn't possibly have thoughts like that! And if you’re doubting whether the massage was effective or not, just check your body! How else would you have regained consciousness?”
“Doctor?” The woman scoffed. “You can be considered a doctor?”
Zairen bit his lip. That’s right, he did appear to be very young… “Just… Just because I'm young… doesn't mean…”
“Well...” the woman interrupted. She pondered for a moment and then nodded her head thoughtfully. “You were able to recognize the poison I've been inflicted with so easily. And the massage you gave seems to be pretty effective.”
Zairen’s expression suddenly lifted, his face becoming hopeful.
The woman lifted her head. “However, even if that is the case, you still dared to strip me naked when I was unconscious! You know, it’s not good for children so young to be so lewd!”
“No…!” Zairen’s face immediately became panic-stricken, and he started to babble panickedly. “It’s… I… The massage has to be on the bare skin to be most effective! I truly didn't have any ulterior motive!”
Why did it seem like he was being scolded like a disobedient child?
“Oh really?” The woman’s eyes narrowed even further.
“Yes!” Zairen desperately restated.
He suddenly thought of something, and hurriedly spoke to change the topic.
“I also have concocted a large amount of Dragon Poison Antidote pills for you that, although will not necessarily cure your Dragon Poison, will at least help alleviate it! I think they could be very helpful to you!”
“Huh?” The woman raised an eyebrow. “Dragon Poison Antidote?”
Inwardly, hearing those contradictory series of words, she scoffed. How could there be a Dragon Poison Antidote? Dragon Poison was a notoriously incurable poison! What, was this boy some sort of groundbreaking genius sage spirit doctor?

“It’s true!” Zairen asserted. “They are in stored in the jade containers near the edge of this space we are in.”
“I’ll see about that.” The woman’s figure distorted for a moment, and when it became clear again, she was holding all of Zairen’s jade medicine-holding containers.
Zairen couldn't help but let out a breath. What speed!
“Which one is it?” The woman asked.
“I made many of varying potencies,” Zairen explained. “The one on the very left is only 2%, second to left is 10%, and third to the left is 20%. I only made one of the third one.”
“You’re not lying, are you?” The woman asked Zairen suspiciously. “Are they some kind of poison?”
“Wha…? No!” Zairen hurriedly denied. “Why would I try to poison you right after trying to save you? Besides, anything I could make would pale in comparison to Dragon Poison, so there wouldn't be a point.”
“Hm. “ The woman felt that this logic made sense. Thus, she immediately took out one of the 2% potency pills and shoved it into her mouth.
A few seconds later, she felt a small soothing feeling in her stomach. It lasted for only a second before immediately going away, but just this one second was enough to prove Zairen’s words.
‘...no way!’ She instantly became excited.
Although it was very slight… The poison was clearly affected, at least by a very tiny amount! It seemed like these pills were actually, at least minutely, effective against her Dragon Poison!
Immediately, in front of Zairen’s widened eyes, she poured out the rest of the 2% potency pills and shoved them all into mouth.
“Good…” The woman laughed. “Very good! Even though you’re a little pervert, it looks like you’re worth something, after all!”
“Uh…” Zairen was speechless. However, he felt relieved. At least she wasn't angry with him anymore!
“My surname is Sue, by the way,” the woman told Zairen. “You can call me Madam Sue.”
“O-Okay, Madam Sue,” Zairen hurriedly agreed and bowed his head. “Thank you for your kindness.”
As he let out of a deep relieved breath, in actuality, he had many questions. For example, what had happened to him? Where was this woman from? What had happened to her?
But now was not the time. At least he was living with the skin on his head!
“How did you get in here anyway?” Madam Sue suddenly asked.
“Hm...! How did I get in here?” Zairen was a bit taken aback.
“Yes.” Seeing Zairen’s nervous reaction, Madam Sue’s voice suddenly started to turn harsh. “How did you get into this interdimensional space?”
Zairen paused for a moment, thinking about how to choose his words. “Um… well, as a spirit doctor, my spirit energy control is really fine… Because of that, after repeated experimentation, I was able to create the spirit energy key layer required to unlock the interdimensional space in the ring.”
‘Repeated experimentation?’ Hearing those words, Madam Sue couldn’t help but narrow her eyes.
Using repeated experimentation to unlock the ring… Did this little boy really just say that?
How would that be possible? This interdimensional ring was an extremely rare and secure spirit item!
Yet, thinking about it, she reasoned that he must have been telling the truth. How else would he have gotten into the space?
But if it was true…
Madam Sue’s eyes widened. That was a crazy degree of control of spirit energy!
Glancing at Zairen’s face, her expression suddenly turned ugly, and her eyes narrowed menacingly. “Don’t you worry, little lech. I’ll make sure to straighten you out!”
“H-Huh?!” Startled, Zairen straightened up and turned white as a sheet.
“Kek.” Seeing Zairen’s newly panicked expression, Madam Sue couldn’t help but snicker.
Thus began the long and complicated relationship between Zairen and the infamous Madam Sue.
