《Land of Ilragorn》Chapter 33-A goal... I guess.

"You have killed Flame Lioness Entity #81955725027543815" "You leveled up to LVL 91" "Would you like to use Copy Entity Number LVL 5?"
Yes.
"Used Copy Entity Number LVL 5." "Gained 4031 DEF, Gained skill Circle of Stun LVL 1."
That’s a relief, I thought I would get the bone skill.
It’s fire went out when it died.
I put it in the magic bag, it makes a sucking sound as it goes in.
The things I’ve put in this bag haven’t been this large, the slurp surprised me.
Then a dragon popped out of nowhere, roaring his lungs out, probably telling its siblings the battles over.
Well that’s my cue to leave, I don’t want to find something stronger than this thing here, she was really strong, not strong enough to kill me for a while, but it was the most challenging battle I’ve had so far.
I fly off, flying high enough that nothing can jump and try to get me.
The boat was immediately leaving, and I almost missed it, but thanks to flight and my ‘friendship’ with the captain, I got on.
“You back.”
(“Yes.”)
“Did you fight.”
(“My most challenging fight yet.”)
“Who?”
(“A flame lioness, she was alone, but she had the power to manipulate her bones, which was probably harder than metal.”)
“A flame lioness?”
“Bones harder than metal?!”
With that, a brutish looking guy with a mohawk stepped up.
“You aren’t talking about the lioness that destroyed that army, are ye?”
To the brute, (“I don’t know, did it manipulate its bones, and have a fire mohawk.”)
“So you do talk in my head, and a fire mohawk?”
(“The same hairstyle as you, but on fire.”)
“All flame lioness’ have fur like this, but if it controlled bones, then if you killed it, you would be saying that you did something one of the princes' platoons couldn’t.”
(“Well it’s dead, if you come to the guild you might see its corpse.”)
“Who are you.”
“Are you talking to bird?”
“Pardon my manners, my name is Ulrich, no last name, but I’m kind of an information broker, now, can I get a definite answer, did you kill the flame lioness 'bird'.”
(“Three cinds”)
“Excuse me.”
(“I’m bartering, three cinds, I think it seems reasonable.”)
“Hardly, that’s a meal.”
(“Two cinds.”)
“Okay here,” he got on his knee and handed the money to Kritir (The boy and younger twin).
“Okay did you kill it.”
(“Yes.”)
“How.”
(“Now that’s personal information like my skills, that’s off the market.”)
“*Tch*, well is it damaged, did you kill it without injuring any part of the body.”
(“I cracked its bones and burned it a little, why is that important?”)

“You cracked a bone manipulator’s bones, those scale with 1.5 of its defense, what LVL was it.”
(“Around 80.”)
“That means its defense was around 5500, that’s insane, what LVL are you?”
(“Nunya.”)
“Nunya?”
(“Nunya Bizness.”)
“He got you.”
“You got got.”
“I got- got?”
“Yes.”
“Kids, whatever, I got my information. I guess I’ll see it later.”
(“Hey, I’ll give you two cinds for the information about the flame lioness destroying an army.”)
He stares at me, “This is a business, I need a little more than that.”
(“Ok, then you can go.”)
“What, what about the information you need?”
(“I don’t need it, I’m sure I’ll hear it all for the next week, I just thought you might want your money back.”)
“Come on, I don’t need the money that bad, I have plenty of clients.”
(“Okay, see you later then.”)
I’m not a businessman, but I know how to trade without losing anything, no matter what he goes with, in this trade I will win, with two extra cinds, or information.
“Are you sure you want to let this deal pass.”
(“Sure.”)
“Your loss.”
Not really, I got two cinds.
He walks off, obviously bothered on how I didn’t crack, but I was content.
The boat gets to the port, I say goodbye to the captain and twins, then headed to the guild.
The guild has some familiar faces, the guild master in particular.
“You’ve come back, you must have killed it, just as I was raising the quests rank to S."
(“It was S-Rank?”)
“It’s LVL wasn’t, but bone manipulation wasn’t on the table, and the prince sent his platoon at it while we didn’t know anything, the prince sent a platoon full of water mages at it, then got most of them killed.”
(“So I took down an s-class monster.”)
“Yes.”
(“Does this mean I’m S-class?”)
“Well let’s see the body.”
(“Come outside.”)
The body is too big to fit inside.
“Okay.”
He got up and started walking, people started to follow him.
I led everyone outside, and then plopped it on the ground.
“It’s definitely a flame lioness, but let's see, its bones went back into its body, hey you there, Rodrick, punch its tooth.”
“Isn’t that disrespectful?”
Rodrick was a little guy, not a dwarf, with arms and legs wider than his head.
It’s not that his head was small either, his limbs were just that muscley.
“It’s dead now, it won’t know.”
“Well… okay.”
He walked up to its head and people opened its mouth for him, then he pulled his arm back into position.
He then launched his arm into its tooth and made it move a couple feet, and with a crack, his hand was broken.

I went over to see and to heal his hand.
The guy was crying so I knew it hurt.
I healed his hand and looked over.
Not a scratch where he impacted it.
He was definitely strong, because he was a LVL 50, but the Lioness was just tougher.
“Did you use a skill, Rodrick?”
“Buff Up, and punch.”
“Not even a scratch, this thing took out a hundred people in one fight, I can see why if they did no damage.”
(“So am I S-Rank?”)
“Well it is dead, and not damaged that much, and you seem fine, did it injure you at all?”
(“Not really, I’m fine.”)
“Well everyone looks like we have an S-Rank monster Adventurer.”
“Wait what.” “Just like that.” “But he’s a monster.”
Of course, they wouldn’t accept me, well it doesn’t really matter, the only difference is that I’m getting more money.
*Clapping*
It is the male guild guy, I think his name is Phylic, he is clapping.
His applause makes more people join in, then more people, then the entire guild starts clapping.
This is the first time the entire guild has praised me, I’m just in shock, I don’t know what to do.
“Show us you appreciate it somehow at least.”
It was the female guild person, no name needed.
I snap out of shock and bow, it’s really the only thing I could think of.
“Looks like you have no idea what being S-Class really is, do you.”
(“It isn’t the same?”)
“Nope, now you report to the king, you can do whatever you want, unless the king says you can’t, save up money and then live a happy rest of your life, but if we go to war, you’re either protecting the king, or you’re on the front lines, depending if he likes you or not.”
(“So, now I’m your boss?”)
“It’s more like, you’re so strong that we can't stop you, and if we made you mad we would die, we have had people like that, the king has changed many times in history, if you are stronger you may challenge the king to a deathmatch to become king.”
(“Why would I want to be king?”)
“For the right to do whatever you want?”
(“Didn’t you say I could do that anyway?”)
“Well yes, but, you know what, what’s your goal?”
(“What?”)
“Your goal, what do you want to do with your life, become a king, though you would be our first monster king, you could live a quiet life, when you accepted my quest, you didn’t seem excited or nervous, I couldn’t tell what you wanted, that’s what’s been bothering me the most.”
(“I don’t have one, I guess, I’ve mostly been going with the flow.”)
“Then make one.”
(“Why I’ve been fine.”)
“No one is okay without a goal, you need something to work for, then something to work for after that.”
(“I don’t know, I‘m less than half a year old, I guess surviving for a year is good.”)
“No that doesn’t work, I mean work towards becoming the best at something.”
(“What, like a god?”)
“Yes, become a god.”
(“What LVL is a god.”)
He hesitated, “Umm, the last one that came here was LVL 1000.”
(“Okay, I’ll go for that.”)
“Wait, that’s achievable for you?”
(“Only one way to find out.”)
“So you’re going with the flow again.”
(“Yes.”)
“So, you are not gonna try, but you feel it will happen.”
(“With all the trouble I get into, sure.”)
“That’s not a goal if you aren’t sure it’s gonna happen, then you are just trying to appease me.”
(“Yep, see you later.”)
Incha POV
It’s been four days since we’ve been tracking the filolials, but it’s weird, they usually have no destination and walk randomly, this time they’re going straight, as if they know exactly where they are heading, and they haven’t stopped.
I know they love him, but how would they know where their son is, did he get a child tracking skill when he became a parent.
I don’t know because I’m not one, but that doesn’t make sense, well finding both of them would be a dream.
We just got them back and then they ran away again.
But I don’t blame them for trying to get to his child.
“Hide!”
We all jumped into a bush, a dragon flew above us, looked like a lightning element, rare.
Ruekra is the best tracker out of all of us, Url is the strongest, and I’m a translator, I’m kind of the odd one out, but they don’t seem to mind.
The dragon left and we made it to the edge of the forest.
A huge dry grassy area spreads out in front of me.
I almost walk forward, but I get stopped by Url’s arm.
He looks at Ruekra first, “is it safe?”
“Definitely not, but they ran right into it, in a rush too, they did stop here, but they started running here, must have sensed the danger as well.”
“Should we do the same?”
“Doesn’t look like we have a choice.”
“Well, running is what we do best.”
“See you on the other side.”
“Eat my dust,” he then runs ahead.
Then both of us run after him.
