《Land of Ilragorn》Chapter 22- The Chase

I really needed more than a ‘that way’.
The forest doesn’t have any big landmarks, just trees, some rubble from fights, and rocks, I notice flowers here and there, but if you wanted to get lost in this place, it isn’t hard.
So that’s the situation I’m in, I’m lost.
This is kinda a first for me, I’ve never really had a chance to explore, I haven’t done much since getting to Ilragorn but fight, train, and wait for the next fight.
I’m not really a battle junkie, but I’ve started to just expect that the fight will come to me.
Now that I’m looking for someone it’s really weird.
I’ve had four dragons try to attack me, all of them were medium size, bigger than me but smaller than normal dragons, it wasn’t a fair fight, they each died in one hit.
But afterward, I hear multiple roars, in every direction.
Kinda ominous...
I feel bad for the big guys, I mean they started it, but maybe I should turn off status hide, then they’ll know not to fight me.
But it will hinder the time till I get status disguise, a super rare skill apparently, maybe if I set my status to LVL 999 nobody will try to fight me.
I got one LVL in Dragon’s Beak, I guess it was kinda worth it, not really.
I need to take death more seriously.
Anway, a fifth dragon appears.
They all looked like T-Rexes with wings, but this one was more menacing than the rest of them.
This one is green and has a wide stance, its large, leathery, bat-like wings raised, a big head close to the ground, you can’t count the number of teeth, small brown eyes, but they are also focused.
I use analyze on it…
“Target: Brute dragon LVL 14 Titles: Mature, Determined, Martial artist
That’s straightforward, he actually knows how to fight.
Of course, it’s not like I’ll rush him because he knows how to fight.
It’s my policy to strike only after they try to strike me first, though I made it two days ago, it’s a pretty good policy.
The dragon waiting for me to come to it stays in its stance.
So I keep walking.
It looks at me confused but does go away.
Looks like I’m just in its territory or something, it’s just protecting something.
I move on but hear just one roar, it was coming in the direction of the one I just left.
Then the gentle breeze around me changed, the breeze turned to wind and the trees around me swayed back and forth under the pressure.
I look back and see a huge dragon, similar to the others, but three, no four times bigger, and both of its eyes are crossed out with scars.

I see it and dash.
There isn’t a real reason why you dash, you see something scary, and your body reacts.
Just so you know, I’m the size of a four-year-old, that dragon is the size of a dump truck standing on its back.
I’m not about to win against a dump truck, never mind one that breathes fire and flies, maybe if there was one thousand of them, but not now.
I jump over branches, pass trees, dodge rocks, and activate speed and buff up, also mind acceleration, but it’s no use, the dragon flies in front of me.
It stops, turns around slowly, to see me running in the opposite direction.
Just because it’s in front of me doesn’t mean I can’t turn around.
However, in my fear I automatically used analyze, a really bad mistake.
"Target: Kung Fu Dragon LVL 98" "Titles: Determined, Martial Artist, Styled on them, Blind, True Vision, Mother of Five, Teacher."
I ran twice as hard when I saw the 98 in its name, and then it knows kung fu, I’m out.
The dragon chased after me again, but this time I’m staying low to the ground.
This way I’m harder to see, I wish I had invisibility, that would make running a whole lot easier.
How does it even see, it has no eyes to see out of.
I guess true vision has something to do with it.
Anywho, the dragon easily gaining on me, so I start evasive maneuvers.
I turn a couple of times, left, right, right, left, right, right, left, left, it doesn’t do much the dragon easily keeps up with me.
When the dragon was literally above my tail, I stopped, it flew over my head but quickly turned around.
I quickly, before she turned around, kept running in the same direction.
That way when she turned around I wouldn’t be there.
I quickly hide in a bush, stop breathing, and look at the ground in front of the dragon.
I did this because when you breathe you still have visible movement, and some people can sense when something's eyes are on them, so I don’t look at them.
The dragon quickly turns around again and stomped on my bush.
I would be dead if it wasn't for mind acceleration, I jumped out as soon as it puts its eyes on me, which was milliseconds before it stomped.
How did it see me, it’s not like there is a trail it can follow.
Does it have a skill that tracks me, I mean it can, but not likely.
The dragons getting to close, I can run for longer, but eventually, it will catch me.

I keep turning, doing anything to get it off my tail.
But then the one thing that could stop me did.
The first thing deserving of being called a landmark appears, and it’s a big one.
I run into a mountain.
The dragon lands and covers my escape routes.
My mind's racing so fast looking for a way out, but everywhere I look is being taken over, until I look…
Up.
I jump, then fly, faster, then faster, I need to go faster.
The dragon was definitely surprised, it took it more than a couple of seconds to realize that I was flying, but it took flight after me all the same, and it’s like comparing the speed of a fly to a falcon.
Unlike I who uses my MP to fly, those giant wings catapult it into the sky, after me.
I feel it’s approaching, so I start to go diagonal, but its huge maw opened and if I tried to dodge I couldn’t get out of the way of those teeth.
Then something fell off the mountain.
The mountain wasn’t terribly tall, it was only a couple hundred feet tall, but that would surely hurt.
The figure picked up speed, diving, until it barely missed me, and crashed like a comet onto the dragon.
They both hit the ground and made a thud that could surely be heard for miles, making a huge dust cloud in the forest, but what followed was much louder.
“Quiet! My student is training! Do you have no dignity, monsters will surely come over here to see the noise now! Go away and be quiet!”
“But master you are louder than they were,” a voice said from the mountain summit.
I look up and see Invisibrat, he didn’t change much, but he seemed to glow more.
“Shut up, if I see you one more time you’ll have to hunt your own dinner!”
“You already make me do that.”
“Then I’ll make you hunt my dinner!”
“Again, you already make me do that!”
“Shut up and hide!”
“Okay, remember your promise.”
“What promise?”
Invisibrat went to go hide further into the mountain.
“Stinkin brat, needs to respect his elders.”
That freaking cliche line snapped me back into reality and I started descending.
“Excuse me for my insolence powerful filolial, but I did not mean to disrupt your disciple's training, I am going for another one of them, he killed four of my children while they were out getting their daily quota of kills, I know a common training method, but quite effective. I need that red and black filolial, I need revenge for my children, may I be permitted to go into a sacred duel with him.”
The dust cloud dissipated and a scene I never thought I would see played out.
The dump truck was doing dogeza in front of an ostrich.
The bird had little feathers on its head if any, but unlike an ostrich, it’s feathers were yellow.
The bird had its tongue out to the side and its eyes were squinting as if it couldn’t see in front of it.
I used analyze on it and was severely surprised.
"Target: Lightning Royal Instructor Filolial LVL 183." "Titles: Tired, Loner, New Start, True Vision, Flashing Fowl, Good Teacher, Grumpy old man." "Analyze LVL 7 has leveled up to LVL 8."
What part of the forest did I end up on to get all these high-level monsters?
I haven’t seen a single lightning type monster yet, isn’t lightning one of the strongest elements in games, why haven’t I seen a lot of them.
“No, go away, don’t bother us!”
“But my children, four out of five of them, should I just stand and act like they didn’t exist.”
“Do whatever you want, if your children were willing to take lives then it’s only fair if they got their lives taken instead, just go away.”
“What should I tell my last son, I can’t tell him his sibling were killed without revenge.”
“Tell him whatever, now in the words of the dungeon in the east, Bippity Boppity, get off my property!”
“You can’t be serious, give me my children back!”
The dragon stood up and towered above the old filolial.
“No, I’m not serious ma’am, would you like me to become serious?”
Bloodlust started pouring out of the old coot, so much so that a dragon in the background trying to sneak up on the other dragon turned around and started running away.
The dragon fell over backwards and tried backing away.
“No, good, now shoo, leave me and my disciple as we have much to talk about.”
The dragon looked over at me and glared, “I’ll get you, one day,” and ran off.
As soon as the dragon left the filolial quick as lightning was in front of me.
“Now who might you be my Precious Disciple.”
His sheer power terrified me, but a witty comment never escaped me “Ur mom.”
