《Land of Ilragorn》Prologue

Hi, my name is Sam Avem. I'm a semi-otaku, and I usually spend my time playing online games, reading manga or hanging out with some of my friends. My parents practically begged me to get out of the house for a bit and do anything involving physical activity. They even said they would pay for it. Well, I've never been one to refuse free stuff, so I decided to go to a popular spot near my area and paid for a cheap hang gliding session.
I've always wanted to go hang gliding, but I've never had the money, thanks dad. The instructor told me to make sure the tip of the hang glider didn't go too far down and just to run down the mound in front of me, and to slowly lift my feet off the ground. I made my first mistake when I was about to jump and also discovered a fear I never knew I had. I looked down and I was terrified of the height. The thought of crashing, the wind blowing against my face, and the distance I had to travel made me sweat, and my legs shaky. I nearly collapsed on the ground. I was about to ask to stop and to just go home, but the instructor pushed me.
No warning, he just pushed me and the momentum in the push was enough for me to run down the mound and lift my legs off the ground. The wind was in charge now. My first thought was "when this is over, I am going to deck him in the schnauz." My second thought was "ajkanduaifshjauijsknfajkfhajdhkhsfkahfajksdfhajklfajkhjasfkhasjdfkasdhfkaaaaa." The wind caught the hang glider a second later after the second to last "a" and for a moment everything was bliss. It was near noon so it wasn't a sunset in the background or anything like that, but it was kind of serene, like nothing in the world could hold me down.

Then the wind hit, and I don't mean a breeze that could maybe move a toy wagon a couple feet, I mean a wind that could topple over your plastic toy house over on it's side. It knocked me over so I was diagonal in the air, so I tried to push down on the bar to balance me out, but I pushed to hard and started to spin. The height aswell as my weak stomach had just about made me lose my senses. I closed my eyes, trying not to wet my pants, then I noticed that I was increasing speed and opened my eyes to see the ground. The next thing I know, I'm in a warm, wet, dark and small space, like it's too small for me to fit in. I try to move around and then hear a cracking sound, then my small space filled with light.

The Edge of Endless
Due to some unforseen and significant life events, this story will be on hiatus for a time. Reborn into a strange but familiar world, Alex makes it his mission to uncover the mysteries of governments, gods, and the arcane realm known only (and inaccurately) as the Unending Depths. Slowly but surely, he grows in ability and meets new and interesting people. tEoE is an epic fantasy LitRPG with a focus on plot, writing, and hopefully original twists on the standard formula of 'MC picks cool class, levels up'. Give it a read if any of the following appeals to you: > 3000-5000 words per chapter, chapters released at least once per week, usually several times. Expect good grammar. > Story focus on illusions, secrets, and traps (along with the usual combat and character stuff). > Progression fantasy, but one where progress is meant to feel earned, moderately paced, and reasonable. Some advantages, but not big, unfair ones. > If a random reader can work out that putting a big rock in a bag of holding, lifting it, and then dropping the rock is free energy, then so could an adventurer who's owned a bag of holding for twenty years. Side characters have brains too. > Blue boxes! Levels! [Classes]! [Skills]! Loot! > No uncomfortable sexist undertones. Ambivalent about including relationships. Definitely no harems. There are a number of arcs planned and this will be ongoing for some time. I am very appreciative of the kind reviews and comments left so far.

Transposed
Apparently, even heaven had the odd clerical error. Which was not something Nathaniel Miller would have expected, and yet, that seemed to be exactly what had happened to him. The collector of souls seemed to have been given the wrong address, and instead of taking one Nathaniel Miller of the earth apparently right next door, he took Nate. As recompense for this small bit of error Nate was placed in the body of the Nathaniel Miller that had supposed to have been taken in the first place, and seeing as he now had an opportunity to try to live his life a different way he planned on taking advantage of this chance. No one, however, had specified how different this world would be from his, sure they had said the tech would be a little older, and there were other small anomalies. But no one had seen fit to let him know that older meant medieval, and those small anomalies mentioned? They probably referred to all the fantasy elements and magic that seemed to be part of this world. Still, he was determined to do better this time around, after all, chances like this were next to unheard of...
