The territory known as the Lost regions, were given to the heroes to pioneer and under the name of the crown and the adventurers guild was helping to improve the chances of success by organizing the job requirements to rebuild the territory.

After the announcement, the queen also sent the biggest notice, anyone can migrate as long as they have no land binding debt. Those she is looking for are those who can immediately move.

The slums of the nation instantly bubbled up but naturally there was a need for organization so she made sure that all people who wish to move must undergo a census and give an overview of their skills so that they can be given proper jobs.

She sent people to the entire territory and all cities with major slums and even towns with small ones. Naturally the nobles were not happy but like they did to the heroes, she did to them as she told them that they have no power over those people who are simply not being put to work so she is sending them where they can be put to proper use.

Ace and his party were the first to leave to clear the path. The queen planned to make a large fortress at the path entrance that he will make but they never expected what they found.

“Fuck… this is a fucking canyon.” ace shouted as he looked at the pathway where two mountains rise abruptly forming two huge cliffs and the area in the middle was covered in huge boulders.

“Well this is the shortest path from what the queen said.” Misaki said.

“At least we will have lots of stone to work with.” he said and began his job as he took the pen out and began to open the path by archiving the boulders into the book to slowly open a small path that will eventually be expanded while some earth magic was used to flatten the earth to make it possible for carriages to pass.

As for the nobles, besides their outburst at not being the ones to pioneer the southlands, they simply left disgruntled after the event but after a while they found that it was better since they didn’t have to start from scratch. As such, they simply forgot about it and simply ignored the ‘so called heroes’ that were sent to spearhead the lands.

Like this, the kingdom began to try and move towards recovery while under a safe period after the savage attack from the demon lord.
