It was Ben’s first time increasing his knowledge. It was hard to say what was different. He didn’t feel like in the Matrix where the system jammed a bunch of kung fu information into his head. No matter how hard he searched his memories, there wasn’t any new broscience...He didn’t feel more clever either. Yet, when he tried to recall random information he’d learned in the past, he noticed it came to mind faster and clearer.

He thought about the recent classes he took. Although he hadn’t attended them in over a week, he remembered the teachings even better now than when he recalled them a week ago. Many details he forgot were now accessible. So you could say that a higher knowledge stat improved his memory, increasing the amount of knowledge accessible by him. The effect wasn’t exaggerated, but he noticed the relative difference.

He speculated it may be different if he organically increased the knowledge or used a Stat Growth Multiplier, since an immediate boost from the weekly challenge was rather forceful and under a condition where he wasn’t learning anything new.

Ben’s stats now looked like this:

Ben made some gains in the past few days. He also received several useful items in the Club Rat’s Fake ID, Black Tungsten Ring, and Lucky Clove Cigarettes, oh…and a propeller hat.
