Chapter 18: Chance Meetings

The school bell rang, signifying the lunch time for both the students and teachers.

It was a good thing that I got here at this time as I would not have to disturb the class.

After getting the visitor’s pass from the guard at the gate, I went for the stairs to the right naturally but stopped upon recalling that Ran’s class is on the left side.

I smiled wryly upon this mistake and thought to myself I might’ve drowned into nostalgia too much.

I went to the left staircase and reached the third floor.

Let’s see here, if I remember right, Ran’s class is...oh, this one. I can see him from the window at the corridor so I didn’t really have to remember which class he was.

As soon as I got there, the teacher had also went out.

“Alright, class is over. Remember to do your homework!”

The teacher reminded the class once more before going out.

Seeing this teacher, I unconsciously smiled.

“Ms. Lisa, you still remember me?”

Ms. Lisa was my maths teacher back in high school and the top 1 on the teacher crush list of our batch that year.

Well, though it was like that, everyone knows each other. Even for me. I considered everyone in my batch as friends even though we barely talk to each other. After all, when you spent time for about 14 years together, it’s impossible to keep hating each other like that.

It’s really funny though. Even though teachers called it the ‘worst batch in history’, it was still the ‘favorite batch’ for most teachers.

I also didn’t hear any rumors that time of girls being forced by boys or someone that would sleep with a lot of people. There were none who got pregnant too so our batch was still quite decent compared to other schools.

All in all, my time here was fun.

...I became a loner in college though.

Ms. Lisa was surprised and blinked for a bit.

Before they knew it, they had already graduated just like that.

The group ran out of the school and went for the restaurant the old teacher told them.

Soon, they saw the two they were looking for by the window, chatting and laughing familiarly at each other.
