《My not so Peaceful Dungeon Life》Prologue
Advertisement
My name is Shiro. I live in a one bedroom apartment in USA. My hobbies include playing games and reading books. A job? No, I don't have one of those. Stop, I know what you are thinking. I'm not some lowlife NEET who is using her parents inheritance to live a worry free life. The reason I don't have a job is because of my appearance not because of a lack of motivation. It's true, I swear. I am 142 centimeter tall girl with long white hair and large green eyes and a face that makes people whisper, "Look! She is so cute!" when I walk down the street. Not that I ever walk down the street, I mainly stay in my room. Right now though, I am going to a department store to apply for a job because my parents say they won't keep paying for this apartment after my first year and that I need to get a job. They said this job would be a good idea but nobody will hire a child to sell something even if I am 19. Stupid parents this job will never work! I suddenly hear the man walking behind me scream "Watch out!"
This guy ticks me off, he is so loud! Can't he tell my day is already terrible? I spin around and scream,
"What do you want?!"
Suddenly, I heard a loud noise coming from my left.
"BEEEEEEEEEE!"
Slam! A car hits me on my left, just as I start to turn around to face the noise. I scrape across the asphalt as my tiny body starts rolling across the hard street. The tires screech as the car that hit me stops and pulls over. A tall man gets out of the car that hit me and runs toward me leaving his door open. He leans over me and starts saying something but I can't make out what he is saying. I can just barely make out some people around me because my vision is getting a little hazy. Some people are on the sidewalk screaming and others calling people on their phones that I can only can assume are the police. Mothers are covering their childrens’ eyes with her hands. One young man is puking as he leans against the telephone pole. I guess my appearance must be pretty bad after this if someone is puking. Shit, a new update was going to come out in my game today. I really doubt I'm going to be playing video games any time soon. I wish I never had to leave my room then this kind of thing would have never happened. All of the sudden, I hear a clear monotone voice say,

"Understood, system will begin analyzing request."
Ugh, I can hardly tell right now but I thought I couldn't hear. Maybe that is the tall guy who hit me talking. He has a rather calm voice for someone who just hit somebody.
"System analysis finished. Soul transfer into entity Core #293 will now begin."

Stolen by the System
Lost. Vulnerable. Alone. What would you sacrifice to get home? Kidnapped on the cusp of graduation, Jake is dumped into a deadly world of levels and magic. His dreams shattered again, he’s left with a choice: fight or die – and Death won’t let him go that easily. A savage wolf, a horrific secret, and an abhorrent quest make day one the second worst day of his life. Whatever bastard is pulling the strings is due one hell of a reckoning. On the plus side, there’s magic, and Jake’s got the stats to master it. Spells not included, but, hey, creating spells and programming are basically the same thing, right? At least Spellcrafting is slightly less suicidal than trying to stop the encroaching dungeon spawn threat. Because why wouldn’t there be an apocalypse in progress. All the more reason to find his way back fast. Unfortunately, the path home leads right into the heart of danger. Fighting monsters, dungeon delving, solving puzzles – whatever it takes, Jake is finding his way home. He’ll need allies. Powerful allies, like a trainee ranger who struggles to find her hairbrush. Pointy ears, executive dysfunction, and a perilously gutsy moral compass – what more could one want in a Companion? Alas, beggars can’t be choosers. He needs every edge he can get. Going home means finishing his quest. That quest. The quest that doesn’t deserve completion. Save your father, save the world. Update Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Temporarily ad hoc.

Raul The Reality-Reshaper
Raul Medrano had believed he was a normal human his entire life until the day he turned 21. The night before his 21st birthday he had a strange dream and acquired something dubbed a "system" that swore it would help him adjust to his status as a "higher being" and a "reality reshaper". And so began Raul's life as an immensely powerful adventurer who has and uses a variety of powers to change his world, and the grander omniverse for the better. This story features an overpowered protagonist who meets and faces off against other overpowered entities, but it begins with the protagonist in a small world where he swiftly becomes one of the big dogs so conflict, in the beginning, isn't going to be especially challenging. This story also mixes elements from my own distinct setting, the multiverse in which "A Solitary God" takes place, with elements from the settings created by people over on the NSFW CYOA (Choose your own adventure) subreddit, such as TroyxPage, and specific CYOAs such as "Goddess of Mankind" and "Love Azathoth" into one distinct, wholly original story. When relevant I'll post links to the CYOAs a chapter references in the author's notes section. Image credit: I got the image for the cover from Pixabay. This story was posted originally on ScribbleHub and will continue to be posted both there and elsewhere.

How About Heresy?
Jeffrey's a guy who's most certainly a heretic but likes to believe he's not. Like we all do. Though, being a villain, there are many do gooders that'd like to exchange a strong word— or rather fisticuffs with him. Doing the deeds of villains, he places his own strange lens of justice over it, all the while, being an absolute fool. How will Jeffrey fare against the might of the good? —————————— "You tryin' ta shill me heresy?" "Ye- I mean yesn't," That's absurd why would I shill heresy? I'm not a heretic godsdamnit! In a realm of heretics and apostles alike, what to do? Well, I'm not sure of that myself. Though I have a feeling joining a cult may not be the best action... "No way. Are we being clapped by the power of friendship?" "Indeed we are," Shite. NOTE: - Don't expect an overpowered main character, nor a weak character. Strength isn't a plot point. - This is mainly a comedy, so it ain't as dark as you think it'd be despite the numerous mentions of cultists, heretics and murder... - There isn't going to be any face slapping scenes.
