As Tide immersed himself in his training time passed at a rapid rate. Soon the five days left were gone. He went to sleep on the last day content with his progress and opened his eyes up to see multiple popups in front of him.

Hello participants, a week has passed and most of you should have come to terms with your situation. As such we will begin the trail shortly. Also I hope you spent the last week wisely.

Tide couldn’t help but smile a little bit seeing this text pop up. The first time he saw caused him to panic and worry about what was to come. Instead of that now he felt eager to try again and get even stronger.

Analysing status and actions…

Seeing this message pop up he crossed his fingers and hoped his training was worth it.

Most optimal classes:

Please Choose:

Geomancer (Rare) Sage (Epic) Elementalist (Unique)

Tide smiled as he saw his choices. He saw his old class up there and a wave of nostalgia hit him. He partially wanted to pick it again because he knew what he would be getting, but he wanted something that would make him stronger. While the rare rating was good it was nothing compared to the other two. In his last life he had only met a handful of individuals with an epic class and they tended to devastate the battlefield. On the other hand he has never seen a unique level class.

Sage was most likely a class revolving around wisdom as the primary stat and was a more supportive role. As much as tide would love to be an all knowing old man with a long wispy beard, he was intrigued by the last choice.

“Screw it” Tide muttered as he selected Elementalist.

Congratulations on selecting the unique class Elementalists.

Good luck!

As soon as the message closed out Tide readied himself and brought out his axe. Out of the corner of his eyes he saw a faint shimmering in the air. Instantly he was on guard and faced it. After a couple of seconds the shimmering began to become more visible until a wolf appeared out of thin air. Tide was ready for this and was already swing the axe before the wolf could figure out its situation. It hit the wolf but only made a small cut before being deflected by the wolf’s tough flesh.

The wolf quickly jumped back out of reach wimping in surprise. A red bar flashed above its head showing only a sliver missing and red text displaying that it was a level twelve wolf. It quickly found the source of its pain and snarled at Tide.

“Well fuck, couldn’t it have been a bunny or a slime.” Tide muttered as he prepared for the wolf that was charging at him.

When it reached him he swung the axe like a baseball bat aim for the wolf’s head. Much to his surprise the wolf ducked under the swing and swiped at him with its paw. The impact sent him flying him through the air bleeding. Landing in the stream. Tide pushed himself to his feet coughing up a mixture of blood and water. He quickly glanced at his health only to see that a third of it was gone.

The wolf wasn’t idle as Tide recovered and he saw it charging at him. Due to losing his axe there was nothing Tide could do other than dodging backwards, sloppy avoiding the wolves claws.

Some of its attacks would hit their mark and Tide was slowly becoming covered with cuts. He watched as his health dwindled to half before the wolf stopped attacking and just stood there growling. Tide finally had a moment to catch his breath only to realize he was screwed. This entire time the wolf was leading him to the cliff behind him.

Tide estimated it was at least a three story fall not something he could take with meger health pool remaining. Seeing no other option, Tide decided to go down fighting and pulled his shovel out of his ring. The odd thing was he wasn’t scared. He was actually smiling. ducked down and countered with a swipe of its claws. Tide felt like a fucking car hit him as he was launched into the stream. Tide pushed himself up to his feet coughing out a mixture of blood and water. He checked his heath and found out it was half empty.

Panic begin to set in as Tide had no clue what to do.

The wolf saw the determination in Tide’s eyes before running at him at full speed. Tide prepared himself, but at the last moment it jumped in the air, knocking into Tide. Overwhelmed Tide fell onto his back with the wolf on top of him. It’s fangs lunged forward aiming for his throat, but he threw his shovel up jamming the wolf’s mouth full of wood.

Tide pushed the wolf back and managed hold the wolf it at arm's distance. Preventing it from ripping off his face. This didn’t stop the wolves claws though which began to rip his chest into ribbons. He watched as his health fall.

Grinding his teeth Tide fought through the pain and brought his legs up under himself and in a last-ditch effort pushed with all his might. This caused the wolf to go over his head sailing of the cliff plummeting to the rocky bottom.

Tide just laid there looking at his health bar which was little more than just a sliver left. He just let out a sign before falling unconscious.

He laid there for a hour before waking back up. He was still in great pain but he forced himself up. If another wolf or something showed up he just become it’s meal. Grunting he made his way over packed up camp and found his axe. He was about to leave and find somewhere safe to test his new skills when he heard a whimpering coming from the cliff.

“Of course, it isn’t dead” Tide muttered as he pulled out his axe and made his way to the edge of the pit. Looking down he saw that the wolf was in a miserable state. Two of its legs were facing the wrong way and there was a small pool of blood beneath it.

Tide was about to walk away and just leave it to its fate but in the end he was tempted by the large amount of exp just sitting there for him to collect.

“Fuck it” He decided and began to carefully climb. His body aches and was still bleeding but Tide persevered.

When he made it to the bottom he walked over and stood above the wolf’s body. It looked pitiful and was whimpering in pain. Tide put it out of its misery with a couple of axe striking the beast's neck.

As soon as its health bar emptied, the wolf’s body faded away in wisps of lights. Along with that two windows popped up in front of him.

Level up!

Tide waved this window away. He would have to figure out how his class worked before deciding to spend his stat points. His was much more interested in the second window.

Congratulations on completing the achievement “David and the Goliath”

As soon as the window finished its process it disappeared and a chest appeared in front of him. Excited at the thought of some rare loot, Tide walked forward and open it up. Much to his surprise, inside the box was a wolf cub. It’s fur was pitch black and it’s eyes a deep blue. Confused Tide tried to look at the pups info.
