Chapter Eight [ 8 ]

Looking down at the object currently held within his palm, Li Feng tilted it slightly at an angle towards the person who was currently too engrossed in his violent activity to even notice anything.

A trace of slyness flashed through his coffee coloured pupils and with an outstretched finger, he brought it down and pressed onto the reflective surface of the screen which soon resulted in the emittance of a mechanical sound.

The smirk that emerged on his mask on indifference gradually distorted into a sinister grin that seeped with ominous intentions, if anyone saw Li Feng’s horrifying expression, they would undoubtedly flee from the scene.

For unknown reasons, Hou Xing felt a chill creeping down his spine while he drowned in the midst of pleasuring himself. Feeling a pair of piercing gaze sweeping through his body, he felt an unprecedented wave of excitement surge through his sturdy body.

However, a portion of him seemed to disagree and as if warning him of an impending doom, the feeling of anxiety and dismal started to grow within.

Unable to cope with the ever growing dread, he reluctantly parted from the world of pleasure and opened his glazed over eyes.

Sfx Ka-Chik! Snap!

As if on queue, greeting him was a blaring white light pooled into his vision the instant his eyelids separated, forcing him to shut them up almost immediately.

Distracted by the extreme discomfort of the burning sensation that latched themselves onto his eyeballs, Hou Xing failed to notice the mechanical sound that rang out clearly in the vicinity.

“Gah! Fuck!” He groaned in pain as he reflexively winced while raising both hands before his face in a futile attempt to shield his vision but that damage had already been dealt.

As his stature flinched, the pair of feet that tried to move along with his actions was caught up and tangled by the pants that wrapped annoying around his ankles like chewing gum.

Sfx Crash! Thud~

Unsteadily as he was, Hou Xing’s towering body crashed backwards into the ground with a resounding “ Thud ” as his head collided against the wooden flooring.

Fuck! Why am I so unlucky! It fucking hurts! Hou Xing screamed inwardly as he clutched his head with both hands.

His heart was filled with unwillingness!

Not only was he stung by the series of blinding light that shone directly onto his eyes that caused his immense discomfort.

Now he has to deal with the additional searing headache that felt like it would tear his brains apart.

His eyes teared up involuntarily from both the stinging sensation that diffused from his burning eyes and the throbbing headache as he flailed about on the ground.

During the occurrence of the unfortunate string of events, Li Feng simply watched condescendingly as Hou Xing writhed in both pain and humiliation.

Apathetically, he stood silently on the side lines without feeling an ounce of sympathy for the poor soul.

Lazily, Li Feng shifted his gaze back to the phone grasped in his hand, heaving out several sighs of emotionless marvel as he swiped the surface of the screen with his finger.

As expected from a phone that costs a few thousand Yuan… Li Feng lamented as he flipped through the high definition pictures.

Although he wasn’t the type who cared much for technology, he has to admit that it’s convenient to have at least a gadget like a phone around just in case.

Amongst the members of the Jade Dragon Group, Li Feng was the one that was most inept with technology.

That very fact made the other members feel a burst of pride as Li Feng overpowered and exceeded them in both skills and achievements.

On the flat screen, emerged crystal clear images of Hou Xing visibly pleasuring himself while both of his eyes were shut in delight.

Hou Xing tried his best to pry both of his eyes open while rubbing the back of his head.

After a brief moment, light finally poured into his vision after he managed to open them, washing the anxiety that encroached his heart.

Narrowing his reddened eyes, he gradually adjusted to the light and looked towards Li Feng’s direction with a scowl.

Damn woman, I’ll make you scream underneath me later.. Hou Xing cursed silently as Li Feng was standing solemnly on the side lines, seemingly without any intention of helping him up.

Suppressing the anger and humiliation that was on the verge of lashing out, he masked his emotions with an embarrassed laugh as he rubbed his the back of his head.

But as soon as he laughed, Li Feng’s tundra cold voice shook him awake “Is it that funny?”

“..Hahah… Don’t you think that wa-” Before he could finish the sentence, Li Feng interrupted him with a cold glare “Are you going to ask if I thought that was funny? How would you feel if you were forced to watch a fellow male pleasure himself?”

Stunned… Hou Xing was stunned speechless by the Li Feng’s sudden change of attitude as he sat on the ground with his member still exposed.

“Hahahaha~ Look at you acting all serious! Say cheese for me?” Li Feng’s solemn face instantly changed into one of a bubbly one and spoke in a playful tone.

Even if his brain was spinning at the highest speed it was capable of, Hou Xing doubts that he would still unable to keep up with Li Feng’s pace.

Although he was in a state of confusion, Hou Xing could clearly feel the tension that arose in the atmosphere.

The angel from before totally dissipated into thin air, only to be replaced by a demon that escaped from hell. Under her beautiful smile, seemed to be hiding a knife that would be used against him at any given moment.

This realization made his body tremble, the temperature in the surroundings seemed to have dropped significantly.

“Yeah! Let’s take a picture to commemorate this fateful day!~” Li Feng’s bubbly voice rang out once more, snapping Hou Xing out of his dazed state.

Jolting awake, his head was filled with bewilderment as he tried to guess what Li Feng wanted to achieve.

Following his movements, Hou Xing’s bloodshot eyes drifted along Li Feng’s gesturing hands and gradually landed on the object.

A phone? What is this skank trying to achieve? He questioned himself, his expressions changed constantly.

After a brief moment of absence, a cooling breeze wafted through causing him to shudder as he felt a chill congregating from his waist down.

As if he had heard an imaginary “ Click ” sound in the back of his head, he gasped in horror shortly after.

Sfx Snap~ Ka-Chik!

Before he could pull up the pants that coiled around his ankles like snakes, a bright light flashed once more with the accompaniment of the sound.

“Y-YOU SLUT!” His pale face flushed with rage after he had pulled up the pants.

Pointing his trembling finger towards Li Feng, his sturdy chest heaved along with his uneven breaths and heartbeat.

This time, he had heard it loud and clear, it was as if the shutter rang out right beside his ears.

Li Feng narrowed his eyes into twin crescents, pleased and amused with the variety of reactions he derived from Hou Xing, exactly the result that he wanted.

Like a chameleon, Hou Xing’s face expressions transitioned rapidly. From the initial confusion to shock, and from shock to realization and finally flaring up in anger.

Witnessing the ridiculing smile that sported her beautiful face, Hou Xing’s scowl deepened.

Now he was sure that the woman was toying around with him, something he would never have expected if it weren’t for the obvious hints she dropped.

But what was the point of coming to realization at this point of time? It was simply too late, she already had the photos in her grasp.

Fuelled by the emotions that brewed within, Hou Xing let out a deafening roar before rushing towards Li Feng.

Clouded by the anger, he had failed to notice the calmness that masked his target and the slight chill that he exuded.

Taking long and powerful strides, he arrived before Li Feng in a flash. Stomping firmly on the ground, he twisted his body and lashed out with a left hook.

His body seeped out with a fierce atmosphere as the muscles in his left arm tensed in preparation for the devastation that was about erupt.

“DIE!” Hou Xing hissed, his eyes filled with murderous intent as the left fist inched closer than ever.

In the state of madness, he came up with the brilliant idea of killing off the person in possession of his pictures.

Although he wasn’t anyone important, Hou Xing felt that he was someone who would soar in the medical world.

But if his pictures were spread out even before he achieved that, he wouldn’t be able to face any of his acquaintances.

In that case, he would be better off dead so why not kill the person before she could even do anything that could possibly harm him.

With that resolve in mind, he could only follow through with the plan of killing the wretched woman who baited him into this trap.

A part of his confidence came from the training he underwent in the past at a certain boxing gym.

Although his skills weren’t anywhere near the professional level, it was sufficient to finish off a frail and ordinary woman.

“* Sigh *What a foolish person you are..” Li Feng shook his head disappointingly as he dodged the incoming fist with ease causing the latter to flinch.

Grimacing, Hou Xing swiftly spun his body around as he poised into preparation for a second attempt.

With the second attempt came the third, fourth and five consecutive attempts. Li Feng simply weaved his head and body to the sides, smiling as he did so.

DIE DIE DIE DIE!!!! Hou Xing gritted his teeth as he felt the his strength being drained rapidly.

Sfx Crash!

With a misstep, Hou Xing punched the air as he crashed into the cold hard ground. Scrambling to his feet, he charged towards Li Feng like a bull on steroids.

He lashed out mercilessly with blows that contained his entire weight, assaulting from every possible direction with an intent to kill.

What was even more incredible that the frail looking woman easily redirected and parried all his blows, an irksome smile alighting her beautiful face.

Seeing as how his blows were dodged so easily, a twinge of despair rooted itself deep within him.

Frustrated and desperate, the corners of his reddened eyes riddled with veins as unleashed the fruitless blows.

“Boring…” A bleak tone escaped his lips as Li Feng’s eyes turned sharp, as he ceased the weaving of his body.

Suddenly, a cold sensation settled itself below his chin while a chuckle rang out close beside his ears “Have a nice ride~”

Right after the voice resounded, Hou Xing felt as if a truck rammed itself against his chin before his vision blurred into a frenzy of distorted images.

His head was forcibly yanked backwards by the large force and it sent him backpedalling several steps back.

Not waiting for the dumb oaf to strike back, Li Feng exerted a little force, a white blur flashed before Hou Xing’s eyes as the bottom of the crutch expanded in size.

The sound of the air being sliced apart by the crutch made Hou Xing quiver but before he could react, the rubber bottom of the crutch landed squarely in his solar plexus, rendering him immobile as he collapsed onto the ground.

Beads of cold sweat tricked down his forehead as he retched, curled up in a permanent fetal position.

His eyes met up with Li Feng’s, locked in an exchange that seemed to produce sparks as they collided.

Li Feng saw the despair in Hou Xing’s eyes fading away, leaving only pure hatred and madness that seemed like they would erupt at any moment.

He looked exactly like a cornered beast, one that would sacrifice his life to bring down its enemy.

Heaving out a sigh of annoyance, Li Feng promptly struck the crutch towards Hou Xing’s throat, exerting pressure to stop the crazed beast from squirming.

Tears poured down from the corners of his bloodshot eyes, his adam’s apple nudged vainly as he tried to form words.

No matter how hard he tried to speak, screech or even form the simplest of sounds, all that escaped from his throat was the gurgling of the saliva that collected at his throat.

He squirmed and struggled, flailed his arms and flung his legs but to no avail, the crutch didn’t even budge the slightest, much less freeing him.

After Hou Xing had exhausted all of his means, he laid limply on the ground, his chest heaving along with his wheezing gasps.

“Will you act like the human you are? Stop squirming around like a worm, it’s starting to tick me off..” Li Feng said wearily, one eye closed as the other glanced lazily at the person on the ground.

Biting down on the soft flesh, blood trickled down the corners of his lips as Hou Xing stared daggers at the one who did this to him.

“Don’t stare at me like that~ I’ll get shy…” Li Feng came up with a ridiculous comment as he scratched the back of his head sheepishly with a coy smile.

Hearing the words that came out from the woman’s mouth and watching his actions, a surge of blood shot up his throat before he spat it out.

Wincing in pain, he shot another venomous glare towards Li Feng.

Looking at the crazed look that his prey was giving him, a perverse grin spread across his feminine face as he spoke “You hate me don’t you? You would jump at me if it weren’t for the object that held you back won’t you? TOO FUCKING BAD YOU CAN’T~ KAHAHAHHA!”

After the maniacal laughter, Li Feng wiped the tears that formed at the corner of his eyes and his merry expression instantly sunk down, his eyes turned into balls of emptiness while his face was masked in a blank yet bone chilling expression.

“All of this wouldn’t have occurred if you hadn’t walked up to me… You reap what you sow and just so you know.. This is just the beginning of your nightmare..” His tundra cold voice ended with a smile so cold it caused the temperatures in the vicinity to drop.

Listening to the declaration that was laced with ice, Hou Xing knew that the demon spoke of the truth, without a trace of falsification.

His gaze found themselves to be sucked into Li Feng’s eyes, rather than eyes. It would be much more accurate to refer to them as the darkness of the abyss.

Empty, without any sparkle of life, all that remained was the terrifying unknown that lies beneath.

Everything around him started to crumble into ruins, leaving behind a deathly silence as a crimson red started to dye the skies.

In the far distances, human-like creatures with hollowed eyes bled from all seven apertures as their eerie wails echoed within the defunct land.

Suddenly, these unknown creatures turned their heads back towards Hou Xing in an inhumane angle, revealing a sinister grin as they crawled their way towards him.

Just as he tried to run, bloodied hands began to sprout from the ruins seemingly trying to grab him.

Mustering strength, he tried his best to escape. His calves convulsed from the over exertion but the ghostly figures never seemed to stop.

Constantly one step behind as they wailed, some crawled while some ran, some walked while some flew.

Hou Xing knew that he couldn’t stop, once he did..

He shuddered at the thoughts of what would occur, Hou Xing felt as if he was dropped into the arctic, his body shook uncontrollably.

A pair of invisible hands seemed to find their way into his heart, gripping it tightly causing him to breathe in short wheezing gasps.

“Ki-Kill m-mee.. P-pplease…” Hou Xing muttered under his breath, foaming slightly by the sides of his mouth.

Sfx Snap!

Li Feng snapped his fingers lightly, although it was a little soft, it effective woke Hou Xing up from his never ending nightmare.

Once he awoke, terror overcame him as he looked at the female standing before him.

Every alarm in his body rang off, giving him an indication to flee from the scene, or rather from the demon clad in human skin.

“Now, now… You wouldn’t want to experience “ That ” again right?” Li Feng chuckled softly.

“N-No please! I’ll die for you! I’ll do anything so please stop!” Hou Xing immediately cried out, he does not want to experience “ That ” again.

What Li Feng did earlier was simply releasing a small, miniscule portion of his Murderous Aura or Shaqi.

Shaqi works in a similar fashion to auras and temperaments, whereas the former can be accumulated by taking a certain number of lives.

Murderous intent is just a thought of murdering someone whereas Sha Qi is an intangible energy expulsed from the body used to intimidate, pressure or even kill someone.

If one was weak hearted, they would have easily crumbled under the immense pressure of the auras and die instantly.

How many lives in order to attain Sha Qi, no one knows but anyone who are capable of releasing Sha Qi are definitely people with hands that are stained with the blood of hundreds, thousands or even more.

There are known cases where people die under a glance from people with overwhelming presence, but most of these were recorded mainly in the tumultuous times of Ancient China.

Hmph.. Willy fox… Li Feng cursed inwardly, his eyes slightly narrowed.

Did he see through my lie? Nah, probably not… Hou Xing pondered inwardly, his eyes peering at Li Feng as if trying to catch for any signs of loopholes.

But all he saw was a young female acting arrogantly solely because of her combat skills, he sneered inwardly as he thought Li Feng was someone with only brawns for brain.

This was to be expected, even in the modern society. Someone would very likely judge a person’s experience with his age.

Little did he know that Li Feng was someone that could be considered as his elder, being a person with memories of both lives, Li Feng’s mental age added up to a shocking fifty six..

His heart wall filled with an overwhelming disdain for the woman that stood before him, but due to the overpowering combat abilities of hers, he could only pacify her for now.

Picturing Li Feng moaning beneath his body under a barrage of assaults, the extinguished fire started to ignite once more.

Yawning, she stretched her body and looked around with curiosity.

Shocked that a white kitten appeared out of thin air, the innate curiosity present within all humans made Hou Xing take a look.

Li Feng briefly turned his head towards Hou Xing who was visibly trembling, he raised a brow and asked “ What’s wrong?”

“Y…Y….Y-Your breasts are fake?” With his gaze fixated at Li Feng’s deflated chest, Hou Xing pointed towards it and asked.

“What the fuck are you on about? I don’t have any breasts to begin with…” Li Feng looked at Hou Xing like he was a retard who got dropped on his head when he was a baby.

Even Yun Xue who sat on Li Feng’s shoulder turned her head away in disdain, as if refusing to lay her eyes on filth.

“….YOU WERE A GUY?!?!?! YOU WERE CROSSDRESSING!?!” After processing Li Feng’s words, Hou Xing paused before exclaiming out loud with his eyes widened in disbelief.

“Crossdressing? You fucking mongrel… Would you like me to show you how the word “ Death ” is written?” Hearing the word “ Crossdressing ” being spewed out from Hou Xing's mouth, Li Feng’s eyes narrowed.

“A-AH! N-No need!!! I am sorry Master!” Noticing that he went overboard with the words, Hou Xing knelt down in fear.

He’s a man.. man… MANNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!! Hou Xing screamed, suicidal thoughts ran through his head after he recalled what occurred earlier today.

“…”

“Just so you know, if I ever find you doing something behind my back… I’ll leave the rest your imagination...” Li Feng left these words and left without looking back.

After resting for a brief moment, Hou Xing mustered his strength and got up with his trembling legs.

Viciousness flashed past his eyes as he watched the direction where Li Feng left.

Li Feng left Qing Yi Pavilion with a bright smile plastered on his face, not only did he retain the money he was supposed to spend, he also managed to exploit free goods from the dumb oaf.

He had spent a few hours in the Qing Yi Pavilion, now the skies had already started to darken.

Hearing the protest that came from his stomach, Li Feng felt the need to indulge himself for doing a remarkable job of exploitation.

Rubbing his rebelling stomach, Li Feng’s nose scrunched up as he sniffed the air. His current expression resembled that of a dog, a cute one at the very least.

Not knowing which direction he needed to go, Li Feng used his sensitive nose to guide him, he drifted his way towards where the food scent wafted from.

Allowing himself to be led around by the nose and the constant urging of the rebelling stomach, Li Feng staggered his way through the crowds with the baggage on him.

As he trailed behind, the mouth-watering aromas that he caught made him drool slightly and after a series of curves and turns, he finally reached the destination.

Xuyan Night Market

The night market was very simply named after the place where it was located at, Xuyan Night Market.

Even before Li Feng walked through the entrance, the aroma had already wafted before Li Feng, enticing Li Feng’s taste buds like a falcon punch to the nose.

Looking at the smoke that arose to the skies, Li Feng saw a string of beautiful lanterns stretching from the entrance to the exit.

He leisurely browsed through the food stalls that stationed alongside the spacious street, the wide variety of food that they offered made Li Feng drool.

Although it was currently past seven pm, the flow of traffic never ceased and instead, showed signs of increasing.

Walking in a crutch with baggage made it slightly uncomfortable for Li Feng but his to appease his stomach, he had to bear with it for now.

Looking at the enticing food displayed before him, it was as if they were waving towards him, asking him to take a bite.

Walking for several minutes, he had already bought quite a few items that he planned to bring home just so he could eat it together with Xiao Long.

Just as he was about to order another serving of food, he heard the clamouring of the crowd, filled with screaming and shouting.

Being the curious person that he is, he turned back only to be greeted by a flying wooden stool.

If he dodged, the elderly behind him would definitely be harmed but if he stays, he would be the one injured.

Although he was contemplating the pros and cons, his body moved reflexively by the years of experience instilled into him.

With a slight twist, he turned sideways with his feet forming a T shape. Placing the crutch firmly on the ground as support, he lifted up his left leg and swung it towards the chair.

At the moment of impact, his leg seemed to have turned into a snake as it coiled around the stands.

Following that, he sent out several more dazzling movements that miraculously salvaged the situation without no one getting hurt.

The only people who saw Li Feng’s amazing movements were the hawkers that was protected behind him since everyone’s attention was drawn towards another area.

Standing stiffly from the jaw dropping performance they thought would only appear from movies and television shows.

Never would they have expected a woman of such a young age to pull those moves off, much less so effortlessly on a crutch.

Just as they were about to express their gratitude, Li Feng spun around and smiled “Please take care of my belongings, I’ll be back for them later.”

Stiffly, they nodded repeatedly like chickens pecking away at their food as he pushed away the stool and made his way towards the point of attraction.

Looking at the seemingly unbreakable human barricade before him, he took in a deep breath before charging into the crowd.

Slowly but surely, he made his way through without even needing to push. The people who locked eyes with him gasped before stepping to the sides.

Raising a brow in doubt, he paid no heed and lightly nodded towards them before moving forward.

“Gahahahah! This is what happens when you don’t pay up the protection fee!”

“Kaka, look at their funny faces!”

“I know right?!”

Three men were laughing wretchedly as they smashed a stall into crumbles with weapons in their hands, occasionally looking at the fearful expressions of those who stood by the sides.

Raising their hands high up, they swung down the metal pipes with full force, chiselling away the remnants of the wooden stall.

The fact that they were students made it worse, judging from the uniforms they donned, Li Feng instantly recognized them to be from a nearby school in the Linzhen area.

While these three students were busy bashing up the stall, Li Feng noticed the two men that stood near them.

Both of them had their head of hair dyed in a bright blonde, one with a Mohawk while the other a crew cut.
