The year 2020 the U.S. declared war on the world, launching three nukes targeting North Korea, Russia, and China. With the preemptive nuclear strike America was able to sweep through the countries in a short 10 years. Seizing the technology from the countries they were able to quickly develop their weapons and tactics. In the year 2044 America turn on their allies and waged war against the united nations. By the year 2066 America had conquered the world renaming itself the Global Federation.
The unexpected happened and peace actually followed the war. No longer a need to develop weapons scientist turned all their attention to other things. In the year 2072 Snow Storm Entertainment, creators of the famous games like Planet of Warmaker, StarMaker, BrainStone, and OverClock announced the development of a new game, one that would change the world.
In the year 2073 the first bit of news was released causing a sensation throughout the planet. Amongst the stars, the first VRMMORPG was announced. Snow Storm revealed they had been working on technology that would allow a players conscience to enter the game simulating 100% of reality. CEO Hector Thomas revealed that to accommodate all people there would be three different ways to play so everyone could afford it.
In the year 2074 no news was announced about Amongst the Stars, almost like it fell off the face of the planet. Fans sent angry messages and berated Snow Storm Entertainment and CEO Thomas calling them frauds and over hyping nothing. They released no news to try to rectify the situation and the craze started to calm down.
January 1st of the year 2075 Snow Storm announced Amongst the Stars would be released on June 1st

The Archaic Elements
A fantasy world, its own unique power-up system, some mystery aspects to make it look interesting and an MC that should make sense but well messes up, cause plot. Flashy fights. Characters will use their brain, unless it is an arrogant young master that needs to be taught a lesson. The starting is slow and maybe boring. The main MC does not desire great strength or harbor any great ambition. He starts out as a naive, lazy and a boring person. But the story does hold one aspect which will fuel the growth of our MC, which is his boundless curiosity for adventure and his will to explore. The second MC is a reincarnation/transmigration and he has a clear cut aim that he needs to achieve. His past life experiences also becomes a pillar that will help guide the main MC, while his friend also supports him. The writing is slow and steady. I will provide reasonings behind most happenings and keep it a logical story. It's a WIP as I edit the previous chapters even as I release more, so while the content doesn't change, the style and smoothness improve. The current release rate is 3 chapter/week. There is no specific date as I can get sidetracked or forgetful., but I will try to stick to Tues, Thurs and Sunday releases.

Co-owners and co-developers of the virtual game world, Darkentide, Justine and Alfie are on the verge of introducing new shadow monsters to challenge their few dozen dedicated players. He also sends Greta, a dancing nurse he summoned and has high hopes for, to watch over Justine and make doubly sure the female developer won't do something stupid. Can Justine figure out a way to escape back to the real world and put a stop to the hooded man's evil schemes? Can Greta be the female Pinocchio her summoner wants, and become a real girl? And what about poor Alfie? Can he ever amount to anything more than a pile of ashes? And where is that flowery smell coming from?
