It is with absolute sorry I am writing that we have lost our beloved cat Misty-Day. She was the best kitten I've ever known, never bit, never scratched and never had an issue with giving as much love and attention as we wanted.

Misty became Jaundiced and my wife and I have spent most of the last week trying to force feed her and keep her alive on fluids and round the clock care. As you know my wife is disabled but she still was determined to do so regardless of the pain. Sadly due to cost of treatment and the issue with her becoming despondant and losing her will to move, we had to make the horrific determination to euthenize.

My wife is inconsoloble. This was her purry-heating pad, her snuggle buddy, her kissy kitty as she called her. Misty was one of the 6 joys in her life which are our pets. Katie our Aussie who was her best friend is depressed as well and keeps looking for Misty. I think the hardest part was my wife kept waking up thinking she had to go make sure Misty was still breathing and to force feed her just to break down.

When we made the determination, my wife had told me "it is our job to ensure that they do not suffer needlessly, it is our job to make sure we are the last thing they see." A lullabye, kisses, and praise from Mama was the last thing Misty saw before she went.

I shall be taking this week to set up things for her urn and to help my wife. I attatched photos for her memorial I hope the links work. She was the best Kitten anyone could ever ask for. Misty we will miss you.
