《Thaellis A Kingdom Down Under》Epilogue

Hilf watched as the Oasis blinked out of the realm, the process not so smooth due to the object size, and material nature. A tear was left, and the realm began to pour out. The Nightmare, as it was called, was the first to be dragged into it. At least the mouths anyway, the remainder of its bulk, flesh bundling down into the depth of this realm, grew taut as the beast fought being entirely pulled through.
The Giver had been less effective in that, the rupture had been a surprise for all, with how it just appeared instantly in front of them. So, she lost sparks of herself to the tears pull and was continuing to do so as the rupture began to grow. Normally such a thing wasn’t possible, the cost to maintaining such a portal would be swiftly spent and the tear healed. But a portion of the Lifeforce pouring though the crack was maintaining and broadening it.
Seeing this Hilf was about to intervene, since if this kept up the whole realm would come undone. Its contents following its Spark as the Lifeforce carried him to his requested destination.
It was unnecessary however, Hilf heard, as did all entities in the realm, the barrier above shatter and its partner descend. The thousands of life emitters it decided to make up its form, coalesced into a hand. One that pitched shut the tear ending the spectacle. The machination of Hunger was cut in half, and the tower now served of its heads went crashing down into the Lifeforce below.
Images, and thoughts were sent Hilf way the intent of them parsed together instantly. “That was bold of you Hilf,” the lights sent. “Even here under my shroud, that act will be felt and.” The stream paused, then carried anew. “Seems you were being watched, or on notice.” Hilf partner warned, but didn’t need to.
Hilf already knew, felt the instant the entity behind him transitioned to the realm and gazed upon the mess its Spark had help cause. Not that the scene mattered to the newcomer, no its awareness focused on where the tear had been, on the blatant lending of aid, and a Sovereign directly speaking to its Spark.
“Hilf?” the entity sent in true surprise, not unwarranted, Hilf didn’t have a record, it never caused trouble or meddle in the affairs of others.
That surprise slipped away swiftly though, replaced with the self-importance all Moderators seemed to radiate. And of all the ones to be sent or watching, it just had to be Perrone. “Though you have no previous claims against you, this, act you have just committed is a large one.” A pause as Perrone gazed at the realm, tried seeing other actions it performed, but the lights above spreading back out to encompass the sky, were obstructing its sight.
“You will cease your interference Gazer,” Perrone stated in a heated flash of will. “Or yet another claim shall be bestowed upon you, one that even you might not be so inclined to ignore.” A threat, it always did come down to threats when dealing with this Moderator. It was extra smug and self-important, and unfortunately well earned. Not a single one of its sparks had fallen to hedonistic depths. All, even after the countless it has sent, remained pure. A model to the truth that a spark can stay wholesome even when stripped of all their abilities. Due to this Perrone guise of a perfect and beautifully detailed suit of armor, was endowed with accomplishments of its spark, an endless reciting of victories over limitations.

The lights above pulsed amusement, to both Hilf and Perrone's surprise. “No Moderator, you will not get your way, you’ve seen enough.”
Hilf felt the claim be placed upon the lights, the Moderator not the slightest bit hesitant to invoke its right. Perrone kept to its truth, the claim was a large one, enough that Hilf expected Gazer to change its mind, let the Moderator see all that had transpired. Yet the lights only pulsed with mocking laughter, and didn’t bother sharing what it found so amusing. To the Moderators growing irritation, Perrone wasn’t used to this treatment, claims were a serious matter, the stripping of one's right to act within Creation. It wasn’t something to be laughed at.
“Leave Moderator, before my cheerfulness ends,” Gazer stated, the pulses of laughter slowing.
‘Gazer what are you doing?’ Hilf thought to his partner.
'Having a bit of fun my friend, don't worry everything's fine.' The lights thought back to him.'
“Did you just threaten me?” The Moderated asked, stunned.
“No,” the lights sent, “I stated a truth. Leave or be removed, this is my realm after all, I have the final say here.”
Another claim was placed upon Gazer, larger, far larger than the last, followed by another bestowed upon Hilf, though not to the same weight. But it was still restricting, and before it could get used to the sensation another was placed upon it, one pertaining to direct inference with its Spark.
“I will find out what you’ve been up to Hilf. But you can confess now and lessen the charge that will come later if you make me search.” Perrone sent with a cold tone.
‘As if,’ Hilf thought after what Gazer had done. “It seems you’re going on a journey Perrone, I do hope you enjoy it.” Another claim fell, one pertaining to hindrance, then the Moderator vanished, not by its own will either. Gazer kept its truth and had just pushed a Moderator out. That was going to be full of consequences, yet Hilf's partner only laughed, the lights brightening and thrumming with amusement.
“That felt wonderful!” the lights pulsed. “Well worth it.”
“Are you sure?” Hilf asked as another claim fell upon its partner, one that made Hilf flinch.
“Of course I’m sure, I mean look at you, a perfect record tarnished in an instant. Yet you act completely unfazed by the affair.” The lights sent to Hilf, amused.
“I have nothing to lose, really,” Hilf sent.
“I know,” Gazer pulsed. “Really is nothing when you don't plan to play anymore. Is that why you’ve been so bold, so outside of what you usually are?” Hilf didn’t answer, so Gazer elaborated, even though it didn’t need to, save rubbing in the facts of its acts.
“Made it so your spark started out with the needed body to survive, that’s another interference.” The lights radiated as they returned to circling in the sky. “Gave him back large pieces of memories aimed at revealing what he’d been doing wrong.” Another pulsing laugh flickered across the realm. “And let’s not forget the part you bestowed a fake memory explaining to him how to use Lifeforce, oh if any Moderators find out about that. Well, you’ll be doing about as much as me, just watching things." Another laugh boomed out, the realm humming with its bundled joy. "Especially, if they learn you influenced your spark to form a Life-emitter within himself.”

“I’m aware of my actions Gazer,” Hilf said, though having it laid out before it was a new perspective. And its partner hadn't mentioned that it also brought its Spark to this realm, even if he wasn’t anywhere near being aligned with it. Though of all the acts Hilf had performed that one would be mostly overlooked. Many do the same, even if its inference. Yet none care since its seen as a mark of a Sovereign believing their spark can withstand harsher testing. It's only punished when a Sovereign tries the opposite route.
Still, Hilf hadn’t planned to intervene as much as it had. But watching its Spark try, make progress, face hardships. Hilf couldn’t stop itself. Before it could ignore the pleas, since its Spark caused his own problems, earned the hardships that befell him. But not now, not with the situation reversed. “I’m sure the claims placed upon me will be crippling, and Moderators will make offers of services that I can perform to lessen them.” Hilf sent as it thought over the number of fines that will be bestowed once Perrone, and others finished their investigation.
“But we both know you won’t,’ the lights sent, reforming the sky barrier. “You don’t need to, the claims only exist in Creation and you plan to leave and go make your own.”
Only Gazer knew that truth, the price for getting its cooperation, and allowing its Spark to be born within its realms. To exist in a place flooded with unclaimed Lifeforce so its Spark could gather the needed pieces in one life.
The lights laughed again, their glow intensifying to heights that blinded flesh vessels. “Just the thought of it makes me fill with joy, those Moderators made mute, their threats and self-worth made pointless, really makes one wonder.”
Silence fell upon the realm, Hilf giving its partner the quiet it wanted. Hilf took that moment to watch its Spark rise, the Lifeforce was carrying him far, and.
And its direction changed abruptly. The Lifeforce rushing towards a rift that had just opened. ‘Oh my,' Hilf thought shock resonating within it. 'This is going to be a lot of trouble.’ Its spark did crave paradise, and he was certainly going to get that now. A place reserved for the most luminance, those sparks that hadn’t fallen to depravity, which cruel lives so often born.
“I’m going to help you and your spark Hilf,” Gazer announced, pulling and filling Hilf awareness with even more surprise. Gazer had already done more than it expected, taking on claims it never believed anyone would.
“Really?” The lights sent, “is it that much of a surprise to you for a trace to be emitted?”
“Gazer the number of claims that will befall us, even being careful, it will cripple us forever,” Hilf sent. “So yes I’ am surprised.”
“I’m practically crippled anyways,” Gazer pulsed. “And tired of this.” Hilf felt the intention, its partner meant the realm around them. “These twisted sparks, no matter how much power and freedom I give them, they don’t change back, they just cut at each other. Always tormenting themselves, remain devoid of what they once were. But your spark showed a path to undo this, they need direct help, need to feel how they were before. Remember the wonder of it, and know what they’ve lost.”
“But I can’t do that,” Gazer added, frustration mixed within its light. “No direct interference, even me bathing this realm in Lifeforce is muddling the line. And I’m only allowed because I’ve been assigned to study these fallen sparks, figure out why they act so different. But now I know why,” Hilf felt Gazer awareness flow over to it. “They’ve all been abandoned, left to rot, and wither away. Not even given the tools to heal themselves, to recall what they’d once been, all stripped away to prove a point.
Gazers awareness flowed way from Hilf, back over to the realm it was ordered to make and watch over. Hilf followed its sight, looked upon the myriad of sparks hollow within, their lights of wonder long dead.
“I experienced your last petition,” Gazer said abruptly reclaiming Hilf's attention. “You were very heartfelt with your request, some would say even desperate.”
That's because it had been, Hilf finally attempt at following the rules before it, took more bold steps. Its petition had been ignored like all the rest, and like before, it had been alone when giving it. Its opinion to end Creation, to take what they’ve learned and start anew was, highly unpopular. Even if the act was desperately needed. Yet it was refused, or ignored by the rest of the Sovereigns. All were too enamored with their own games and watching versions of themselves rise and fall.
“This Creation is flawed, and no one is going to do anything about it,” Gazer announced. “Save for you that is, going to leave and make your own creation from scratch. Perhaps for the best.” Gazer added, “none of them are going to change, most are content with this, or to lazy to start all over. And so, we reach the reason why I’m going to help you Hilf.”
Gazer awareness flowed over it, excitement blooming. “You’re crazy enough, or fed-up enough to try. So, we’ll get your spark realigned with you, and then when you leave. Me and those I can gather, we’ll be going with you.

Domain of Man
Isolation is terrible. To feel isolated with your fellow man around you is worse. What if you were dumped in some backwards cave somewhere, completely nude, maybe with your family, or even completely alone? The age of pioneers, heroes, generals, and geniuses is long gone. Humankind has become numb to the world around it because of how paltry everything else is compared to the glory of its history, the sheer volume of their accomplishments, and the sum of its innovations. Artificial intelligence is within arms reach in devices and computers and even houses, and neural interfaces aren't exclusive to the rich and powerful at this point. Someone far in the distance took notice of Earth, saw the multitude of hairless apes swarming its surface. That one went down the checklist to see if humanity had, in fact, beaten the 'game' of Life. Sure enough, they had gone above and beyond the requirements, but nobody had been watching. 'Why might that be?', that one wondered.
