《Thaellis A Kingdom Down Under》Chapter 45

Bliss watched and listen through her many vessels. The wills that had once held them for themselves were still submerged inside of her. A wondrous thing, for she had done nothing to cause such a fortuitous outcome. The wills themselves choose to stay, memorized by the image of His Will paradise, of what the realm will be once things were made right. Bliss seeped gratitude to them, for giving themselves fully to His cause, to His Desire. And for staying within her, allowing themselves to slowly dissolve and forever be her.

Unfortunate that all wasn’t how it should be, many were against His want. The Others within vessels were fighting for control and more important trying to keep their claim on vessels safe.

They were not blest such as herself, with a Will that could not be crushed, with a Desire that made her so vivid. No, they were stuck with a mass of weak wills, ones that envisioned very little, and their desires ever changing. Still, there was many of them, and they were slowing things done. Hammering her with questions from the many vessels she was controlling. The higher ones, with larger essences within them, were causing the most trouble. Individuals that had come from the many Houses but weren’t appointed the Titles of Maidens. In turn, they had never been bathed in His Will, never showed the glory of His Desire.

So the essence filled ones were control mostly by Fear, and Worry, the troublesome duo whispering endless drivel into the vessels ears. Making things worse as they feed upon and sank deeper into the vessels that the weak wills struggled to hold onto.

Bliss had the vessel Zellebeth sigh, not that she felt any frustration, only a mild dimming of herself. But she felt it was an appropriate response to what was going on. And she needed to make sure the vessels acted normally, lest He noticed her, push her away when He decided she was being too overbearing. Bliss hoped in a sense that the small portion of her that was with Him, and the Chosen that remained by His side was doing a decent job at hiding herself. Wasn’t pestering Him, even though Bliss knew herself, knew how hard that was. His Desire was so clear, it was hard to ignore it, not just lose herself in making His vision.

The vessel Zellebeth sighed again, as Bliss turned her attention to another host, one called Ethleen. The will that once held it was one of most eager to become part of her, unpleasant? that her brother wasn’t the same.

“This is a cursed act,” the vessel Noen said, the smell of Fear was thick, mixed with Worry and Concern. The will inside that host cared for the one that was with Bliss. An actual caring, rather than the thin false ones she was accustomed to noticing from the many wills around her.

“All is well,” the vessel Ethleen said at it gave orders to passing Servants. She smiled at them as they went about their Tasks not once protesting. Even though Bliss could tell they truly wanted to, like all the dregs unblest to see his Light, they were filled with an endless amount of Others vying for control. Though the wills holding on to the vessels called Servants were stronger, better at holding back the Others, Anger most of all.

“There isn’t anything well about this Ethleen,” the vessel Neon said and grabbed her arm. Bliss could see from the memories of the will that once held the vessel, that this was not normal. Un-respectful flashed before her, demands that she lashed out at the Lowly for acting above his station. ‘What a horrible thing’ Bliss thought, and instead placed a gentle hand on the child’s own. The other one caressed the vessel Neon face.

It relaxed, for Fear had heightened in it for a moment, it knew what was supposed to come, that its action was supposed to be met with pain, not comfort. “I’m sorry,” Neon said as its grip loosen on her and fell. It, however, held the hand that cupped its cheek, pressed it closer. Bliss smiled, saw her way in and acted upon it and infused herself into the words. “My dear Neon I know you’re afraid, but don’t be, all is well.” Her words had an effect, as she began to slip into the vessel Neon, the essence of her was to its liking, and it allowed her in eagerly when it felt what she provided.

The Others were not thrilled to see her, they began to scream at the vessel they were contesting for. But Bliss only smiled, like always they would just push the will closer to her, for she was what they desired. What He Desired, had molded her to be, enough that she could garner His attention. These weak wills, fragile and easy to sway were not something that could deny her, not forever. Not even with an army of Others already filling them full, trying to block all paths in. But these ones had failed, the vessel Neon looked at her, hope forming around him.

She had the vessel Ethleen smile warmly at it, and infused more of herself into the words. “We’re leaving Neon to a place grander than the Sanctum, a place safer.” The warmth of her words seeped into the gap of the small will defenses, yet was not near being her. No, the host had too many Others for that to occur quickly. So the will asked, Fear pushing at it. “It is really safer than a Sanctum Ethlenn? What could be better than the Wards that have always sheltered and guided us?”

Bliss smiled at it “Why something Divine my dear, something that makes the Nightmares tremble, something that has found a place better for His House to stay.” Ethleen moved closer, pressed herself against the vessel that was her brother. “He calls for us to return to his side, something Divine, something handed down by the Giver herself wants, US!” Bliss had the vessel say with emphases. “Neon can’t you see we’re Chosen, picked to be somewhere above the walls around us.”

Bliss manifest an image in the things mind, painted the picture of a place free of burdens. It was a loose illusion, there was too little of her within the things vessel. To many Others clamoring for attention and control. But it did give the thing pause, that and the effect Ethleen was providing. Bliss could feel the joy that was coursing in the thing, it cared for its sister.

The thing relaxed, its eyes going soft as it slowly wrapped its arms around her vessel. “Worry has me Ethleen, this is all so very different to what has been our life, we always strove to stay within the blessed halls of a Tower. Now you wish to leave, to go out into the Soulless realm Below were Nightmares roam. All because of the words of a Founder that has already left us.”

Bliss had the vessel sigh, and lay its head on the things chest, more joy sprouted from it as the thing looked down at her affectionately. “You were in His presence once, you saw a small glimpse of the Founder we follow. But for me, I saw it all, as he does to those higher up in the Titles of the House. The Light I saw freed me of the Worry your dealing with now.” She whispered “Laid the truth in front of me that the Giver has sent down a Champion, someone to guide us to grander things. To guide us back to her.”

She moved her head, so she could stare up into the things longing eyes and smiled. “So please Neon trust me again like you always have, let me guides us higher once more.”

“I was always going to follow you Ethleen, I just wanted to make sure you understood where we’re going.” The thing said holding her tight,

Bliss made the vessel smile wider “I know exactly where we’re going my dear, we’re returning to his Light, and once all of us are there, I’m sure He’ll reveal his Worth to all. Show that we’ve all been selected, that we’re Chosen.”

“Of course Ethleen,” the thing said smile just as brightly to her “I can’t wait to see it.”

Bliss pulled most of herself from the vessel after that, returned her attention to the wider spectrum of vessels she moved. She was forced into similar conversations, in that the things were been worked up by Worry. Making Bliss Task more difficult than it should. In retrospect, she should have had His Will sing to most of them before He left, but like all else, Bliss had been caught unprepared, had assumed He would come back after the River was His.

But no, not after what He faced, His existence had been threatened, the River of essence was making lower things to higher ones now. So her Will had to do the same, for the benefit of all that gave themselves to His Will. Bliss would provide, do everything in her power to make the followers into what they should be, make them right, make them her. So she could begin the colossal Task of shaping the realm into what He Desired. The Others knew it, knew the paradise her Will strove to bring about. Knew that in such a place they would wither away. How were things to be fearful when there were wasn’t anything to manifest Fear? How do they form Worry when there was no source to cause it? How do they summon Anger when every want was easily obtained?

The answer to all was that the things couldn’t, the realm would be free of them, and be filled with her, and those of her circle. The realm made right, the realm made into the vision he manifested. The vision she was born in, made to bring about by His Desire.

It was troublesome how much the little wills were fighting this. Fighting for something that hated, that would make their existence not her. They were all sick things, like her Will already knew, knew the moment He came to this realm. She would strive to make it right, no matter how long it would take.

“This is madness,” a thing said to one of her vessels. It was one of the Maidens that had arrived after her Will had departed. “My House joined your Founder so we could stay within these blessed halls, to stay in a Tower, and now you’re telling me this same Founder has ordered all of us to follow him out into the depths Below?”

Bliss could see Anger firmly in control, for now at least. She had the vessel smile at it kindly, and speak softly. “It was not an order, but a request, a test to see who’s truly committed to his House.” Bliss had the vessel speak. “None are being forced to go, you’re welcome to stay here, with the rest of your House that joined, and others that may decide the same.”

The thing snarled at her, Anger pushing it to do so. “How is that a choice, those of us that remain will be forced to beg for a new place to stay, beg to any House that will take us, or we’ll fall into the lower tiers.”

“Then join us,” Bliss said infusing her essence into the words “Together with the Divines aid we will make a place higher than these halls.” Bliss slowly seeped into the Maiden but Anger was waiting for her, she was easily pushed back out. There was too much of it already festering within, and the will that the vessel belonged to was on Angers side. Was letting it have full sway on matters.

“Higher than the Givers halls?” that thing said in a grunt, its eyes glaring at her. “You’re a House of fools, fools that let themselves be tricked by a Founder that is likely Consume by Curses.” The thing said mockingly. “I’ll not be part of this nonsense, nor any of my House.” The thing said turning from her being carried away swiftty by Anger that was whispering many things into its ear.

Bliss smile dimmed as she watched the thing closely, already she had memorized the face of the thing and the dimensions of the rest of the vessel. She pulled her focus from the host, though a smaller form of herself continued dealing with the needed Tasks in the area. She moved her attention over to the Chosen, to the vessel Nowth. It with many of its kind was watching the many Servants slowly emptying a treasury and readying the materials inside for the long transport to the Divine.

The will in Nowth notice her instantly, smiled at her, and she smiled back. But the will smile wasn’t warm like hers, it was mocking in a way, amused to see her again so soon. ‘Bliss. More trouble?’ the thing asked her, its tone matching the smile.

Bliss widened her own, even though the correct response should have been to frown or act in the way of annoyance. But Bliss didn’t have to act in front of this one. Though it had yet to embrace her, it had already accepted her presence, would follow His Will.

‘There is another one to be watched’ Bliss said, displaying the image of the Maiden she’d been talking with. The thing pulled out a Shard and copied the image, while also memorizing it. ‘Possibly her House as well, it was one of the recent ones, Guth.’ Her words went straight into the Shard.

‘Guth’ the will spoke. ‘Wasn’t that one of the smaller Houses to join?’ the thing asked her, Bliss answered with a simple nodded as she looked through the vessel eyes and studied how much work had been accomplished.

The vessel Nowth half chuckled, gaining some attention from its other Chosen. The thing flashed hand sign and the vessels around it nodded in understanding. ‘Do you really think something so insignificant will cause trouble?’

‘It always a possibility when one is ruled by Anger.’ Bliss answered, showing images of how the Maiden had acted towards her.’ Nowth hummed as the will inside watched the vision, a smile formed on its lips, not a kind one. ‘Pathetic thing isn’t it’ the will commented to her as it finished watching the scene. ‘Yet another to be cleansed’ It added.

‘Removed’ Bliss corrected, merging a portion of herself into the word, and pressed it against the will. It shivered for a moment, but nothing more.

‘Removed’ the thing echoed, but there was little conviction behind it, and the will smiled at her again. ‘It would be better for all of us if we just do it my way. the Lowly have already made their choice clear. Shown to be filled with lies and Curses, they’re not fit to be within his House.’

‘And they won’t’ Bliss spoke ‘they will stay here with the rest of the blind and be consumed. But for now, they are still part of his House, if they, however, do anything to harm those under the Divines care, or something that could majorly hinder the Divine plans. Then you may do as you please.’

The will smiled brighter, and Bliss smelled a whiff of Hope coming from him. It was eager to remove those it saw unfit. Funny in a way that Bliss thought the same of it. Though it followed His Will, was summited to Him. The Thing was not completely aligned, was still not right. She would fix it once those freed were within her Molders essence again. Then she would be able to mold them to what He needed, to what He Desired.

‘How many others are wavering in their submission to Father.’ the Thing said, more hope wafting from it.

‘Most’ Bliss admitted, the answer she gave had Hope growing rapidly before she noticed Anger appear. That she wouldn’t allow, Bliss smothered it till there was nothing left. The things posture relaxed, where before it was beginning to tense.

‘I knew them Lowly, still for most to turn from his Light?’ The things thoughts had Worry beginning to form, but Bliss smothered that as well.

‘It’s not something to be too surprised about my child.” Bliss said moving closer to it. ‘Those that are turning mainly joined His House to remain within these cursed halls. And more importantly are the ones who’d never been submerged in his Light, they never got to see the truth, to see paradise.’

‘Yet you have me and my fellow Chosen stay our hands?’ the thing said challenging her again. ‘Even though you know as well as I do that they will abandon His House, might even act against it.’

Bliss pressed herself close to it, wrapped her arms around the vessel, the will did not push her away. Yet it also remained unmoved, it made no attempt to submerge itself in her, to become her, like all the others. ‘It is His will Nowth, they, even if planning ill, are still family. Still held under His protection, still deserve us to try and guide them away from the folly they race towards.

The things challenging air dissolved in the face of this truth, at the mention that it was going against its Fathers Desire. It made Bliss smile, though it wasn’t completely right, the will was aligned enough to never question Him. That was far better than most.

‘So I’m to do nothing then?’ the thing asked bitterly ‘Just wait for a blow I know is coming? Watch those that need my protection be harmed before I can act?’

‘No’ Bliss spoke lovingly into its ear, the act causing the thing to shiver. ‘You are too ready for it, prepare so when the strike comes, you’ll be there to take the blow. Then my dear child, once the offenders have gone against His Rule, then you may cleanse them. But only those that attack Nowth.’ Bliss spoke firmly as she gazed into the things eyes. Seeping much of herself into it, spreading her warmth, and the image of His Light behind her.

The vessel Nowth smiled and breathed a sigh of relief. ‘Blessed is that news, me and the rest of Chosen will be ready.’

Bliss kissed it on the forehead, before showing more images of things that schemed of possible ill. It all went into the Shard the vessel held onto. Then she departed, knowing the matter was in good hands, the will was aligned enough that she wouldn’t need to watch it. A grand thing, since the whole of His House, was in turmoil.

Bliss expected it. Even so, it didn’t make her Task any less difficult. The House had been geared towards making Him above all within these halls. Now she was racing to rework everything to make sure He stayed pleased, that things remained within His Desire.

The image of the simple will her Maker had faced flashed through her. The cause of the change, the sight of it had her, not-happy? It did make her dim, which might be close enough. The simple will ruined her preparations, had His Will rush towards making his goal faster than she was prepared for. She had expected more time, too spread-out, to bring more into His fold. But that time seemed to be at an end for the moment.

She shifted her focus onto the Advisors, the three working tirelessly to ready the House for its march. If all continued at the current rate, they as a whole would begin their exit this day. She could allow more time, allow the uncommitted more of a chance to change their ways, to give their wills to her. She should, but she wasn’t, her time away from Him had been long enough. Her lesser self to far away for her to reconnect, the gap too great. The thought of not knowing what He Desired or his state was unacceptable.

So she pressed herself against the vessel known as Vollow, looked through its eyes and studied the details. It was organizing the Newborn, as it still considered them, even though they were fully grown and Chosen. It and they were placing needed Hearts and other instruments for fast growth into chests. Each marked detailing what laid within and the importance of it.

‘Bliss’ the will that held Vollow said, ‘Good of you to be here, more of the Unworthy were trying to change people’s minds on the subject of leaving.’ It displayed to her images of the offenders, some she had already given to the vessel Nowth. ‘They made their intentions quite clear, they and the groups gathering behind them will not be joining us.’

Bliss considered this would be an appropriate time to sigh and voice discontent, but she didn’t. She instead pushed herself closer, wrapped her arms around Vollow and the will within. It had yet to embrace her fully. Out of a belief that it was to be aware and make sure all went according to the Divines Will. Bliss could feel the joy it felt being in control, being able to order those greater than it around. It wouldn’t let that go, not yet, but Bliss was confident she would have it within her eventually. It was eager to let her be by it, to let her soothe it.

‘A pity’ Bliss whisper into its ear. ‘If they try again, have them removed, they may not have harmed or broken the Divines rule, but they are now going against his Will. That is close enough, don’t harm them unless it calls for it.’ Bliss finished watching the Chosen work. Each of the vessels a prize to claim. But she didn’t need to, no the Maidens were her, as were the children in all of them. She had enough Chosen vessels of her own to make sure His Will would be done.

‘Fear whispers to me that it might. The unworthy know what they’re doing, know they’re going against the Founders order. That’s a clear display of a coup.’ The will said to her with annoyance mixed within. Normally she would move to remove it, but this small will was much like its Father. Liked listing to multiple voices, seeing their many perspectives. The will had told her such when she removed them once.

Bliss let it indulge in this wrongness, only because the will was fully committed to its Father, just not her. Bliss could exist with that, long enough for the many to be within His Light again. But after, it would be fixed like all the others. Everything would be made perfect for His Will, there could be no blemishes.

‘Nowth will be thrilled to hear that.’ Bliss said, adding the illusion of displeasure in her voice. ‘But you have made a valid point, those not committing themselves know they're now standing against His Light. You can be forceful with their removal if they come back, but hold off with cleansing them. I rather they cross the line in full, that they be the ones to strike first and let all know plainly they have broken the Divines Rule.’

‘As you wish’ the will thought to her, as it instructed those around it where items were to be taken. ‘But the unworthy know the Rule, if they're intending to break it, then it will be at the last moment while were leaving and our numbers will be spread out. They want supplies, enough that they'll have the Worth to either allow themselves to bride their way into another House. Or try and hold out on their own and claim some of the Chambers for themselves.’

Bliss smile thinned at the thought of wills turning from His, merely for simple possessions. It was a thing only Greed would fall for. But they were held by many Others, it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see it there as well, guiding the small wills to unfortunate ends.

‘Then leave them enough supplies that they will reconsider their actions.’ Bliss spoke as she rubbed her hands over its chest. ‘Enough that if they choose to break the Rule fully, it will be their choice alone and not one muddled by desperation.’

The vessel Vollow did its best not to react to her touch, since to Bliss amusement, the other vessel Uoth was close by, more than once she’d seen it turn its attention towards Vollow, the air of suspicion flowing out from it. That will was full of Jealousy and possessiveness, made even worse with the expansion of the vessel stomach and the new smaller wills inside forming.

‘Normally I would find the thought of leaving behind supplies, especially ones that will be used by unworthy, infuriating. But with how far we have to travel, and the amount we’re already going to be haling, I’m fine with this course of action. Though I highly doubt it will dissuade all, many of these Maidens were once Hierarchs. They're used to getting what they want.

‘They’ll get enough supplies to last, to weather the worst the Voices have for some time.’ Bliss said, slightly pulling herself away as the vessel Uoth moved towards and wrapped an arm tightly around one of Vollow’s.

Vollow displayed the sign of speaking with her. In return the vessel Uoth gave a thin smile, and to Bliss amusement notice the thing grip grow tighter, and pressed itself closer to the vessel Vollow. The will inside it sighed, but Bliss could sense happiness in it, deep down the will found joy at the degree of want the vessel Uoth was showering it with.

The will inside Vollow turned its attention back to her. ‘The Maidens want House Bae to stay, Bliss, these women are also used to people following their word. They will not take being ignored all that well.’

‘You sound as if you’re in agreement with Nowth, that those who’ve yet to commit themselves to the Divine should be cleansed.’ Bliss commented with as close as she could in a disappointed tone.

‘No,’ the will said. ‘Not even close to that, I’m merrily advising you, Nowth and my younger siblings don’t understand, they haven’t experience Father being upset with one of them. I understand why you’re being so careful Bliss, avoiding Fathers Wrath, making sure it doesn’t surface is a wise choice. No matter what trouble the unworthy will cause, they would never amount to what a Wrathfully Divine could do.’

Bliss smiled bright, sent a large dose of herself, of His Warmth into it. The will inside shuddered, gaining the attention of the other again. The little vessel frowned its already tight grip, grew even worse. Bliss pulled away and smiled it. Let it see her as she reached out and caressed the jealous one cheek. Sent warmth coursing into it. The jealous will shivered, but remained unmoving.

‘I like you Bliss that of a Bedsister, even more, but still. He’s mine.’ The will said with conviction.

Bliss kept the width of her smile. ‘I know my sweet child, but even so, I care for all, that is the Task placed upon me.’ Bliss pushed move of herself next to the jealous one, manifest more of the Divines Warmth. The Thing began to relax, its gaze going distant as Bliss showed a glimpse of paradise, tried to lure the will in. The will moved slowly towards it, Bliss smile growing larger, then dimmed when the will in Vollow intervened. Moved its hand to brush the other vessel hair and face.

The will in Uoth woke from Blisse's illusion, moved back away from her, and smiled tenderly towards the vessel Vollow. “There is much still to be done Uoth, I can’t have you basking in our Fathers realm and leaving it all for me to complete.”

“Indeed that would be a cursed thing,” the small vessel said making her voice mocking. “Whatever would you do without me guiding you, making sure you stay. Decent.” the last word coming out threating, as the small vessel looked up at the large one. Vollow rolled its eyes, showing surface annoyance. But Bliss could see, even as she gave her own hidden act of glaring at the vessel, that the will inside was pleased with the attention.

Troublesome the final two advisors were being, the first, the will that held control over Sounness was so easy to bring into her. The thing had dissolved when Bliss displayed herself to it, invited it in. It was a joyous and tender moment as the will cried its last, let out all the Others that had consumed it almost hallow. Bliss had expected the other two to be the same, but they haven’t been as tormented, were still whole inside.

Bliss parted from them, let out one last pulse of her affection before leaving the two, who were still intertwined and would likely remain so for a while. She spread her awareness out, listen to an ocean of chatter, an ocean of wrong. So many things that needed to be made right, so many thoughts not revolving around His Desire. They would eventually be made right, one day, but not in the time frame she had originally aimed for. Without His presence, His Light to empty out the vessels of the Others, she was being forced to fight her way in, fight Others that held on in desperation.

Even now she could hear them as well, mingled with the voices of the wills. Trying to influence them away from her, or further down separate paths. Paths that went against His Will, went against the paradise He envisioned, He demanded.

Bliss moved her vessels about, had them go where they were most needed. Be it to disrupt an augment that was becoming too heated, or Servants being given false orders.

She heard and saw Maidens and their ilk that refused to follow His Desire. She witnessed them get in the way of matter numerous times. Each time Bliss smile slowly fell and began to thin. She watched them, studied them and funneled the images and names over to the Chosen.

Requested that they get ready, which they did with eager zeal, Joy bubbled out of them as they did. The will that held Nowth was not alone in its distaste of the ones they called Lowly. Yet another thing to fix, but for now it was useful. Once she was back in the presence of His Light she would begin the mighty Task of making things right. As long as a will and vessel gave themselves to her to Him, there was no Lowly or High, only those right and those wrong.

So many wrong as she watched the soon to be outcast beginning to make more trouble. As the hours passed and the moment of despatcher loomed closer, the Maidens grew more desperate. Their acts of persuasion became more and more close to threats. Anger showed more in them, began guiding their acts, had them move ever closer to the line that decided their fate. Bliss Watched from a chorus of eyes, as talks became arguments, then screaming matches. Then a Maiden lashing out at a Servant who refused to go against His Will. Knocking it down to the floor where the Maiden began kicking at it. Others quickly joined in venting their frustration while a few moved to take what they wanted from the chests.

She sent the image of what was happening to the Chosen, the location as well. They raced towards the area, smiles stretching as they did.

“Family doesn’t harm family,” Bliss said through a Servant, one that had given itself when Bliss and display herself to the will inside. It had been so small and weak, abused, it had fallen into her gladly.

The Maidens turn at her, smiles wicked as they slowly stopped kicking the Servant on the ground. “The Founder isn’t here Lowly, he’s left and is never to return.” One of them said walking towards her. Bliss could see the intention within the things eyes. Saw what the Others wanted, Anger most of all.

“There is still a chance,” Bliss said a smile on her lips “For all of you to change your choice, to give in to His Light.” Bliss looked over at the Servant on the ground bleeding and bruised the vessel knock unconscious. “If the Divine is willing to take you” Bliss added and turned her gaze back to the one moving towards her.

It sneered and when it got close pushed her hard, and kept doing so till the vessel struck a wall. It grabbed her chin after, eyes glaring at her. Anger and Hate clearly displayed. “To the depths with your Founder, you consumed Lowly” the thing said in a heated tone. “And all the others as blind as you, well make sure to cleanse everyone like you, make House Bae into what we were told it was.

Bliss lessened her smile, gave it a look of pity that she’d been practicing. “Oh dear child, my poor sweet child” Her words had it looking at her oddly. “You’re beyond saving, if He had been here I could have rescued you, made you right.” Bliss moved all the essence inside the vessel she controlled, readying it “But He’s not” she placed a hand on the thing chest and gave it one last smile before tendrils of her speared into the thing. She worked her way in sliced the innards of the vessel apart. The thing gurgled, but nothing more before it stumbled to the floor.

She pulled the unclaimed essence to her, and the air, just like He had done. It moved slowly, for she was not Him, not His glaring Desire. But she could make a lesser copy, and it would suffice.

The things stared at her in disbelief, the vessel was after all a Servant, Lowly, in their view. And yet it began to glow as essence rushed into it, she pointed her hand at them. Their eyes went wide, Fear was there screaming at them to act, and they did, just too slowly. Making all sorts of singing sounds, slowly giving shape to what they wanted. Unlike her, and unlike Him. She formed sharpened wind that sailed out cutting them down before their hands were at the ready. The Others in them dissolving away at the loss of the wills that maintained them.

Bliss formed a barrier around the vessel she was controlling, as those ransacking the chests sent chants at her. It held and Bliss hardened it, infusing more essence into her work, while she also collected additional essence from the realm. The things were ruled by Fear now, Bliss could see it hastily plucking at strings getting the vessels under its sway to end her. Bliss smiled at it, at the vessels that could have been so much more if they’d only given themselves to her, to His Will.

“What are you?” one of the things wailed, tears running down its cheek “How are you not dead, you’re a cursed Servant for Giver's sake.”

“I am Bliss,” she said, sending it a look a pity “I could have been there for all of you, guided you to His paradise, if you had only listened.” The Chosen arrived at the end of her words, and without a moment’s hesitation in their strides, sent chants out that dissolved the things assaulting her. Bliss smiled at the sight, a wrong removed. It would have been better if it had been made right, but this was the best the situation would allow.

Bliss turned from the sight, smiled brightly at the Chosen who were gazing at her. “Thank you, my dear children.” She said undoing the barriers around her. The Chosen nodded at her and began cleaning away the mess the things destruction had caused. Bliss, however, focused on the Servant the things had damaged.

She condensed the essence she had been collecting, and guided it into the damaged vessel, undid the harm the things had caused. Bliss sat next to the Servant and cradled its head. She began humming to it, began merging the essence with herself into the vessel, and the will that laid dormant. Bliss called out to it, forming the illusion of paradise around herself.

The vessel shivered, the will inside stirring awake as the vessel eyes opened lazily. Bliss smiled down at it, as she brushed its hair. “Yue?” the thing asked in confusion and tried to sit up but Bliss held it in place. Sent more of herself into it and formed the loving glow of His Will inside her. The thing gasped, relaxed and its head laid heavy against Blisse's legs.

“Oh, my dear child, how are you? Bliss asked her words filled with warmth.

“That voice.” the vessel said staring at up at her with wonder, the will inside quivering with excitement and relief. “Bliss?” the thing half asked, and she smiled at it caressing its cheek affectionately.

“I saw how brave you were,” Bliss said, “How you stayed true to His will, even when supposed Highers came to drag you away.” The mention of it had the will glancing around, it saw the bodies lying around it, and shock and relief flowed out. “I saw you stand strong, even as they promised pain, and then delivered when you wouldn’t break.” The will looked back up at her, tears forming at the corner of the vessels eyes.

“The Divine doesn’t abandon anyone, they abandon him, but you didn’t. And so here I am , his greatest servant to shelter you my sweet and wonderful child.” The vessel moved but Bliss didn’t stop it this time, she knew what it wanted. It wrapped itself around her, hugged her tight as it began to cry.

“That’s right my dear, let it all out.” The will inside moved closer, and Bliss submerged it with her light and an illusion of His. The illusion of paradise magnified as she lured the will closer. “Your reward” she whispered to it, and the will pressed against her, pushed into her embrace and they merged. Bliss let out a sigh of content, as a new vessel became her. One that stopped crying and slowly pulled itself away. Bliss allowed the small self-indulgence of smiling at herself. Before both vessels lifted from the floor and got to work cleaning the mess around them.

She turned her awareness to the Chosen that were in the room, some had been watching the exchange, smiling warmly at it. All approved, happy to see Lowly giving themselves fully to their Father. And yet they had not done it themselves. Bliss could feel their reasoning for it, the belief that they were guides themselves. Making sure the Lowly and easily led astray were secured first before they passed the gate into paradise. A hindering belief, but one Bliss wasn’t willing to challenge until they were within His Light again. Their wills made soft and easy to sway as she swelled to infinite heights.

‘My children’ she said to all of the Chosen within the estate ‘The line has been crossed.’ She sent the vision of what happened, and what the thing had said to her before she began removing them. Bliss felt a surge of Rage form, one she smothered away. She also felt a surge of joy, especially from Nowth at the news. The Chosen had been waiting a long time for any excuse to cleanse the so-called Lowly.

‘They are to be removed.’ Bliss sounded out, “but if they choose to fight back, refuse to leave.’ Bliss paused and dimmed some at the thought of so many useful tools about to be ruined. ‘Then they are to be cleansed.’ She finally said, the words forming another wave of joy as she felt the many Chosen smile and cheer.

She focused on Nowth, who did the same in turn as her form manifest. Its smile was wide and full of sharp teeth. ‘Remember’ she said gazing down at it ‘they are to be removed first, cleansing only if they refuse.’

“Of Course Bliss, of course,” Nowth said merrily as it was running down the halls with the others. “I’ll make sure things go right.” Bliss felt the other part it didn’t say, how it was Offering to the Giver that things went wrong, that the outcasts fought, and that it would get to purge.

‘I will fix you’ Bliss thought 'I will cleanse you of these thoughts, I will make you right.’ Bliss watched it go racing with the others to commit an ill act the Divine would frown upon even though necessary. ‘I will make you all right, make it that this never happens again.’
