Chapter 3

"Back then, everytime you lost, you would come running back to me crying," Lin Meng let out a melodious laugh, "You were so cute."

She gently ruffled his hair. Lin Meng had been reminiscing their childhood for the past hour. Because of the 10 year age gap, it would always be about how much the original owner of this body relied on her. Lin Feng wasn't even the person she was talking about but he felt embarassed in his place.

Just when Lin Meng was about to continue talking, the door opened and a slender woman with dark, brown hair entered the room. Her hair was neatly swept over one ear to leave one long bang to slightly cover her face. A pair of black rimmed spectacles was donned over her face. Nonetheless, it could not conceal her beauty. Her milky white skin sparkled under the ray of sunlight piercing through the curtain. Cherry red lips and a small, straight nose. A flawless face.

She wore a short sleeve white dress shirt under a lab coat along with a pencil skirt and stockings to accentuate her long legs. Her breasts were on the smaller side but fitted well with her slender stature.

"Yuhan." Lin Meng greeted her with a smile.

"CEO Lin." Teng Yuhan nodded softly in return.

Doctor Teng looked over to Lin Feng and asked with her silky voice. "How do you feel?"

"...Weak..." Lin Feng replied with difficulty. He had regained the ability to barely talk a few days back.

She smiled and returned her attention to Lin Meng. "CEO Lin, it should be appropriate to take off his feeding tube now. If you would please sign this."

Teng Yuhan handed Lin Meng a clipboard with a several pieces of paper attached to it. Lin Meng did not sign it right away but carefully read through every paper before signing it off a couple of minutes later.

"I can also feed him, right?"

"Of course. You may take over from the nurses whenever you want."

"That's good." Lin Meng nodded before handing the clipboard back to Doctor Teng. "When will his catheters be removed?"

Teng Yuhan took a few second to think before answering, "We don't usually take it off until the patient go into physical rehab... It will probably be a few months from now."

Lin Meng seemed to have expected this answer, "It would be great exercise from him if he starts using the restroom early. The nurses and myself can also be of assistance."

Doctor Teng went silent and said, "We can give it a go if he regains some movement. Why don't you help him stretch his legs so his senses comes back faster?"

"Sure thing." Lin Meng nodded.

"Please excuse me while I take his feeding tube off." Doctor Teng approached Lin Feng while Lin Meng promptly backed away.

The feeding tube was attached to Lin Feng's nose so Teng Yuhan had to come quite close to Lin Feng's face. He couldn't help but blush a little when their face almost touched. He could see that her face had not a single blemish on it. It was like the finest porcelain- white and creamy. While Lin Feng was dazzled by her beautiful features, their gaze met. Her clear, intellectual eyes behind the pair of black rimmed glasses were intoxicating to look at. She gave him a delicate smile to break the awkwardness before pulling the tube out.

"All done." Doctor Teng reported to Lin Meng before walking towards the door with the tube in her hand. "Your first meal after 10 years will be here soon."

Teng Yuhan gave Lin Feng a smile before walking out the door.

"Your first meal... Aren't you excited?" Lin Meng gently held Lin Feng's now half-paraylzed hand.

"...I...don't...think...it...would...be...very...fun...to...eat...like..this..." Lin Feng uttered each word out slowly. He could move some body parts somewhat but it would require a huge amount of effort.

Lin Meng let out a hearty laugh and gripped his hand tighter with her soft hands. "Baby steps. Baby steps."

A while later, a young nurse brought a cart with porridge into the room. Lin Meng told her, "I'll do it. You may leave now."

The young nurse bowed and left the room. Lin Meng took the bowl of porridge into her hands before adjusting her chair.

"Are you ready?" Lin Meng smiled sweetly. It might've been his imagination but it seems as though there was some... excitement in her eyes.

"Mhmm,"

She proceeded to place a spoonful of porridge in front of her face before carefully blowing it so it doesn't burn Lin Feng's throat.

"Say ahhh," Lin Meng brought the spoon before Lin Feng's lips with one hand below the spoon so it doesn't fall on him.

Lin Feng's heart started to beat faster at Lin Meng's actions and obediently opened his mouth wide. She smiled before carefully placing the spoon inside his mouth.

"Good boy."

Lin Feng's broken heart beated even faster at her words.

"One more time. Say ahhh," Lin Meng lovingly said before leaning closer.

By the time they were done, Lin Feng was sweating profusely from having his heartrate fluctuate so much. It was quite awkward as the heartrate monitor was right in front of Lin Meng and he could hear her chuckling "so cute" under her breath.

"We're done. That wasn't so hard, was it?" Lin Meng stood up and placed the bowl on the cart. "Ah, there's something left."

Before Lin Feng could say anything, Lin Meng suddenly leaned down in front of his face. As she was still standing, he could see her bountiful pair of breasts jiggling right before his eyes. Her seemingly boneless, soft hands moved to the sides of Lin Feng's face to keep it still before she opened her kissable lips to let her lilac tongue lick to lick the sides of his lips.

It was as if time had stopped when her moist touched the corner of Lin Feng's lips. Lin Feng held himself breathless in the moment and stared in shock. He felt like his heart was going to burst out. Unfortunately, the moment only lasted a couple of seconds. Before he noticed it, she was already off him.

"There was some porridge left on your mouth." she heatedly said as she backed off. "I have to go to work now. I'll see you in the evening if you're awake."

Lin Feng could do nothing as Lin Meng's curvy form disappeared through the door. His eye moved to the completely blank, white ceiling. His broken heart seems to be... less fragmented now.
