《Dragon Ball: Saga Of The Strongest Human》Chapter 107: Another Scroll

Waking up from his slumber Darc leaned upwards and yawned. Then he looked with teary eyes to both his right and left side. At each of them was a woman soundly sleeping and clinging somewhat to him. It put a satisfied smile on his face.
´Come to think. I still haven't asked Chronoa about that matter.´, he thought after fixating his gaze on Arkis sleeping face.
Noticing some strands of hair falling down to her face, Darc gently put those back behind her ear. He even caressed it a little and a little smile appeared on Arkis her face.
Being somewhat sober from the initiate tiredness it didn't take long after that and Darc levitated from the bed and got himself dressed.
"Already awake?" The voice that asked the question was from Bulma that also had her eyes slightly open now.
"Yes, didn't think I would wake you up. Rest some more if you feel tired.", answered Darc while still putting his clothes on.
"Mmm~ alright..." After a second examination, her voice was clearly still somewhat sleepy and she just cuddled around Arkis.
Seeing that Darc only sighed slightly but didn't bother about it. He just left them be and left the room.
Now that he was married and nothing came interrupting that occasion, he could get his head back on track and start thinking on that information he got from his clone.
Speak of the devil. Just at that moment, a telepathic message reached him.
*Hellloooo~ or Good morning? Darc, can you come by to visit me?*
*Chronoa? Well, sure. Good thing you asked me now and not yesterday. Since the wedding is over I got some time. I also did want to ask you something*, he answered her.
*Oh! Right, congratulations!! Hehe, I am kind of envious for Arkis now. You know, normally we Kaioshin never engage in a relationship with mortals like that. With our lifespans being so much greater than them and all that....But it's still nice to see it happening. To tell the truth, Arkis was very distracted lately. I guess now I know the reason. I knew about it but not when it was planned. Actually, you could have invited me! Meanies!!*

*Haha, sorry about that. But I did try to reach you. You just didn't answer. I guessed you were occupied.*
*True....That is why I contact you. I...made another discovery about a scroll.*
Darc his facial expression immediately became serious when he heard that. Chronoa her voice sounded a little bit weird, to tell the truth. A lot more serious than normal for sure. Even more serious than serious. *On my way*
-----
At the time vault, Chronoa was waiting for Darc to appear. And it was pretty instant that he did so after his words.
"So, what is it you want to show me this time." Darc didn't start any chitchat this time and just got to the main point.
"Its this scroll this time." Chronoa handed him another black scroll and he unfolded it.
"The GT timeline?", murmured Darc.
"GT?", questioned Chronoa in a curious manner.
Darc looked up over the scroll straight at her. "Grand Tour. If I am not wrong in this timeline Goku and the others are traveling the Galaxies to collect the Dragon Balls of Ultimate Shenron, no?"
"That is what you call it? Well, it is correct in a way. But that already happened. It is a little bit later at the point where Baby is beaten. Look closely at the scroll.", explained Chronoa and didn't go further into the topic where he knew about that timeline. In the end, he did look around the vault from time to time when he came for a visit on his own.
Darc just put his gaze back on it and saw the fight with Baby. Transforming into a Super Saiyan 4 Goku overpowered Baby pretty easily but something went wrong around that point.
Darc could only frown after he saw how Baby suddenly started to transform again. "Damn...Baby Vegeta 4...."
"Exactly...", confirmed Chronoa to him. "That should not have happened."

"Pretty unlucky moment. Baby manipulated the Saiyan DNA to be a tad stronger than the normal one. With him going SSJ4...He will be unstoppable. So, what do you expect me to do here? I would just go in and die pathetically. The strength levels of that timeline are just a tad too much for me at the moment. Any other scrolls I can tackle."
"No, that is the thing...Look at the other scrolls.", said Chronoa with a saddened look.
Darc sighed and looked around at the bookshelves where all the time scrolls where stored. "Damn...All of them are sealed shut? What is this violet mark?"
"That mark came from this scroll." Chronoa still held the scroll from before. "Unless we get this fixed we will not be able to use any other scrolls. Arkis her training will also stagnate if we don't solve this problem."
Darc scratched his head now. Thinking a little bit he turned around and walked back to Chronoa. "Only one way to handle this then. Hopefully, I can manage it somehow. Toss me the scroll."
On Darc his order, Chronoa threw over the scroll. "Wish me luck." With those words, Darc disappeared and time traveled to the scrolls timeline.
"Good luck, Darc.", said Chronoa and looked behind herself. "Are you really sure this is necessary?" She asked a figure that was now appearing there.
"Very much so. I am interested in how he will manage. And you are sure that time scroll will give him a very hard challenge?" The figure lazily picked its teeth with a claw of from its hand to get something out between its sharp teeth.
"Yes, my lord.", replied Chronoa with a slight frown.
"Lord Beerus. It may end up with the death of Darc.", interrupted another person in a neutral manner. Now it was obvious that it was Beerus and Whis standing there.
"Whis, if the boy can't handle this much then he is not worthy of being an apprentice in this time nest. And you know we have to test him since he dared to marry a god....and he woke me up because of that..." His voice became somewhat grumpy at the second sentence.
"Lord Beerus. Maybe you should stop sleeping so much. Then you would not miss things like these.", said Whis and he had an undertone in his voice. Probably telling Beerus to stop slacking off.
"Hmpf.", harumphed Beerus in response. "We will just wait until he is finished. From the strength he is radiating he is not much of fight. And I only had slept for 20 years. Normally nothing much could happen in that timespan."
"There are still some undone duties that you have not finished yet, Lord Beerus."
"Alright, alright. Stop annoying me. Fine, Time Kai. Contact me when he is done. I will go and destroy some planets until then.", said Beerus and walked behind Whis to put a hand on his shoulder.
Whis only did a bow to say goodbye to Chronoa and teleported away with Beerus to somewhere in the universe. If Darc knew what happened at that moment he would start panicking a little bit.
Chronoa was also a little bit worried about Darc. Lord Beerus may not know about that timeline nor the Saiyans that are in it yet, but Chronoa did know very well what was in it.
