《Dragon Ball: Saga Of The Strongest Human》Chapter 102: Thank You

After Frieza his forces were nearly gone, Darc thought about something fun and teleported with everyone else back to the outpost. There he saw Ocora transporting Turles to a temporary holding cell.
Arkis noticed something about Darc and curiously asked him "Are you planning to break the truce already?"
Darc looked at her and smiled. That she could notice it surprised him a little. "No, I don't plan on doing that. I just want to gather some information. And it's not like anything dangerous will happen."
She looked at him and nodded after a while.
At the holding cells, Ocora and the others gathered around Turles and looked at him.
"Well, looks like we found another one of our people. But this one seems unredeemable.", said Maiz after he scratched his chin in thought.
Turles only glared at them. "Damn traitors...", he said back in a low voice.
"Traitors, huh? The only one that is a traitor is you. Frieza destroyed our planet and you served him.", said Ocora back after hearing his words.
Turles made a weird expression. It was not of surprise but more one of indifference "So what? Either King Vegeta or Frieza. What makes the difference? They both lead our people the wrong path, either way. That is why I pursued power on my own in the first place. And I only went back to Frieza because you gave me no choice...After all, I still value my life. We Saiyan are not many anymore, right? Should we not stick together? Why don't you let me out and help a fellow comrade?", reacted Turles to their revelation and tried to wriggle himself out.
Ocora frowned and snorted somewhat. She let Maiz decide what to do because he was de facto the leader of the Saiyan race. Even if he wasn't the strongest, that didn't matter.
One thing they learned when they started all this, was how wrong their previous lifestyle was not the right one.
Soon a new King or Queen would be crowned and not based on pure power but on pure leadership. Ocora was more of a fighter than a thinker. So she didn't care for that position.
Maiz looked at her behavior and could understand it quite well. He was also a little bit angry that they had a truce with that monster but that also enabled them time to search for more of their people and maybe a new home planet to settle on. Their numbers increased somewhat in the last few months traveling through the galaxies.
Maybe he would even take Darc on his offer and just settle on earth. The only requirement was that they would follow the earth´s rulers and laws. That is as far a possible as they could. The only real problem would be the moon.
Either they search a new planet or discard their tails. And the second option was something Maiz was very hesitant about. That is also why Maiz still very much would like to find a suitable planet.
"We will not free you. You have crossed both Frieza and our own people. So you will be imprisoned in jail.", said Maiz now after having thought about his decision.

"That is the right decision, Maiz.", said Darc from behind after approaching them with Arkis and hearing his words.
The group looked at Darc and Turles could see how the gazes of his brethren were filled with respect to this person.
"Tsk, If I were not handcuffed I would beat the hell out of you lot. You follow such a dimwit who is using his connections with higher beings to somewhat frighten Frieza to strike a truce with the GP. Those fruits are precious treasures that increase our power exponentially. He will use them wisely.", ridiculed Turles them.
"Hmm? Very talkative, are you? So you want to tell me you are worthy of being outside that cage? Well, lets...", answered Darc at first but then his demeanor became ugly and a dark aura surrounded him for a short amount of time. "Hmm?"
Feeling that suffocating feeling, he looked into a certain direction where he felt it coming from and tried to trace whatever was peeking on him but just as fast as the feeling arrived, it also disappeared.
Arkis saw him react to something while in mid-sentence. "Is something wrong?", she asked.
"Hah! Look, your so-called general seems even to be a lunatic.", remarked Turles after seeing that.
"Enough!", shouted Arkis now with frowned brows. She still saw Darc searching for something with his telepathy and took it from here. She probably knew what he wanted to do. "You feel so powerful? Maiz, open his cage. I will heal him up so he doesn't bicker that he was injured or anything. Then he will get to fight your weakest member. That should be Been, right?", she said and asked Maiz.
He nodded. "That is correct in term of BP. But Been has made a lot of progress in his control and could rival Ruco by now. Maybe it is better to let Ruco do the job.", he answered her and stated some facts he noticed from his teammates.
"Huh!? You telling me I am already being outperformed by Been? Damn it...", reacted Ruco now after being mentioned. "But fine, I will beat up this idiot to show him that even arrogance has some limit. I am still surprised how he can be like this after we chased him so much...", he added and walked over to a little bit of free space where he started stretching a little.
Arkis healed him fully up and released him. "Don't even try to run.", she said and pushed him towards Ruco. Then she diverted her gaze and looked at Darc.
"Hmpf, I only fled because of this damn woman...I will show you how powerful I have become with those fruits.", smirked Turles now.
Preparing his stance, Ruco saw Turles only standing there with his arms crossed.
"If you don't put up your defense, this will really hurt. Just as a reminder.", he stated without really giving a fuck about if he defended or not.
"Just begin already.", said Turles back and still smirked.
"What an idiot. I think we don't even need this fool. He is even worse than Ruco.", commented Ocora now.

Ruco heard that. "Hey! I heard that! Tsk, now my mood is bad.", he said and charged at Turles. And with no real surprise, the first hit sends Turles flying backward a few meters.
He stood back up in shock and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. "What the hell. This power...Alright, seems like I need to take this seriously. Haaaa!" Turles powered up with the old-fashioned pump up and charged at Ruco on his own.
Ruco sighed and changed his form and stood upright. Then he gently intercepted Turles his right fist and sidestepped with his left leg to the left side. With that, he easily was beside Turles. Being shocked only lasted for a nanosecond before the right knee of Ruco hit Trules in his abdomen and knocked him unconscious.
Scratching his head while still holding Turles his hand he looked at Arkis. "Whoops, looks like I overdid it. Well, back to the cell with him." Just when he dragged him there, Turles regained his conscious and groaned. "Oh, sooner up than I thought. At least your body is a little bit more
sturdy?", said Ruco to him and placed him back in the cage and also handcuffed his arms.
"Damn it...How can you guys be this strong...That makes no sense...What was all the hardship I went through to get that damn tree...", mumbled Turles.
"The Tree of Might may increase your power on consumption but its effect is only the highest on the first fruit. Every other fruit after that is only increasing your power temporarily. Well as a Saiyan even with that you can take advantage because your body memorizes some of that power but it would still be marginal. And consuming more than..lets say 3 fruits in a short period of time will result in a chaotic disharmony of your energies. To make it short, you would even lower your power and hurt your progress. Frieza probably also found that out and is willing to part with the tree with that reason in mind. Not because I asked nicely...Well, in a short amount you can boost your troop's strength somewhat but on the long run, it would just be ineffective. Just considering the number of nice planets it would destroy that he wants to cash in on.", explained Darc now after coming back from his little trance.
"Looks like you got your lesson. Oh, and to make something sure, Turles. I am waaaaaay stronger than even Arkis here.", he added with a smile.
"Then lets train again. I don't have much to do right now and want to improve.", said Arkis after hearing his words.
"Hmm, true. Alright, Maiz. Wrap everything up here and return to the outpost. Find your people but try to not make any conflicts. We are in a truce after all. Of course, pirates and other idiots are still a go. And keep an eye on the moves of the Frieza army just to make sure. When Lite gets back I hope you can take over his responsibilities.
Hearing his words he saluted with his fist over his left chest. That made Darc twitch a little because it reminded me of something. But then again it was the GP salute. The fist over the logo as symbolism to protect.
"What do we do with the Tree though?", asked Maiz before letting Darc go.
"Oh, that. I will take care of it. The seed I will take with me for research.", answered Darc and raised one of his hands. Then he concentrated unto the planets energies. After that, he pinpointed the tree like a leech and extracted its energy.
Slowly a sizeable Genkidama formed above himself and everyone was worried. What was Darc doing now? Did he want to blast it? Only Arkis stayed calm.
After a few seconds, he opened his eyes and twisted his wrist. The energy popped like a balloon and dispersed back to the planet like beautiful snow falling on the ground in the winter.
The tree of might was already dried up and withering away. It wouldn't recover and also wouldn't harm the energy of this planet anymore. At some point, the planet would recover.
"That should do it. Now, I will be leaving. take care.", he said with a smile leaving everyone once more in awe.
But before he could teleport some light gathered up in front of him moved around like a little wisp. It moved around his body like a little child playing around. Then it stopped and shined a little bit brighter.
Darc, as well as Arkis, raised their eyebrows. They actually were surprised themselves to see this.
After it finished to shine it seemed to have condensed some sort of small marble. Just as big as a nail but still a marble. Then it flew around Darc his hand until he raised it and it dropped the marble.
"Are you giving me this as a thank you?", chuckled Darc a little. Where planets always this conscious? He grasped the marble. "Thanks."
But the light still didn't leave. It moved from his hand to his mouth. Back and forth.
"You want me to eat it?", asked Darc a little bit hesitant. He didn't know what this was after all.
The wisp reacted happily after hearing his question.
"Oh well, down the hatch I guess.", he said and swallowed.
Suddenly he felt some scorch in his throat followed by a cool aftertaste. Then all his surroundings looked clearer than before and colors started to form that he never really saw before.
"Wow...Am I on drugs now?", exclaimed Darc and looked around. He saw near invisible mist all around and when moving his hand he could slightly feel it.
"Are you okay?", asked Arkis from the side. She also saw the wisp happily fly around and then disappear.
"I think so? It's just weird. I feel like I got a new sense? Sixth sense maybe? Well, let's put that aside and move home.", answered Darc and shook his head to get a hold of himself to not completely trip over this new way of seeing things. He was kinda curious what the planet gave him?

You have such an amazing way to make the words flow and unbelievable descriptions. Unique characters and a great story line. All the small clues and mystery in the humor and fantasy just makes the book perfect in my opinion. I read all chapters in two days! Less than 48 hours even! I'm REALLY looking forward to the next update, the world of Aethernea is so deep and well thought out, it's beautiful and magical. God I can't believe how creative you are, so many small details with so many families and stories everywhere. Purely fantastical, I admire you." - astro-logical from Wattpad "I love love love Aethernea so much! It is amazing how you created this new world with different creatures, magics, looks, illnesses, and evil! I was blown away by your explanation of the Mana pools and how to weave magic! Simply stunning really! You are one of my favorite authors and Wattpad and I am so glad I stumbled upon Aethernea because it is worth all of my time reading!" - Adriana_V_Blade from Wattpad "I absolutely am loving Aethernea so far. I am certain you belong in the ranks among J.K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, Suzane Collinings, and many more great and wonderful authors. You opened up a whole new world for me, which only a few great authors have accomplished. While it's true I am pulled into each and every book, few are able to capture me to the point of inescapability. Though, somehow, you have managed this feat. I thank you for this and more! You are a wonderful author and can't wait for more to come!" - daughterofpercabeth7 from Wattpad "WOW! just caught Aethernea in gravity tales! Just when I was getting tired of most xianxia novels this appears and completely blows my mind! I really like the depth and the humorous touch you give the characters and it seems you have the storyline well thought out since you are always hinting about things in the past and the future. It has been such an enjoyable experience that I couldn't stop reading, finishing it in just one day and laughing my way through most of the episodes. But what keeps me so excited for what's coming is the magic system and the professions of the world you are creating. The magic mechanics have such a huge potential! They are simple but at the same time they open so many possibilities. Even though we still only understand the basics of transmutation and augmentation, I expect them to enable fights where there is need of quick thinking and skill, and not just brainless overpower of every opponent. In a way this makes me reminiscent about The Mistborn Series by Brandon Sanderson, which are one of my favorite series ever. The thing that sets Mistborn apart from any other series is that the mechanics are so well thought out that they could be used to create a super cool triple A video game and I cannot help but hope Aethernea reaches the same level or even surpass it. I really think it has that potential. Really hope this series gets the attention it deserves. As for me, Thursdays and Sundays just got a whole more exciting! =)" - AlexMLion "Your writing is fantastic and riveting, the chapters and character flow so smooth, and it captivates the reader with the many twist and turns that tricks one mind into thinking this is about to happen, when suddenly the exact opposite happens. You truly are in inspirational writer with a brilliant mind that can see and put words into chapters and into this one truly awesome book. Thank you!" - AshleyStaar from Wattpad "I loved this story, such detailed description and accurate words, both Kiel and Elaru completely caught my attention, your writing style is just beautiful and the plot is astounding and it's just the first episode! This kind of fantasy stories are my favourite, it has a lot of magic in it, rivalry and sense of humour." - BlackWhiteD from Wattpad
