《Dragon Ball: Saga Of The Strongest Human》Chapter 76: Events Unfolding

Somewhere in the north part of the universe on a red planet a fist hit a wall of rocks and smashed it into smithereens.
"Damn it!", the person shouted while looking at the wall. "This damn galactic police is getting more annoying than they were a few months ago. Now they are even getting in our way of conquering planets!"
"Relax, Vegeta. The guys that are being sent after us are still only weak pawns. We don't need to fear them. Keep your cool.", answered another person with long black hair that went down to his hips. "Even Nappa looks more composed than you are. It is unlike you."
"Ha, that idiot is only thinking about fighting. Don't compare me to him. I am not a braindead idiot that rushes into fights without considering my options. You know as well as me that Frieza has increased the demand from us. And with these guys around it will take longer. Getting hurt unnecessary increases our time taken as well.", rebuked the figure with shorter spiky hair that was about shoulder length. "And you Raditz. You aren't a lot of help to us as well. How about you get your head out of your arse and get stronger. But I guess I can't expect something from a low-class warrior like you."
Raditz only frowned and didn't say anything to those words. He knew better not to go against royalty.
"We still could get ourselves some reinforcement. There are some Saiyan survivors on some planets still around. How about my brother? I do know the location he was sent to. It was a low-level planet. His survival should be 90% certain.", gave Raditz back as a suggestion. After all, there were some amount of people they could get in contact with.
They had their coordinates and believing that all Saiyan were dead while having a culture of sending their younglings to other planets to conquer is a lunatics dream. There were some just like Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz here that survived the meteor that hit planet Vegeta or had other circumstances to survive. Sure, if they died that would be bad but there still was a chance those younglings still survived. There may even be surviving adults somewhere.
"Hmm, not a bad idea. Alright, let's get that brother of yours into our team. Since he is Bardock's son as well I hope he is stronger than you. We need a powerful fighter.", nodded Vegeta and walked away in the direction of some explosion on the planet. It was Nappa fighting some local wildlife to get some food for them.

Raditz looked upwards to the sky. "Dear brother. We will soon meet again...I hope you became a strong fighter. If not, then this will be a waste.", mumble Raditz.
"Raditz! Go prepare the food!", shouted a bald dude to him. It was Nappa.
"Damn it...", grumbled Raditz. "At some point, I will pay you back you damn baldy."

"Lord Frieza! We got information that the western universe is taken over by the galactic patrol. If news from our spies are correct then even Glaze is dead.", said a soldier kneeling and reporting.
"Glaze is dead? Hmpf looks like that arrogant traitor finally got what he deserved. But that explains a lot lately. Send a message to all our troops that they shall come back here and defend our own territory. We need to collect strength. The last day I got rid of one of those pesky GP generals. They seem to get more active in my territory. And I don't like that one bit.", ordered Frieza to his henchman.
"Yes, your lordship." before he went away he still got a lingering question "What about the Saiyans? Shall we bring them back as well?", he asked.
Frieza thought about the question and looked into the vastness of space. "No, let them be. Let us see how far they can go. If they can survive being surrounded by the GP they should get more useful. Of course, if they get too strong and try to betray me, you know what to do.", said Frieza and whipped his tail on the floor.
The soldier nodded and left the command room.
"Father, what do you think of the events lately?", asked Frieza and looked to the side on a monitor.
"It looks like we need to prepare for a full out war with the galactic police. Do not take them for weak. They do seem to avoid us somewhat but they won't do that for eternity. You may be powerful son but you are alone and without an army, ruling an entire universe will be problematic.", answered King Cold on the other side of the call.
"I think the same. Coming back to the General from the GP I mentioned. It looks like I will have to take a little bit of time to train. That those pesky little rats are actually strong enough to force me to use 50% of my power. I can't ignore such a thing.", said Frieza in thought.

King Cold remained silent to these words at first. "They are rare cases, son. And even with that, they are nowhere near as strong as you. Why don't you just get a new transformation? That should make you strong enough to eliminate everyone you want. Your brother Cooler has one. So you should be able to do it as well. He even tried to hide it from me.", he said to Frieza.
"A transformation that increases my power and doesn't suppress it? Hmm, that sounds interesting. I shall work on that then. With that, no one will be able to match my power, hohohoho."
With those words, the talk ended.

Back on earth Darc and Arkis appeared at the Capsule Corporation. They went inside and met with Bulma and Tights talked with each other.
Tights noticed Darc and went over to him. "Congratulation, you stud. So, we are family for real now, huh?", she said to him and Bulma was shocked that she would just go and say something to him like that.
"Huh?", arched Darc his eyebrows at her words. ´What? Family for real? Wait, don't tell me´, he thought and looked at Bulma. She saw his gaze and looked away. She was somewhat nervous how he would react now.
Darc went over to her and knelt down in front of her. Then he touched her belly with his hand and could feel it now. Why was he so oblivious to it. "You really did get fat, Bulma", he said to her.
That ticked her off "Hey! Who is fat!?", she shouted but when she looked at him she saw him smiling at her with a happy expression. Her anger faded away at that moment.
He stood back up and tipped her forehead with a finger lightly. "You should have told me, you know." Then he gave her a kiss and Bulma blushed from that. He never kissed her in front of others.
"I am very happy right now.", grinned Darc and he actually felt really happy in his heart. So he was going to have a child. In his previous life he actually never came to that point and he wasn't sure if he really was ready for it and Bulma knew that since he said those words himself but now that it is a fact he should take it and enjoy this moment. "
Then what I am going to say now should make you happy as well. Because of some things that happened, I will now stay at earth for the next 2 years.", he added
Hearing those words a happy glimmer appeared in Bulma´s eyes. Tights also came over an smirked. "See, I told you he wouldn't just abandon you. Silly sister.", said Tights
"Good, then I also don't need to keep quiet about it, hehe. And I did keep my promise and getting him back as soon as possible.", chuckled Arkis now as well.
"Thank you, Arkis.", said Bulma to her and smiled at her. Both of them understood each other really well from the looks of it.
"Wait, you knew about it? Since when and why didn't you tell me?", asked Darc after he looked at her.
"I noticed it after I touched her at the time when you measured your strength. And Bulma didn't say anything. So I thought I shouldn't either.", she answered.
"Hmm, that's true. Oh well. Let's celebrate then. By the way, which month are you now?", grinned Darc and looked at Bulma.
"2 and 1/2.", she said with certainty. "Also, if you ever call me fat again I will smack you.", she added after being reminded about her state.
"Hehe. Just thinking about it just made me tease you. That's all, really.", said Darc.
All four of them started a happy talk and Ms. and Dr. Briefs both joined the conversation. Then Darc called his parents. They only laughed at him that he noticed now. So he found out even they knew it and that his mother was already in a high mood to get shopping for their grandchild. Even though they didn't know yet if it will be a girl or boy.

AI means Artificial Intelligence. But those words don't match Al, either of them. Neither Artificial, nor Intelligent. At least not at the beginning. No, an AI requires input, trial & error, and careful observation. But at that point, what makes it any different than human? How are binary choices any different than the choices in a human life. I wager that there is no difference. But what will he think?
8 102The Infinite Labyrinth
(Story complete - Book 1 "Shanghaied", 2 "Shortcuts", 3 "Secrets" and 4 "Sanctions") It is the 19th century, and war smoulders between England and France. Any hope for a quick end to Napoleon's rampage across Europe ended when the Great Gates opened in 1800. For a fortunate few, the strange world of the Infinite Labyrinth offers opportunities, strange descriptors popping in their minds, informing them of growth, and status beyond that of a mere mortal. The materials and power crystal they bring back foster a new age, both military and civilian. Aether-powered Skyships prowl the skies, as all the great nations blessed by the Gates try to turn the blessings of the Labyrinth into immediate advantages. But for Jonas, an apprentice leatherworker, his friend Ira, and so many Londoners, the fabled ones that walk the Labyrinth are distant heroes, seen from afar. They fell short when their Potential was measured, and they fill their mundane lives with distant dreams. One man wants to break the stalemate. The Tyrant of the Dominion of France, Napoleon Bonaparte, has a plan. Eighteen years after the world changed, he will force it to change again. And when civilians are caught in the fallout, the unthinkable happens. Six people, unqualified, forbidden to ever enter the Labyrinth, find themselves stranded in a distant zone, forcefully turned into Professionals. They know little of what that means, but they have to figure out the rules that are now their lot, for they have little hope to escape their predicament otherwise. They need to understand what the descriptors in their minds mean, what each of the strange piece of gear waiting in treasure chests behind terrible guardians can bring them. They have to become Professionals on their own and rejoin the Empire. They will figure out their new lives one way or another. But will there be an Empire waiting for them when the Gates re-open? Caught in a clash of empires and high tiers, they will do what little they can. They will step up and do their best. One way or another. The Infinite Labyrinth is a slice-of-life litRPG adventure set in a real historical setting. It's a hard, crunchy litrpg. Expect blue boxes everywhere, and the system itself is very mathy. It started life as a serial. I prepared some proper worldbuilding, with enough details and background for lots of different potential story arcs, but as I wrote, I realized the main story needs to have a definitive end. So, there are four books in total, for a bit under 1500 pages, plus additional side stories, and even maybe a sequel one day. The Gore tag was added as a precaution because there are a few scenes with some light gore.
8 179Reasons to Stay
Immortality has a cost, it differs from person to person. Some regret seeing their loved ones die, some regret they themselves cannot die, some regret the boredom and some regret nothing. This man regrets not having a choice, so after millions of years of getting shot, beheaded, beaten, stabbed and stoned he escaped from the world by hiding in a bunker with his books. He had studied all forms of science, he had lived history and created art, he was content with being alone with his mind until one day a man with a monocle appears, and he learns the truth. Hi! This is my second novel and I just had this idea when I was trying to sleep and my mind was making me re-live all those goddamn nightmares you don't want when it's 1 am and dark as shit, so I thought of happy things like the fantasy genre and my inevitable death and i'm like why not?

8 91Stoned is Angel's Grace
People believe in what they can see. They believe that all Weeping Angels are bad and they just want more years lost to feed from. Well you are correct, except there is one exception. Because Weeping Angels can think and feel. You see, I'll go back to the original statement. People believe in what they can see. They see Weeping Angels as aliens, but they're not. While they are from another dimension, they're not an alien life form. But instead they are a Heavenly one. A celestial being wrapped in stone. They are the very divine power of God who had been struck down and their Grace turned to stone in order to preserve itself. The thing is, Sam has to figure this out on his own. Or will he have help from a certain Trickster?
