The last days were pretty quiet and not much happened besides Darc and Arkis meditating in the gravity chamber.

It was weird but even meditation under 500 times gravity was much more of a challenge than normal since the energies were way harder to control as the energy inside one's body was constantly being pulled towards the lower part of one's body.

But in the end, it all still helped to improve the control of ki that Arkis benefitted most from since she had a much lower control in that matter than Darc.

Because of the gravity Darc couldn't go into a tranquil state of mind which made him make a mental note to get meditation into his training regime when he did improve the chamber. After all those years Dr. Briefs already came up with an improved version that could increase the gravity to about a thousand times than normal but he would have to work on the ship while he was back on earth.

Darc naturally agreed to improve the chamber and while at it he asked it to be improved with better materials to sustain more strain. All the needed material he could get from the western galaxy since while he trained he didn't forget to visit his lover and also put his idea into action.

At this moment of time, the Capsule Corporation had a branch in the western galaxy and was pretty popular. It improved its sales dramatically in just a mere two months after the words spread. That wasn't really of a surprise though since little capsules that could carry a whole building in them could improve living standards or even help in colonization and many more things.

With the money, the expansion of the branch was financed and different techs and materials were brought back to earth where Hakase was fascinated by it and disassembled them. So his plan was working quite well. One of the major customers were the galactic police themselves. Through the cooperation, the spaceships of the GP also improved slowly but surely and even more, people started to join the cause of a peaceful galaxy. Especially the ones from the northern one.

At earth it was daytime and it was sunny. The people in the city looked at something that looked like a meteor in the air. At first, they all panicked but soon after it decelerated and they saw the Capsule Corp. logo on the object that descended. That made them calm down. They just basically mumbled something about the rich doing weird stuff again.

It was the spacecraft that Darc was flying with. It finally landed back on the earthen ground right at a landing point that Dr. Briefs let build beside the house.

It opened its doors slowly and Darc together with Arkis and the AI Alice came out of the spacecraft.

Alice flew straight to a station that was close to the landing pad and docked itself there. It seemed to upload all data that was way too big to be sent wireless to the main servers.

Walking a bit further he saw Bulma approaching them. She wore a lab coat and a short black skirt with a blue shirt at the top. Her hair was still as long as always. Seems like she won't cut her hair to a short hairstyle anytime soon. She reminded him a lot of the future Bulma actually. Maybe because she is doing a lot of research nowadays?

"Welcome back, you douche. And its good to see you are healthy, Arkis", said Bulma with a smile at him and also greeted Arkis beside him.

Arkis nodded and smiled "It´s also good to see you, Bulma"

"Yeah, yeah. It´s also good to see you. And don't blame me to have been absent for the last 2 months. It was you after all that got hooked to your research all of a sudden. So I figured I could let you be for a while and concentrate on my training. Did you make any progress?", he said and asked her with a smirk on his face after noticing her being a little bit cold to him.

Bulma started to work on the planetary shield at some point and focused on her research so in a way she has preoccupied herself and had no time but that obviously didn't hinder her to still be aggrieved.

Bulma only sighed "Not much actually. It's quite problematic to work on something like that. If I keep with this speed it will only be something realizable in maybe 10 years or so. And that is already an optimistic proclamation. What do you think I am? A robot?"

"No, I just think you are a beautiful and very intelligent woman. I trust you can pull it off. You don't need to push yourself too much. We still got all the time in the world to make it.", he chuckled slightly and complimented her. He got more open with such words lately around her. Looks like even Bulma started to change him somewhat even if they weren't together officially.

Bulma only blushed deeply at his words. "Hmpf. Now using sweet words to talk yourself out of the conversation, are we? Well, this project will still take a while even with that new tech we have access to. But I did improve the sensory ability of those battle power detectors. Scouters, was it?"

She threw him a scouter with a blue lens that looked more like some futuristic sunglasses. Darc put them on and fiddled on both sides to look where the activation button was. Finding it on the right side he activated it and got a reading beside him.

He was actually surprised since the energy reading he got was actually Arkis.

"Whoa! You actually managed to analyze the godly ki I left as research? Neat!", he said surprised and looked at Bulma.

Bulma only proudly pushed out her chest. "As if modifying those things was that hard. After all, I had you who uses both types of energy and could supply me with those energies whenever I needed them."

´Well, if anyone else said that I would say yes but come to think of it. Bulma sure made things that broke common logic. She even created a time machine or another machine that activated the most primal instincts inside a Saiyan and let them turn into a Super Oozaru and reach the so-called Super Saiyan 4. And that a woman like that is my lover right...´, he thought about her smarts and then shortly after smiled at her softly.

Bulma blushed again after noticing his smile and the soft glimmer in his eyes. That was something he normally only showed when they were together and alone. She even looked away after being too embarrassed. That improving that device would make him that proud of her and desire her was too unexpected.

Darc noticed that and chuckled again. Then he concentrated on the reading that Arkis showed. "Hmm. Arkis, can you stop suppressing your energy?", he said and asked her to stop holding back and let all her energy let out.

"Alright?", she wondered but closed her eyes and stopped suppressing her energy. With that a slight wind blew and nothing more. That was the trait of divine ki. It just didn't go berserk everywhere and destroyed everything in its path.

"Oh, a reading of 2.1 Billion in battle power. Even the capacity of these things went up by a whole new dimension. Nice work, Bulma.", he said with a grin.

"What! Why do you have such a gigantic power level? Not even the others got such a high energy...", she exclaimed and thought about Goku and the others with merely of about 200 BP. Those poor guys...But then again Bulma never really measured his energy and didn't know he was only the millions a few years prior. "Dad said to make sure that the device can analyze as much as possible but I didn't think your energies would reach that level." She sighed after noticing her father again thought a step ahead. It was a little bit scary how he knew that Darc would be this...strong? "This device can actually go up to 10 Billion before frying its circuits.", she added to her last words.

Darc nodded at her and then threw the scouter to Arkis. "Measure mine. I am gonna try and keep my rising power to a minimum so that not much happens to the planet. Bulma you should let yourself get supported by Arkis.", he said to Arkis and Bulma.

Arkis nodded and went over to Bulma and put a hand around her waist. Bulma got surprised by that and was kind of confused. Then Arkis activated the scouter and Darc started to charge up his energies steadily. Slowly the winds became stronger and everything around the place where Darc charged up was pushed away from him. Even small pebbles started to rise. Now Bulma also knew why he told her these words. But why was it so much different than Arkis her charge up?

"GRAAAAAAAAAAA!!!", screamed Darc out of his lung and his white aura with electric arcs appear in front of him. His expression on the face changed abruptly to a deep frown and sharp look in his eyes.

"Alright, the reading?", he asked Arkis.

The numbers still rose on the display and finally stayed a certain number. "Battle power of 2 436 967 234...So a battle power of 2.4 Billion.", said Arkis after reading the number.

Bulma bulged her eyes at those numbers now even more since it came from Darc. Was he some kind of nuclear reactor? No, scratch that. Even those couldn't produce that much energy.

Darc suppressed his energy again and everything around him became quiet again. "Looks like I was right with you catching up, Arkis.", he said with a laugh now.
