《Dragon Ball: Saga Of The Strongest Human》Chapter 60: Fight Against Glaze

Darc thoughts were irrelevant in the eyes of his opponents at the moment and they are soon going to attack him.
These guys knew if he was let enough space that he could use that weird technique that the woman used before and get an advantage over them but what they didn't really know yet was that Darc on his own is already stronger than these guys together.
The Bull guy called Gaston that seemed the leader of the special unit had an immense power level but that power may have been threatening to Darc a few years ago. Now it was nothing much at all.
The real reason he started to worry right now was because of Glaze. The aura he felt from him was immensely larger than he thought. It was way stronger than his own in full capacity which said a lot about him.
He also talked and did mention that he could feel his energy. Sure, Darc let some of it leak out at the moment but normally these guys should use scouters to measure his battle power. Even his goons had them on their heads but Glaze himself didn't wear one. That meant he could sense ki and as a result, it meant that this guy was more dangerous than Frieza.
Don't even bother to mention the ki sense. From the aura alone, he felt this guy was at least around 300 million in battle strength and he still looked leisurely calm. So his true strength was probably about 400 million. That far outclassed Frieza in all aspects. And Darc wasn't even going to think that this is his final form.
Even Goku in his untrained Super Saiyan would easily get smacked silly. This guy was already getting close to the android level of strength.
Enough said. Darc wasn't going to go down that easily. He even actually smirked and got excited when Glaze´s subordinates charged from all sides.
They tried to hit him but he dodged all of their attacks and didn't counter-attack yet. That went on the nerves of a green guy and he shot a ki blast at Darc.
Catching the blast and clenching his fist was all that it took to defuse the energy and the guy that wasted his energy just now only gritted his teeth. "Damn, he is way stronger than that woman." He became wary about Darc and now attacked more sneakily while his comrades still tried to hold him in one place.

It went on for a while and these four guys became more and more tired the longer they tried to hit Darc. They made more and more mistakes.
At some point, Darc also got rid of the guy that was already wounded by Arkis. He simply punched through his body in the right moment and destroyed his heart. His body became limb and after Darc pulled his arm back out it fell rapidly to the ground. Not giving a dime about him he blasted his body into ash.
"That was for hurting my partner. Now it's your turn.", said Darc and turn to the other 3 that paused their attack after seeing their comrade die. They also started to sweat and fear him. But they also feared Glaze more so they still went on until only they got killed one after the other.
Only after the Bull leader remained did Glaze intervene.
"Enough already. Gaston, you may retreat. I don't care about you getting killed but it looks like you are no match for him. Wasting resources truly is a waste.", said Glaze.
Gaston immediately tried to retreat but Darc charged up a ki blast to kill him.
"If you value your friends live you better don't shoot that blast.", interrupted Glaze but Darc didn't care and still pulverized the bull.
Glaze got annoyed and shot a powerful blast at Arkis her location. The explosion let the whole facility tremble. "Well, now your partner is gone.", said Glaze in a mocking tone him.
Darc only glared at him at this moment. "Do you really think I care about your orders? And I think you are kind of blind as well. I wouldn't waste time with weak bastards like your goons for nothing.", said Darc and explained a little.
Glaze frowned and narrowed his eyes. He looked at the location where he shot his blast now and after the smoke dissipated he noticed there was no dead body. There should be one, after all, he didn't try to pulverize her. He just wanted to kill her to make an example. "Gone...Interesting. So you managed to rescue her all the while fighting. But that makes no sense since I had you in front of me. How did you do it?", he asked in bewilderment and looked back at Darc. He was genuinely curious right now.

"None of your business, really. Now, should we start for what we are here for or are you trying to make a cozy tea party here? Even Frieza in the northern galaxy has a better understanding of a situation and talks less. Hope you don't disappoint me.", said Darc.
"You compare me to that brat of Cold? Looks like you are underestimating me somewhat. Compared to those weak bastards that live their life leisurely I have trained myself. And I am not a disgrace to our race. I already planned to kill them soon enough but you interfered in my plans." - Glaze.
"Disgrace? What are you talking about? You are both pests in your own rights. One uglier than the other. Guess where you stand?" - Darc.
Glaze started to get angry. "You sure like to run your mouth. Them being a danger? Don't make me laugh. That brat Frieza is a mutant that has too much softness inside him. Its unheard of from our race to show such emotions. He may have changed in the last years but that doesn't really change his core. He is still a disgrace that still clings to his mother's tits. Even his father is a cowardly wimp through and through. None of them have the same elegance as me when it comes to conquering the universe."
´Talk about narcissism. This guy is more dangerous than I thought. He did try to hinder me to eliminate his special units leader but at the same time, he didn't look faced at all after his death. And he even reacted pretty fast in trying to kill Arkis. Good thing though he is as chatty as Frieza.´, thought Darc at this moment and looked to the side for a brief moment and returned his attention back to Glaze.
"So you know them that well? Are you actually going to tell me your life story now?", mocked Darc again. It looked after all that Glaze did have information that kinda was interesting, to say the least. And he even still presented it like an open book. Darc got a little bit annoyed about that actually but he had to buy a little bit more time.
"Sure I do. I was the one that killed his mother after all. Just thinking about that helpless face she made makes my mood better. It was hilarious how they exclaimed me to be a traitor after I killed most of our race. After all, I just purged our race from weaklings. Sadly I didn't get my hands on little Frieza at that time.", explained Glaze with a humored smile. His gaze still remained cold.
Darc only narrowed his eyes and frowned. "You are right...You aren't like Frieza. At least Frieza knows what family is. You, on the other hand, are a genocidal maniac that even doesn't hold back at his own people." Darc grinds the ground under his feet a little. "You are not even worth more than dirt under one's boots. But should I say something funny? Even though he is a mutant in your eyes and shows too many emotions. That's actually what makes him stronger than you by far. But it doesn't matter because you won't see the day when he will reach those heights."
At that moment when he finished his sentence, another three Darc appeared and melted with the current Darc. They were the clones that he used to teleport Arkis and the other GP people to a save location and treat their wounds there. In this case, it was to earth.
After all of his clones joined him, he burst out all his energy to the maximum. He couldn't care much about the planet he was on right now since he had to use every ounce of his energy to beat this guy.
Glaze was surprised to see his clones and the sudden outburst of energy made him slightly panicky. "You actually hid this much power!? Damn it! You are more dangerous than I thought!", he screamed and also charged his power up. A deep blueish purple aura burst forth from him and Both of them clashed together in midair. An immense shockwave destroyed their surroundings. The fight started to get more intense.
Exchanging punches Glaze notices he was slightly in an advantage. "Looks like I am still superior to your strength. Now you will regret crossing me!", he said and used his tail to surprise Darc and smack him through the facility to the outside and followed suit.

A Hunt Upon Wings of Shadows
Lianne has spent the last few years of her life as a nomadic monster-hunter, aimlessly taking jobs and disappearing without a trace. Her innately high ether reserves are the only thing that’s keeping her alive. After a painful yet successful contract, she receives an offer to hunt a peculiar beast from a mysterious man who- much to her dismay- pairs her with a man by the name of Sirius, a skilled swordsman with too much empathy to give out. At the same time, inside the impossibly tall walls of the divine city, a group of soldiers including a naive yet powerful girl by the name of Felicia, an exemplar soldier named Raynauld, and a scarred and aloof woman named Maria prepare to head out on a mission to deliver justice to a deserter who is reported to be in a large town far outside the lush interior of the city. However, the two groups will find that their paths will intertwine, and painful memories will push them against each other at every turn, with new monsters emerging from the shadows to pick each of them apart piece by piece. ************************** Alright, so this is the first book I've posted here, and I've been sitting on this idea for a long while. I'm open to any pieces of criticism, and I would be glad to receive tips and advice. Enjoy! Normally, new chapters come out Saturday nights, sometimes double uploads if there's a short chapter or if I feel like it. That's subject to change if I run out of the current backlog. Second note, this is the first draft, and some things (like a few characters) are going to be cut. It's still going to be the same storyline, but keep that in mind.
