Darc woke up early and felt refreshed from all his thoughts from yesterday. Standing up from his bed he materialized some new clothes for himself.

It was really convenient to not need to wash one´s clothes anymore because the new ones always were pristine and the old ones just vanished from existence. It may even have made him way too lazy in that regard.

When he went into the bathroom and washed his face he looked into the mirror to only see his own reflection glaring back at him. He had way longer hair now since he still forgot to go to a barber. He narrowed his eyes and pushed all his hair to his back with both hands and collected them into a bundle where he held them with one hand and just cut roughly with his other hand coated in his ki.

Then he did some finetune of other parts that were still too long. All the excess hair was also disposed of by him. Now that his hair was shorter again and he saw his own face better he looked at his chin and saw that he even started to get some stubbles.

He clicked his tongue after letting some thoughts run through his mind and dried his face with a towel and left the bathroom.

Walking back to the living room he met Bulma again. She seemed to be on her way to the bathroom as well.

Darc looked at her and wondered if she felt better right now? She only eyed him up and actually smiled.

"Shorter hair suits you much better", she commented on his new look.

"Thanks. You all good?", he asked her back.

She got a little frown on her face hearing his question. "Lets just not talk about this anymore. So, what are you going to do now? Going back into space?"

Darc noticed her expression and sighed inwardly. It's still not such a good idea to talk about it. "Actually, I was planning to stay for a while if it's alright. I think I will visit the others for a change as well. Come to speak of it. Where are they all? I didn't see Yamcha anywhere. Did he stop freeloading?", he said did look around as if confirming his own words that there was no Yamcha.

Bulma sighed "That dimwit is gone off for training for the martial arts tournament in 2 and a half years. The only ones staying here right now are Oolong and Puar. Really, now that I think about it I only end up having weird friends that all train like maniacs in martial arts...Goku is also at Kami´s place training. Tien and Krillin are also the same.", she answered him and also got a little bit angry while explaining and thinking about those guys.

Darc laughed softly. "You know there are still Launch, Glew and Luffa that you could meet up with and spend some time, right? Also, who is Tien?"

"Oh, right. You don't know. Tien Shinhan is another martial artist we became friends with after taking part in the 22nd Tournament. He is a tall guy with a bald head like Krillin and he got a third eye on his forehead. If you see him, you will immediately know who he is. And about that other matter. You are right. I am actually spending more time with your friends lately as well. Glew comes by often and we exchange each other's views on new tech. Luffa also tags along. She is always the one that drags us out of our geek talk if we derail too much. Did you know she got herself a boyfriend as well now?", rambled Bulma on.

Darc arched his brows "She did? And here I had some worries about her. Looks like she is doing just fine.", he commented on her question.

Bulma smiled after noticing that he tried to comfort her with changing the subject slightly "Hmpf, your friend Lite by the way also started training longer and neglecting his relationship with Glew. She is also getting angrier at that fact."

At those words, Darc could only scratch his head. "Seems like birds of the same feather flock together. Do you see now why I don't want to start a relationship right now? It's a little bit bothersome and won't be enough for you. Besides I like it more when you are as natural as you are right now anyway.", he said with a grin.

Bulma was surprised and pouted "Do you think I would change so much after going into a relationship?", she asked him.

Darc only smiled at that. "If I really have to answer truthfully. I think you would like to have your men non-stop here by your side and spoil you."

Bulma blushed a little. "Idiot...Anyway, do give me a status update about how those guys are holding up if you really meet them.", she said and waved him goodbye for now and started walking away.

"Don't worry I will also do something with you later since I did promise after all.", he said before she was gone out of sight.

A little bit later Darc was on his way to the lookout to visit Kami and his current disciple Goku.

While descending on to the platform he could already see Popo standing near Kami and looking at a crosslegged sitting Goku.

"Hey! Long time no see.", he shouted out and finally landed.

Both Popo and Kami looked at him with a smile. "Hello, Darc. It has been some time. You sure grew a lot.", said Kami to him and greeted him warmly.

"Darc is here?", asked Goku and opened his eyes to look at Darc.

"Don't move! And concentrate!", scolded Popo immediately.

Darc laughed a little bit. "He is right, Goku. If you want to learn a perfect control of your ki you need to become one with nature. Here look. This is also a way to improve your control.", he said and stretched out a hand to form a small ki ball. Then he moved his fingers and let his ki slip through them and travel around his body as if it was another arm.

"Whoa, that's amazing! Let me try!", said Goku and remained sitting and created a ki ball and tried to get it to move. He willed it to move, really, but it looked like it was harder than he first thought. It was only wobbling around and the next second it just vanished.

"It's harder than it looks.", frowned Goku in the disappointment of his failure.

"Of course it's harder than to just simply charge up ki and fire it like in a Kamehameha wave. Right now you also let a lot of your energy be wasted and be dispersed into the environment. You need to try and keep it inside your body."

Kami and Popo only nodded at his words.

"Now, get back to meditation.", said Darc afterward.

"But just sitting around is really boring!", answered Goku.

Darc only sighed but Goku got back to closing his eyes and tried to meditate. At the same time, a ki ball was now in his lap above his hands. That gave Darc a smile because he saw that Goku now used both teachings to get something out of them. He really absorbed things like a sponge.

Kami walked with Darc a little bit further away from Goku to no longer disturb him and started a conversation there.

"You didn't just come by to say your greetings, did you?", asked Kami him.

Darc only shrugged his shoulders "Is that how you think of me? Actually, I am. I just wanted to check on Goku. But if you really don't trust my intentions then I also want to ask you if you could teach me the concept of Kai-Kai since you actually brought it up."

Kami looked a little bit confused "Didn't you tell me you couldn't use it last time?"

"I got a friend who could use it actually. I will try to teach it later to her.", he answered.

Kami nodded since he did once see with his observation skill that Darc came back with a female partner once. But how could that woman learn Kai-Kai?

He didn't bother to think too much into it and he started teaching him the concept of Kai-Kai. It was not so much different than instant transmission after all and he understood it enough to teach it later on to Arkis.

Kai-Kai really had its perks. Instead of using normal ki it actually did use godly ki or at least a mixture of them both to overcome the limitations that instant transmission had with locking on ki signatures.

Its also no wonder why normal people are denied to learn that technique.

"Hmm, the lower the divinity of the user the lower is Kai-Kai´s usage, huh. Oh well, it doesn't really matter that much.", he mumbled after rethinking about the actual technique.

"Huh?", Kami wondered what he meant with those words.

"Well, thanks for helping me out again, Kami. I will stay for a while and help teach Goku some useful tricks and be on my way", he said and actually kept his words. He taught Goku how to better his control in ki and later charged away.

The day was already half gone to that point anyway so Darc went back to west city where he spent some time with his own family and later invited Bulma to a little apology dinner in the city.

Not long after that, another day just went by.
