Sitting in his pilot seat Darc relaxed and yawned a little. He had his arms behind his head and his feet on the control panel where no buttons are. Then he looked to his left and saw the female lieutenant.

"So, Serta was it? How come you are also part of the delivery?", he asked her and she still stood there not fazed at all.

The galactic patrol sends him to deliver some cargo to a planet and it looks like this woman also was part of it. He was curious why though.

She looked at him "I am just to make sure everything goes smoothly and also need to go there personally to see what condition that planet is in. There are things we need to renegotiate with the local folk and you don't have the authority to do that. I don't even need to mention that they do not know you and wouldn't trust you.", she explained.

"I guess that's true. Alright, since we will be working together there are some rules to abide here in my ship. First, do not enter the central training area when I am training. Under no condition are you to disturb me. Well, you could but you would probably be squashed to a pancake because of the gravity inside that room. Every other room is connected with each other so you won't is needing to go into the central area anyway. Second, when using the bathroom do not take too long. You woman always take ages there. Third, do not use the communication room without my permission. That's about all. Oh, and your room is 103. You can sleep there.", he told her about his now established rules. If something would go on his nerves he would change them accordingly.

Serta nodded to him and looked a little confused. "Understood, but I got one question. What is a pancake?", she asked him and leaned her head sideways.

Darc´s eyelid twitched and he looks at her. He totally forgot that no one knows about food from the earth. He then sighed. "I will show you later how it looks. It is a food dish from my home planet.", he explained to her and she nodded again. At least she looks to understand what hygiene is and didn't ask him about the bathroom. Well, she looked pretty humanoid after all but then again, Jaco did as well and he pees out of his head...

Like that both spent their time pretty relaxed. Serta never disobeyed any rules or orders he gave her as long as she was on the ship.

She was even surprised at how he did his training. One time he even showed her how the gravity chamber worked because she got curious at some point.

She even tried it out and maxed out at 20 times gravity where she felt pressure. Talking to her about it he found out that her home planet was 15g. So her race started with a quite high power level at birth but like most never really improved that much.

Darc also showed her what a pancake was and she was amazed by the delicious tasting food. At least now it wasn't so lonely anymore. He was kinda glad about it.

Soon they arrived at the planet they were supposed to.

+Darc, we have reached our destination.+, exclaimed Alice.

"Understood. What do the scans say about the atmosphere?"

+The drones that were sent out indicate a very earth-like environment.+

"Is that so? That's interesting. Then I can leave my armor and helmet here for now.", he commented on the scans. He would now only wear his black neoprene-like suit and a white jacket with a GP logo on it his torso. He looked so much thinner at this moment. But he did like the space marine feel the armor gave him. "Serta, get ready to disembark."

Serta nodded and also went into the decontamination room just like Darc did.

When they landed and came outside Darc could see that this planet really had a lot in common with earth. Only there were fewer trees here if one really looked closer.

Darc and Serta also saw the local people coming to them.

They greeted them and Serta started to talk about the things she was here for. Darc just went to some quiet space where he would start meditation. it would take a while until they unloaded the cargo and all.

After meditating for a while Darc noticed a weird energy form that he never felt before and after wondering for awhile he located it and flew right to that spot. What he saw was a single giant tree standing erect at one spot.

When he landed in front of it he eyed it up. This tree was pretty old. He also now could feel a magical energy flowing inside it when he touched it.

Darc just stood there for a while and thought what this tree is all about then a thought flashed inside his mind.

´Dont tell me...´, he thought and circled the tree and looked inside its crown for something.

And he actually did find something. On this tree, there was a single multicolored fruit with a golden shimmer hanging on a branch of it. Darc just plucked and he could feel the immense energy inside it. He was actually tempted to eat it but he didn't.

´It really is that. But what now? Was I even supposed to plug it? Damn...´

He flew down and put the fruit down. He wracked his brain and then just tried to channel some of his energy into the fruit and it actually immediately reacted. It started glowing and slowly a figure started to form.

That figure had a lot of female characteristics like breasts, a slim waist, and a female face but Darc knew better to know that this figure didn't have a gender. Yes, the person standing right in front of him was a Shin-Jin. The race of the Kai and Kaioshin. He would always immediately recognize them.

This Kai, no, it should be a supreme Kai since the fruit was glimmering, had red skin and long spiky white hair that reached her hips. She also had no antenna but long pointy ears. That proved her higher status from a normal Kai even more. She actually looked very pretty and was about the same height as Darc. Making her around 170cm tall.

When she opened her eyes she had dark black eyes. She looked confused and watched around right and left.

Darc looked at her and got a little blush on his face after nothing happened anymore. He knew better but his mind told him something else and his body just got a little heated.

At first, he kinda dazed a little but just couldn't handle any more of that if he didn't want to lose control and materialized some clothing for her with his magic since she was actually bare naked in front of him right now. Guess even supreme beings like the Kai were born naked.

He even gave her matching sapphire colored earrings like the ones the Kaioshin wore. The so-called potara. Weirdly enough they changed color on their own into golden ones immediately. That kinda made Darc curious if they are now real potara after coming into contact with her? And weren't they supposed to be green when worn by a Supreme Kaioshin?

She looked at that action in bewilderment and pulled a little bit on her clothes and looked at them. Then she started smiling out of the blue and one could see expectations inside her eyes.

Darc actually got sweat running down his neck at that moment. ´Dont tell me I got to take care of her now? I thought they are at least born with some wisdom?´, he thought.

Right at that moment, he got a telepathic message and it shocked him at first.

*Mortal child. Thank you for awakening this child of mine. Please do take care of this newborn and teach it to be righteous. You shall be rewarded for your effort later.*

Darc frowned and looked around and noticed that it was the tree that was sending him those words.

"I am not sure that I am the right person to guide someone like a Kaioshin. Is it not possible for you to contact your own people?", said Darc and tried to get more information out of this tree. Seemed like this planet was a Kaioshin planet a few millennia ago.

*I am sorry. I can't do that. I am weak and close to my life's end. Soon only a seedling will remain of me and it would take millennia until I grow again. This child is all my essence. You being able to awaken this grand supreme kai shows your good heart. This child's name is Arkis...I entrust everything...to...you...*

The voice faded to silence and Darc had bulging eyes ´Hey! Don't just go and die on me! Also, did I just hear right? This female looking kai is a grand supreme kai? Even a stage higher than Shin? Damn.´, he thought.

He scratched his head in annoyance and looked at her. Arkis actually went forward to the tree and knelt down. The tree in front of her started to rot at an amazing visible speed.

And only a little green seedling was left behind. It looked a lot like a senzu bean. She grasped that seedling softly and put it away in one of the pockets of her clothing. She seemed to at least know what to do with that seedling.

Darc only sighed and went closer to her. Then he put a finger on her forehead and transmitted her the universal language. He didn't know about the divine language yet so she had to wait for that.

Then he also transfers a few other pieces of information about things like healing and materialization and other useful things he knew about the Kaioshin. He wouldn't really bother and keep that information from her. It would only make his babysitter job even worse.

At that moment she started to talk and bowed slightly. "Thank you that you are taking care of me. I will do my best to learn from you until I meet the other Kaioshin that you seem to know of.", she said. Her voice was sweet. Damn sinful even. The old perv Kai would probably droll.

"That will still take some time. We need to take care of the western galaxy first. Well, let's also keep your status hidden for now and hope no one recognizes your race. You are pretty weak right now and need to undergo training first. I will push you through rigorous training. So do prepare yourself. I will make you into a fighter and not a complete peace-loving fool. But don't worry. I won't let you do anything bad. After all, I still got a responsibility now to show you what is right and what is not, I guess. Actually, me even showing you to fight kinda goes against the rules. But it cant be bad to let you know self-defense...", he said to her and she nodded after hearing his words.

He was right after all. She had barely just about 10k BP right now but he was sure she would get stronger pretty fast. After all, even Shin was stronger than a full power Super Saiyan form and only shy against a Super Saiyan 2. So he was between the two in terms of power he thought. And Arkis here was a grand supreme kai. Her potential probably could go even further. He had a little smirk on his face after thinking about creating such a strong Shin-Jin. Beerus would probably approve and become even lazier.

"Follow me. Don't talk unless it's really necessary. Oh, and my name is Darc. If you want to talk to me directly just use my name.", he ordered her and started walking.

Arkis followed suit after him.

Returning back to his ship Serta saw him and arched a brow. "Who is this?", she asked and didn't recognize the female beside Darc.

"A new comrade. She is called Arkis. She joined me. Don't worry about it too much. Is everything ready here?", he answered her and looked if the cargo was taken out.

She narrowed her eyes slightly and nodded. "Nice to meet you Arkis. I am Serta.", she said and looked at Arkis. Arkis thought about something for a short moment and nodded in response. "And yes, we can move out. Everything is done here."

"Very good, then let's get back to the outpost. Arkis you are on me. We will start training immediately. Serta, why don't you get into contact with our outpost?"

Serta was confused now. He would train her and he let her go into the communication room alone? But she nodded and went into the ship with them. Their mission was done here.

Darc and Arkis went into the training room after starting their way back to the station. Serta could hear some rough screams from Arkis and loud shouting from Darc when she made a mistake in training. Looks like she underwent rough training.

Darc wasn't the kind of teacher that put gloves on. He just was interested in how hard he can push her to see how far she would come. After all, she is a godly being, right? It kinda made him itchy to show her where her place is and that even mortals can do better than gods. Was he a sadist with that motivation? Maybe.
