Age 749 Sometime in August. Start of summer vacation

Darc was already on his way to Bulma´s and at the same time about to start his own travel into space. He was actually a little bit excited. Flying around in the darkness of the quiet space was the dream of so many from his previous life. Being an astronaut and looking beyond the solar system.

He already got a call one month ago about the spaceship being finished and ready to be used. It would have been ready even sooner but in cooperation with the GP, there had to be certain software installed and other communication devices to contact them. Then Darc actually had some extra wishes and changes so Dr. Briefs implemented them afterward.

It was remarkable that Hakase stayed so calm when Darc always tried to improve the design he made. Normally people would hate it when someone criticized their products but not him it seems.

Well, he only changed a few essential things like an AI that was voice commanded and such. Why should he bother pushing buttons if an automated system could regulate everything? Sure he did still keep a manual override just in case but for convenience sake and not to go completely insane while traveling having an AI partner was not so bad. Even if it is a basic one.

And he wouldn't like to end like Yamcha nearly dead if he really loses consciousness while training in higher gravity and just die. The AI would immediately react to his condition and deactivate the gravity. At least that's how it should work generally speaking.

Arriving he could already see Bulma and the others standing around in the Garden so he directly landed there.

"Hey there! Bulma, Hakase, Ms.Briefs", he said and nodded to everyone present. He also looked around. "So Jaco and Tights are already gone?"

"Hey.", smiled Bulma when seeing him. "Yeah, they already went ahead to the Headquarters. All the stuff you need they have left inside the ship." She pointed to the Spaceship with the Capsule Corp logo on it.

´Guess can't leave that logo out, huh. And there is even the GP Logo on it as well. Well, doesn't matter. ´, thought Darc after looking at the end product.

"Hello, Darc. Look at you! You started growing again in this half a year. So I was right~.", said Ms. Briefs with a big smile after coming over and clinging to him again.

He arched a brow and looked at himself. He already got used to Ms. Briefs behaving like this. "Really? It's only been half a year. I don't think I changed that much?"

Bulma only sighed at that moment and blushed a little when eyeing him up. "You got a little taller...I wonder what you eat to grow like a bean. Also, stop that mom!", she said to him and her mother.

"Hehe." was the only thing Ms. Briefs answered to that and Bulma got angry and pulled her off him.

At that moment Dr.Briefs also came to a word. "Hello, Darc. Let's get in and I show you the ship"

Darc nodded and smiled brightly. "Sure, let's see that wonder of Tech. I am actually quite interested in how the product ended up that you made, Hakase.", gave Darc as an answer.

At that moment Bulma interrupted and felt wronged. "Hey, I also worked on that.", she said with a pout. Dr.Briefs chuckled. Bulma seemed like the type that wanted to be praised constantly for her work and if you didn't appreciate her work it was the same as you not appreciating her in her mind.

Darc only sighed lightly. "Of course I will also look into the gravity application that you worked on. After all, that's one of the key features I am most interested in. It will be a tremendous help in my training.", he said to her with a genuinely happy smile.

Bulma blushed again. "So you even figured out on what I mainly worked on...Well, get moving then you big muscle brain."

Darc chuckled. "Of course I would still remember what you invented and showed me years ago. If you can make anti-gravity than doing the exact opposite shouldn't be hard for you at all. You are a smart girl after all. Alright, let's go and take a look, Hakase."

Darc and Dr. Briefs moved into the interior of the spaceship. From outside one could see that it was 4 times bigger than Goku´s ship and also round. The round sphere design was his idea he stole from canon. Hakase actually wanted to make it ufo shaped what Darc didn't like. It would resemble the evil forces too much.

Ms. Briefs came over to Bulma and chuckled softly. "Isn't he nice, dear? Are you still going to search for a Boyfriend with those wishing beads?"

Bulma hear her words "So it was actually you who told him!", she yelled at her but Ms. Briefs only looked at her with a confused look. She actually didn't tell him but Bulma didn't know that. "I don't know...He will be gone in space most of the time.", she added.

"But he said he will visit, right?" Ms. Briefs asked.

"That is as long as he is not traveling. He cant visit when he is in space at that moment or else he would lose the ship. And those travels can take up to months if the planet is far away. The outpost of the GP at the western galaxy alone is a 3 months travel by the improved speed of this ship."

Ms. Briefs only smiled and looked at her emotionally confused daughter. "Just wait patiently, dear. Also, didn't you want to do something yourself in that time?"

In the inside of the ship, Darc was baffled how big it was. There were actually many separate rooms labeled with certain words like sleeping quarters, communication room and toilets etc.

The main middle room was the Training room with the gravity generator that actually could go to up to 500 times the earth's gravity.

He wondered why it was so much more than in the canon but it seemed the case because the ship was bigger and the base blueprints were that of the alien special unit ship. And Hakase got more out of it than he could get out of the assault-pod and the Namekian ancient one.

It was now even faster than Goku´s ship and could travel to Namek in 3 instead of 6 days. Darc wondered if he fucked up canon with that as well? Nah, he would help out at that time anyway so no bother wondering about that.

"This here is the AI +Alice+ that will help you regulate and plan things. She can basically control anything and will warn you about any abnormalities. She also has a build in scouter to scan power levels on planets and such. I think based on your energy it can analyze anything up to 100 million BP. But since we can't really test her capabilities that will still have to be seen.", stated Dr.Briefs after entering the communications room.

Darc looked at a screen of the communication center and saw a blue glowing ball floating around near it.

+Hello, Hakase. Hello, Darc. I am delighted to meet you. I hope our partnership will be long lasting+, sounded the female artificial voice. Darc actually got a wry smile on his face. Now he actually had some doubts about letting an AI do all things. Well, he could just bail out if anything happens.

"Nice to meet you too, Alice. Let's get along well.", he answered and was also surprised to notice her normal name.

Going to the sleeping quarters Darc immediately notices the clothes in the wardrobe. They were all in black and white. He didn't dislike the color scheme but it was all branded with GP logos.

Well, gotta promote that the GP helps the universe it seems. At least it was clothing from the earth and not some weird stuff. Things like training suits and battle armor were also included.

Luckily they were without those dumb shoulder pads but the armor had those carapace looking parts on the legs and arms as well.

Darc had to admit it looked like a real futuristic military battle suit like in Halo. But not so bulky and way more comfortable because of the material that stretches.

All in all, it was an amazing ship and there were a ton of supplies in the storage area that would last him for years.

But that wasn't all without a price. Dr. Briefs told him to scan other planets and such and map out the galaxy when he was already traveling.

It would help out his research even more for later and Darc never considered that a problem and of course accepted. If that was all to repay his kindness, then that would be an easy task.

Back outside after his tour inside the ship Darc looked at the three people and smiled. "Alright. I will get moving then. Bulma, take care of yourself, alright? And don't get fooled by any handsome men. Would be bad if you regret it later, right?", he said with a chuckle and teased her.

Bulma snorted "People like you? Don't worry about that."

Darc shrugged his shoulders and also said goodbye to Ms & Dr. Briefs. "I will stay in contact via communicators. Hakase, it would be appreciated if you could also send one to my home so my mother doesn't worry that much and can contact me. I had a few problems convincing her that I already start working at my age. Oh, and do tell her I work in some lab. Kinda had to avoid telling her the truth, haha. I will explain to her later if I have the time.", he said sheepishly.

The trio stayed silent but then Hakase nodded.

"Alright, I am on my way now. See you guys later.", he said and went inside closing the doors. He started the engine and was sent flying upwards into space.

15 Minutes later he looked out of a big window in the cockpit and saw the vast space. It was amazing to first see the earth from above and see it getting smaller and smaller. Then he moved to the training area. "Alright, lets test this baby out. Alice, increase gravity to 10 times."

+Are you sure? It could lead to deformaties+, she asked back.

"It's alright, I can handle that. I am just trying to get used to it. After all, this can go up to 500 times and the flight right now still takes a while." Darc

+Affirmative, increasing gravitational stress level to 10g. Starting to monitor life signals.+

Slowly the air in the room got heavier. Darc tried to move around and stretch himself and such. But it was way harder than he thought. This was going to be a nice training.

And if he really hurt himself badly he still got that 100 senzu he took with him in a bag.

But he would refrain from using them as much as possible because as long as he could heal himself with his magic, the benefit he would gain was much bigger than when he got healed by the senzu bean.

He noticed that while experimenting with his pure progress talent in the past half year.

It looked like that while the senzu did heal him and gave him a boost to his strength, it would also eat up some of that potential while doing so. His magic would not result in that. No wonder Goku Black got so strong with Zamasu in tow.

But even healing had its cons. It would give him mental exhaustion to his already physical one. Guess that's that but then again he would also train his magic like that at the same time. beating two birds with one stone.

After a while, he got used to 10g and ordered Alice to increase more until he was at a point where he could feel his muscles churn at every move. That was the g he wanted. It was now 15g at this moment and he felt every bit of it.

Like that he charged forth into the unknown space. His first stop was the outpost of the Galactic Patrol in that area and from there make his kinda conquest of that galaxy.

Well, he did also get paid and credited for his work later. Right now he was a bottom feeder in the organization.

That was also something he didn't like since he probably was the strongest force the GP had. But rules are rules. He would become elite in no time.

He also let his friends out of this for the time being until the placed a foot himself on this journey. He couldn't be irresponsible and endanger them even if people like Lite argued about it but Darc stayed adamant about his decision.
