《Dragon Ball: Saga Of The Strongest Human》Chapter 36. Galactic Patrolman

After finishing everything up he said his farewell to the Briefs. He told them they could call him when Jaco came by. After that, he brought his friends back to his town and went home.
His mother immediately clung to his neck about Bulma when he entered his house. "Sweetie, please tell me about the girl you are seeing?", asked his mother with a happy smile.
He looked at her "I am not seeing anyone, mom. She is just a friend. Why are you so eager to get something out of me? You never asked me something like this when I introduced Glew or Luffa."
Kibini only smiled at him.
"Wait...You actually considered them as well, didn't you?", he asked and narrowed his eyes this time.
"Well, Glew is now together with Lite but Luffa is still an option if you don't like Bulma.", she gave an answer this time and just came straight to the point. Why are mothers like this?
"Alright, mom. Stop with those things. If I ever meet someone I want to marry you are gonna be the first one to know.", he said annoyed.
"You still didn't tell me anything about that Bulma, sweetie.", she tried to pry open an answer.
Darc sighed. He told her what he knew about Bulma. Things like where she lives and that she is the doctor of the founder of Capsule Corporation and that she is pretty smart herself and her looks are great as well. Just good things mostly.
"Satisfied now?", he asked after giving her the information and sighed again.
"Sure, as long I get to meet her soon.", said Kibini with a smile and hearing his words she only thought that this girl was really a good catch. And her son didn't really say anything negative about her so he probably likes her and respects her. That's a good start already and was enough for her for now. So she let him go and stopped inquiring him.
"Is dad still not back? I thought he would be back this time around?", he asked his mother after noticing that his father was not home.
Kibini put a finger on her chin and looked upwards "He called and said something special came up today. The military picked up some unfamiliar flying object in our orbit and the government is pretty messy right now or something."
Darc flinched a little at those words. Seems like the spaceship was already noticed by the government.
"I see, well I will take a nap now since the trip back took a while.", he said and went up to his room.

"Alright, sleep well, sweetie.", said Kibini after him starting to walk up.
In his room, Darc restocked on his senzu beans so that he always carried 5 of them with him at all times. Later he would take more when the ship is finished for his training.
He actually couldn't wait to test out the gravity chamber and look how that training is like. After all, he needs to become stronger soon or he will be outpaced by the likes of Goku when they start going Super Saiyan and such. Those few years he got ain't that much anymore.
Actually, maybe he should thank that weird lord glaze that he came in the right moment? No, he shouldn't be too happy since all frost demons have high inborn power levels reaching millions.
First, he should get any info he could get from Jaco about the Glaze guy.
----
A few days later a phone call came in. It was Bulma and she said Jaco was here. Also, they made breakthroughs in analyzing the ship.
So he teleported over to Capsule Corporation since they already somehow transported the spaceship to their place.
Arriving there, he saw Bulma and Tights standing together with a smaller guy that had a weird suit. Or was it even a suit? It was Jaco. He seemed to argue with Bulma.
"Hey there.", greeted Darc them. They all turned around and Tights smiled.
"Hey, Darc. Good that you were so fast. This guy actually tried to scamp away.", said Tights and glared a little at Jaco.
"I...I didn't! I just wanted to report to the Headquarters about this information.". he tried to rebuke.
"Don't try to fool us. You could just transmit that information and don't need to go there directly", interrupted Bulma and was also displeased with Jaco being a coward. The reason why he acted like that is that he knew who invaded earth and he actually wanted to be far away as soon as possible.
"Alright, give him some space, girls.", said Darc and actually protected Jaco in this case. Like that he could get his trust after all. "Now, I would like to talk with you about this matter. You don't need to fight for us. Just tell us what you know about these invaders and that Glaze guy they mentioned."
Jaco sighed and was relieved after he didn't want them to fight them. "Lord Glaze is the emperor that reigns over the west galaxy. He is someone that has a huge army with powerful people in them. Every galaxy has one of those damn frightening guys. Here in the north galaxy, it is a guy called Lord Cold and his sons Frieza and Cooler. They do make problems for us for years now and it is hard to do anything against them. But Glaze actually starting to invade the north is something new and not a good sign. Cold and Glaze are rivals that fight each other over territory since they were born. Now it seems to have escalated", explains Jaco.

"Not yet. Those guys I fought said it was a stealth mission. So that Cold guy shouldn't know anything.", said Darc back.
"Wait, what? A stealth mission. Who was the one that invaded you?", asked Jaco.
"I am not sure. The guy looked like an ox and wore a blue armor.", said Darc after thinking. "He also screamed something like that I killed Arbacca."
Jaco his eyes bulged "That guy was one of the special forces from lord Glaze, Maddiri! How the hell did you beat them!?"
Darc shrugged his shoulders. "Well, I just did?"
Jaco only sighed but that was good news for him. With that guy gone there would be fewer problems for the GP. Maybe he could even use this guy to do some jobs.
"Well, Maddiri was only ranked 8th in the ranks of the 10 special captains. But it is a feat to beat them. Anyways if you plan to fight them I would advise you to avoid Glaze. Our headquarters could give you any information about all planets that are currently under those control. If you actually could help us if we could spread our influence in the west galaxy.", added Jaco.
"Are you trying to use Darc to fight for you? Shouldn't you be doing that stuff yourself?", asked Bulma at that point.
"Listen, he is strong if he can beat Maddiri and there aren't that many people with such strength like his in the galaxy. Also being the good guys doesn't pay so much as going over to the bad guys..."
"Really, what a useless galactic police.", answered Bulma
"It's alright, Bulma. I would like to take that opportunity. They won't stay quiet after I decimated their forces anyway so I need to take action. And if I get enough info and support like that I don't care if the GP earns some credit through it. A safer galaxy is a good galaxy I guess?"
"But you will be gone for months! That could even go on for years! Are you sure?", asked Tights this time around.
"Yep, I am. It's kinda exciting to become a galactic hero, haha", he said laughingly. "Just need to convince my mother I think."
Jaco smiled in joy. "That´s great. I will inform Headquarters immediately that we got a fighter for our cause in the west galaxy. Ah and if you could help out here in the north galaxy that would also be great."
"Hey, now you are bombarding me with work. I expect you to compensate me, alright? I am not gonna work for free.", said Darc.
"Of course. Don't worry about that.", reassured Jaco and left to his own spaceship.
----
"So you are leaving as soon as the spaceship is ready?", asked Bulma him and didn't even look at him.
"Well, you can't blame him. It is exciting to travel space. I do that from time to time as well with Jaco.", interrupted Tights her sister. "And he can always visit back with that ability of his. Did you forget?"
Bulma immediately got into a better mood. She did actually forget about that. "Right, you gotta visit more often now. That's an order!", she snorted at him.
Darc laughed softly at her immediate change. "I will don't worry. Here, you can have this and try to collect them for an emergency if something does happen to me.", he answered and gave her his 6-star Dragonball.
"What's that?", asked Tights.
"That's a Dragonball. So you want me to wish you back to life if something happens? Arent you too pessimistic?", asked Bulma.
"You never know what could happen. It's just a precaution and I am pretty sure you did actually want to collect them for something didn't you?", he smirked as he answered back.
Bulma only blushed. Where the hell did he know that from? Was it her mother that snitched her?
"Alright, I will do that next summer holidays when I got the time. I also think about at that time the spaceship will also be ready.", said Bulma to him.
"Hello? I asked you guys a question. Stop being such lovebirds.", interrupted Tights and smiled.
"Oh, those are wishing beads that can grant any wish one has. For that to happen you need to collect all seven of them throughout the earth.", explained Darc to Tights.
"Amazing! Maybe I could write about that as well." Tights.
"Sure why not.", said Darc without thinking. He had other things in his head for the moment.
"Alright, I will talk with Jaco about the details of my new job and we will see us later."
They both nodded and Darc walked over to Jaco talking with him about all the things that he would get.
