《Dragon Ball: Saga Of The Strongest Human》Chapter 8: Decision

A loud rapid ringing of a bell could be heard in the town and right after it, turmoil started to rise inside a building. From this building slowly people flowed out like water.
"Finally! I thought we would never get out of there." mentioned someone walking with upwards outstretched arms while moving along the crowd to freedom.
"Lite, don't exaggerate things like that. Also, we were only here for 2 short hours.", said a female voice to the euphoric male boy.
"Oh, come on", rebuked Lite. "Those 2 hours were still too long. It's finally summer vacation! It's time to chill and laze around. Sometimes I don't get you, Glew."
Lite looked to another boy close by. "You do think the same, right, Darc? You gotta admit that vacation is the best time to enjoy freedom."
Darc smiled at him. "I think she meant more the fact that you jump around like a hyperactive monkey. Just cause class president here said it was short doesn't mean she would prefer to study. We basically already had our last day of school yesterday. Today was only for formality´s sake."
His answer was pretty logic driven and Lite was sighing at Darc supporting Glew more than him here. But that's to be expected by him. He always was that no-nonsense type.
"Sometimes I think you are an old man, dude" Lite exclaimed.
"What! Are you also saying I am an old lady!?", Glew interrupted.
She was flaring with anger and hit Lite on his shoulder.
"Whoa, I never said that about you!" Lite tried to distance himself from Glew and gruntly whispered something: " You are more of a harpy if anything."
Glew hit him instantly again "I heard that, you bastard!"
Darc started laughing lightly and then someone else mixed in. "Well look at that. One lovestruck couple arguing about their relationship?" The person asked?
Lite and Glew: "There is no relationship!!"
Darc looked at the new person. "Oh, hey there Otamo. That was a good one.", he laughed and stretched out his fist.

Otamo smiled and bumped his fist agains Darc´s. It was sometimes like this that he would use such moments to rile up both Lite and Glew. They were always fighting about something stupid so it's their fault as well.
"So you all got something planned for the holidays?" Otamo asked instantly to push attention to another topic and avoid Glew her wrath.
"Mostly training...", Darc answered a little bit in thought.
"Urgh, damn mate. You sure love your training sessions. Arent, you ripped enough already? Where do you even get your stamina from? You even destroyed the last enemy team with 8 to 0 and almost all goals were from you." Otamo cringed at the answer from Darc.
He does know about Darc training himself in martial arts. He is even already so good that he only gets A+ in sports.
Darc also had to join some club since school rules demanded it. So he chose soccer club where Otamo also was a member of. And guess what? He was like a freaking magician at it.
Darc himself kinda enjoyed the benefit of being amazingly athletic after going through rigorous training from Zarid. He was good in his past life but here he was a god. He chuckles inwardly. If anyone from the z fighters would know about this they would pity him but the didn't care right now.
He guessed how Gohan felt at that time when he visited the school.
"No mate, that was amazing like ya and ha like", Lite chirped in and made some karate moves and the sorts which he was certain to have seen at the match.
Darc really didn't use any such moves and only smiled awkwardly at Lite. Lite was also. No not also but a real martial arts addict. He liked many martial arts movies and such and when he found out that Darc kinda was amazing in real martial arts he clung to him like glue.
He even proclaimed himself to be his best friend.

"Darc, you really need to teach me some moves later on. I really want to try it out.", he added to his previous sentence.
"Maybe when I got time." Darc always the past 2,5 years tried to avoid that matter since he didn't want to teach him. He had no time anyway.
Also now a little bit more than 4 years passed and he started to visit the school. He had to juggle both school and martial arts. He really envied Gohan that had the moment here and there to focus on something.
He still remembered the first time he talked with his mother about school. He at first didn't want to go but she nagged him into insanity until he gave up. Or better to say had no choice at all.
She was all like no you will go to school. That's a must in your life etc etc. But damn he had his past life knowledge and state of mind. What he learned here at this level was like a no-brainer.
Besides language, he mostly wrote A´s in his tests. He was probably the smartest kid around his age. And concerning language, it is a nasty subject no matter what world. Only a B at that. It will probably become worse.
Why do you need to be philosophical about a language if you can use it fine enough? He never understood that anyway.
"That what you always say..." Lite brought him back to the topic.
"No, I really mean it. I will train you when I got the time." Darc slapped his shoulder softly. "You are my friend after all."
"Alright, thanks" smiled Lite. Oddly enough that was enough to get him gone from annoying him further.
"Hey, guys!" a girl yelled and came close to them.
"Hey, sis. Took you long enough." Otamo smiled at her.
"Hey, Luffa." Glew immediately went closer to her and greeted Luffa
"Hey there", "Hey" Both Darc and Lite replied.
Luffa smiled and giggled at Glew and wanted to start gossiping with her because she was the first beside her, but after noticing Darc she became mute and blushed.
Otamo just sighed seeing that. Why was she always like that when Darc was around? That was so embarrassing. "Come, let's go then." He urged her to leave "See you guys after the holidays. Our parents got a trip planned with us so we will be gone for the time."
Lite laughed and everyone wished them a good trip. Then Lite looked at Darc and elbowed him "Luffa still seems not to be able to get a word out around you, hehe. Lucky bastard."
Darc wrinkled his brows. "Stop saying such stuff. It's not like that and you know it. Anyways I will be going then. You both better enjoy your honeymoon as well"
Darc never really considered starting anything with these kids even if they were smitten with him. He was pretty handsome and tall for his age. And since he was good at sports a lot of girls liked him for that. But still, they were still kids nonetheless. Maybe sometime later after he grew up. Even in his last life, he didn't consider doing something as a kid. His brain was not even aware of what a relationship was really meant to be
"What!" Lite exploded after Darc mentioning that again. But that was on him when he started.
"Haha, see ya", Darc added and started walking home. On his way, he yawned a little. A school was tiring no matter the time or world huh.
´Gotta take a nap later and start preparing my stuff. Hope mom doesn't flip out too much when I am going to tell her what I am about to do.´
