《Flight of Icarus》5.7 All Out

There was blood on him.

Lots of it.

It covered his clothes, hands and head.

But not his dagger.

It was shining as brightly as the moment he had taken it out.

A stab straight to the heart.

And it’s still as clean as it had been before.

Scream.

Painful groan.

Life leaving a body in a rush of red.

His eyes watched it with a morbid fascination.

More screams and shouts, weapons flying his way.

He laughed.

They were stupid to think of challenging him.

Avenging was worth it only when you had the power to achieve it.

“Is he dead?” Monthu shouted out defending against three snakemen. They had swords so he was fine for the moment because of his range. There was a grunt from ahead and a shadow went over his head, falling soundly.

“Yes” Mio answered, blocking a spear thrown his way. He then dodged a couple sword thrusts and slashed at his opponents. He didn’t try to kill them or wound mortally but rather push his way through. Now he was at the head and had to return their group to the others some way.

A shower of light basked the enemies and they hissed in pain, dropping weapons and clawing at their eyes. Mio used that window of time to shove enemies out of his path and make his way to front of a wall of fire. As all four of them came to stand before it, the wall dissipated and Aurora breathed a sigh of relief, casting,a couple light healing spells.

“What’s the plan now?” Kalin inquired swinging his giant battle axe. It broke the snakes’ armour, felling them in another moment.

“Kill or be killed” Monthu said in a toneless voice, brandishing his scythe. The enemies didn’t fall into as much disarray as he would have liked after having their leader killed so there wasn’t much else that could be done. The rest of the fight was going to be decided simply on who could last longer. Their skill was far superior to the snakes’ but it meant nothing if they were going to fall down from exhaustion.

The axeman smiled widely. “That’s something I can appreciate!” Travelling with Lancelot he rarely had the chance to go all out so he planned to use the opportunity to its fullest. “Can I have the right side, Mio?”

They had fallen into the places they’d taken before and this meant the axeman was squished between Lancelot and Viola dancing.

The beastman nodded and they exchanged their places using Monthu as a sole guardian for a couple of moments. The guy wasn’t too happy about that but held his place swinging his scythe in deadly arcs. Snakemen might have worn stone armour but it was only encumbering them. Their sluggish movements were easy to predict and their heads fell of as easy as before having no helmets.

Monthu intercepted a snake’s attack, catching his opponent’s sword and pushed it downwards smashing with the back end of his scythe. It dazed the snake and Monthu would have loved to use that opportunity to deal some more damage but a couple more weapons were coming his way. He blocked them with the shaft, using his scythe more as a pole.

The he instantly swung his scythe forward, slicing at the closest snakes. The attack didn’t deal lots of damage but where wounds opened a small fire rose dealing damage and destroying morality of the fighters.

The snakes might have had superior numbers and been trained in battle but their nature stayed truth. They wanted to run when outmatched and hated fire. Having it burn on your skin without any way to put it down, was no one’s cup of coffee.

Another swing to keep the snakes at range and try to block their attacks.

It was getting harder and harder to do it. The stamina was running out. “How much longer can you last?’ Monthu asked, not really wanting to hear the answer. He glanced back for a moment to see Par casting with his eyes closed and hands raised.

“Another half an hour, maybe some more” Lancelot replied in a strained voice. He was facing five snakes at once and they had range advantage on him,. He punched one, breaking his breastplate and had to instantly twist to the right to not get skewered. Then he caught a sword barehanded and kicked its owner; almost killing him. The snake hissed in pain crawling away while Lancelot had to dodge another attack. He waited for the sword to slice the air, jumping to the the attacker and triple punching in one heartbeat before he was forced to return to the defensive.

“Isn’t there a bit too many of them for half an hour?” June asked from the back.

“:Less talking more casting” Monthu said in a gravely voice. This was not looking good for them.

“Fine” she said before returning to her work of destroying armour and creating stone walls to confuse and annoy them.

“Fiery tornado!” Par screamed finishing a spell. Hot winds rose in the middle of the snake army, blowing in a circle faster and faster, The twister grew and grew, starting to snatch weapons, break pieces of armour and even raise snakes from the ground. And it didn’t seem to have any plan to slow down. It’s destructive power only growing with each passing moment.

The group first smiled, enjoying the chaos those crazy winds had brought but soon they felt the pulling power too. “It’s going to suck us in!” June screamed in horror. “What kind of spell attacks its caster?”

“Every single one?” Worglan asked, looking at her as if she was stupid.

“Well, yeah but who would be crazy enough to cast this particular one without any escape for himself?” She was frantically looking for a way out but there was nothing but a stone wall behind them. June started to seriously debating trying to break the wall and maybe escape that way.

“Everyone retreat!” Monthu ordered, taking cautious steps back as not to be overrun. “Par cast Stone Prison! Worglan can you get Aster to us?”

“Earth lying still and sleepy..” Par started his chant.

“Tendrils of darkness drag the unwary, Shadow Bind!” the mage casted instead of answering. A large, human shaped form rose from the other end of the giant hall and flew towards them at high speed.

“Par now!” Monthu shouted out, seeing others jump and dashing the last.

“Stone Prison!” the kid said loudly and huge walls closed in around the group in all five directions. The sound of wind lessened and everyone took a deeper breath..

“Will this hold?” Kalin asked, poking the wall with a distrustful expression.

“It’ll have to for now” Monthu answered, leaning back against it with his eyes closed. He needed some miraculous plan to get everyone alive but nothing came to mind, They were just too outnumbered,. No matter how many snakes the tornado will kill there still were some good thousand or more in the tunnels, standing at the edges not being able to enter the hall because it was already filled. How were they to defeat that many even if they rested to the fullest?

A form appeared before him, dagger aimed at his chest.

Monthu tried to dodge but the attack was too close and he had to sacrifice his left hand to stay alive. The dagger embedded itself deeply, making the drawing out of it even more painful.

“Moonlight shine brightly and remove diseases of the mind, Clear Sight!” Nein said in a patter, his words so quick they were impossible to understand.

Aster froze with his hand outstretched, poised to stab Monthu again. He looked dumbfounded for a moment, unaware of his position. Then he blinked a couple of times and took a step back, looking at Nein with dangerous eyes. “You disabled my bloodlust.” After that admission all the other eyes turned to the caster too.

Nein shrugged, “I like collecting spells.”

It was a blatant lie because if you didn’t use a spell often, you wouldn’t remember its incantation but no one felt like interrogating the guy. They were too tired for that,

‘What are you all doing here? And what’s with the stone home?” Aster asked after taking his look around. It was five on seven or so meters wide and everyone had fallen in various positions of resting inside.

“We’re hiding from a certain killer spell” June answered, looking at the fire Aurora was creating with a dream like expression. “By any chance do you have food?”

“A bit. I’m going to make something quick to increase the energy regeneration rate” the priestess answered with a nod.

“Real food...” June murmured following Aurora’s every step with hungry eyes, her hands clenched into fists so as not to jump and steal vegetables meant for the soup. Half a month on weeds could do that to even to a most prideful person.

Aster sat down where he had been standing and watched the preparations with sceptical eyes. He hadn’t eaten other player made food. He doubted it would taste any better than the grog he made and he didn’t like it in the least.

“Are you going to go all out?” Nein suddenly asked, looking straight at Worglan. The guy in question smiled. “You think I was holding out?” “I know it.”

The older mage laughed. “Yeah, I am. I still have some unfinished business in the outside world so I kind of need to leave with my body intact.”

Nein nodded as if that was the answer he expected and returned to his position with his head down and knees drawn to himself.

“Have you been only pretending to fight too?” June asked in disbelief, ignoring the fact that the mage’s body language said he didn’t want to talk. His quietness, however, didn’t discourage the girl.. “Hey! I’m talking to you, no offensive spells guy!” She found out that annoying him was a good way to forget about her hunger and how much she missed real food.

Nein sighed understanding that he’ll have to reply one way or another, “I’m a support mage. I didn’t keep out a single spell from you,” one side of his mouth lifted up into the barest of smiles.”I simply forgot to use a certain passive skill of mine.” His eyes glistened in a soft light of Lana’s crystal ball of holy energy and even Aster raised his head to look at the guy warily, knowing from some sixth sense that he should be careful around him. He was dangerous. “By the way, Monthu, I think you should learn the skills the kid gave you if we’re all going all out this time.”

The guy in question squared his shoulders in a defensive gesture.. He really didn’t want to use that charity.

Hawk nodded agreeing to Nein. “We need them.” Monthu glared at him but no one stayed by his side.”There might be some life saving spells there” Aurora added quietly.

Monthu knew they were right even if he didn’t want to admit it. “Fine,” he said taking out the six books. They glowed golden in his hands. He handed them to Aurora who could identify them.

“Here’s two for you” she said returning two glowing books, “One for Hawk, same as Par and two clerical ones.” She read the priest book covers and was delightfully surprised. “Prayer! It’s one of the most sought out clerical buffs because it almost doubles my efficiency for a minute! Although I don’t really need the second spell Grave’s Calling.”

“Hawk’s Eyes?” the archer murmured to himself. “That’s exactly what I needed!”

“Would you mind giving me the Grave’s Calling?”Nein asked, looking straight at Aurora. “I could put it to good use.”

“But Ace gave it to us...” she answered unsure whether she should give him the book or not. Her eyes turned to Monthu for a decision.

“We’re using them only because we need extra help to win and if the guy can get the most of that spell then give it to him.” The girl seemed to find the logic sound and easily passed the book to the quiet mage who picked it with utmost care as if holding a treasure. It was like night an day compared to how Ace had been taking care of them.

June glared at everyone. She wanted those books for herself. If only she had thought to ask for one herself! She should have known they knew not their true value! Idiots all of them! If only the kid had given them all to her... The stupid priestess just had to interfere at that time. That child was so young and innocent, believing martyrdom and sacrifice like her leader, it would have been so easy to give him some flashy but useless items in exchange!

“Don’t frown so much or you’ll get wrinkles.” Aster told her in a mocking tone. He was growing bored, his hands starting to twirl the daggers on the chain. Those around him pushed themselves a bit farther away just in case.

“And why do you care?” she asked with a glare this time aimed directly at him. Her mood was foul already and she had no patience for stupid crazies.

“You don’t seem to have anything else going for you.”

June’s eyes widened like an anime characters while she gaped at him for a couple of moments, unable to utter a sound. “What did you say?” she screamed out when she found her voice again, standing up to tower over the tall, but now sitting teenager.

Aster didn’t seem angered in the least. Amused at best. “You’re a poor mage and you have no useful skills so treasure your appearance or you’ll be left all alone.” He chuckled at her furious expression. “Why are you so mad for me stating the fact?”

The girl fumed standing before him, unsure of how she could get out of this situation. Her face was getting pinker by each passing second. As a last resort she grabbed onto her magic. “Stones that lay sleeping for ages, ma-” Lancelot jumped to cover her mouth and break her concentration. “Were you planning to kill us all?”

“He was making fun of me! You heard him!” she countered weakly from under his fingers. The corners of her eyes wet.

“You knew he was purposefully taunting you so why did you rise to it?”

“But he..! “

“Calm down, June. You’re better than that!”

“Yeah, do as he says. You need to keep your face lines perfect. Tears make a girl look ugly” Aster said with a laugh.

“Don’t listen to him, June. You know he only wants to rile you up”Lancelot said softly, trying to sit her down. Lana whispered something and June’s face eased up. She allowed herself to be let down and leaned against the wall with her eyes closed.

“Why did you dot that?” Lana asked Aster in a freezing tone.

The guy smiled instead of answering, continuing to twirl his dagger between the fingers.

“Wha-” Lana started again but Monthu beat her to it. “Are you going to fight again?”

Aster’s eyes lost their joyful spark, darkening somewhat, but the smile stayed on his face. “I’m a berserker, of course, I’ll fight. Just stay out of my way and we have an agreement.”

As Monthu nodded, Aurora banged a ladle against the pot. “Food’s ready!” She had been trying to ignore the previous exchange because she couldn’t help but feel angered somewhat. She couldn’t understand why would anyone act as childishly petty as Aster had. What did she even do to him to catch his attention?

She took out some bowls and started filling them for her team. It might have not been the nicest thing to do as a host but this was game and her team was her family. They needed to be the healthiest and start regenerating stamina the fastest. “Do you have any bowls of your own?” she asked without raising her head. ‘If not, you’ll have to wait till the one’s eating are finished.”

“Not really” Lana answered regretfully. She was sensing the aroma of the soup and even if it wasn’t restaurant material, it was heavenly it this cold and damp dungeon.

Aster took out a bowl and not really expecting to receive anything extended it towards Aurora. To his surprise she filled it without any hesitation. He accepted it and quickly ate so she wouldn’t have time to rethink her decision.

“Do you want another helping?” Aurora asked, noticing how quickly he was finished. “I’ve made more than enough for everyone.” Aster eyed her as if she was a strange, unknown beast from another planet. Then he extended his bowl. The soup was good and if she just gave it to him then why not?

Monthu was first from Aurora’s group to finish his food and gave the bowl for Lancelot who passed it to June. The red haired girl accepted it readily and went for the soup with the same fervour Aster had showed.

In no time the soup was finished and everyone lay or sat on the ground with their bellies full.

“We should get to it” Hawk murmured, lacking any eagerness. It was quite nice to just lay around and relax after all those troubles.

‘I wouldn’t mind staying a bit longer” June said with a yawn.

“But we need to before we’ll get hungry again. We don’t have an infinite amount of food supplies” Monthu said standing up. “Par can you can cancel the spell on my word?”

The kid nodded, holding tightly onto his staff. His eyes were sad and lonely, something that never happened with Ace around, but Monthu couldn’t do anything about it at the moment. Even if he wanted to talk and encourage his brother, this wasn’t the time or place for that. He was a leader and on his shoulder’s lay the responsibility to get everyone alive out of this mess. If he failed, not only others would face death, but his brother too and he wanted to limit those experiences to a minimum.

“Okay, then everyone prepare. We’re going all out this time with no breaks.” The whole group nodded in understanding. “And no more crazy spells as before Worglan, we need to make it out as well, not only to kill all the enemies.”

The mage grumbled but agreed.

“Ready?” Monthu asked, falling into a fighting stance. He activated [BloodThirst] a new toggle on ability that increased his attack speed by the amount of blood shed. It was quite similar to the berserker’s trademark skill but it lacked the side effects of red eyes, increased stamina, damage and inability to stop fighting. So in a way it was taking the best and leaving the worst out. Or so Monthu thought of it.

Mio and Lancelot went to his sides and their fan like formation was finished by Kalin and Viola on each side respectively. A couple meters behind them were the two priestesses with June and at the very back stood Par flanked by Worglan and Nein. To their left was Hawk with an arrow pointed upwards, ready to be released.

“Now.”

After Par’s whisper the walls fell and players were welcomed by an immense army staring right in their faces. Lana’s light couldn’t cover the whole cavern but the thousands of gloving serpent eyes were more than they wanted to see.

“They respawn?” June asked in a scream, her eyes popping out.

“Apparently” Aster said, amused. His light demeanour annoyed the girl but her eyes were locked on the dark columns that weren’t were before. “What are those she asked?” It was right before one of them moved slightly. “Giants! Now I can go and kill them all over!” the berserker said, excitedly.

No one else shared his enthusiasm on facing the same mobs once again. “We took too long” Monthu said quietly.

“It’s still possible” Nein intercepted without a hint of worry in his voice. “Do you want to go first?” he asked, turning to Worglan. “Sure” the mage answered raising his hands before himself. “You, who have died before your time, you, who are full of rage and malice, you, who still stay around after their deaths full of regret hear my voice and raise from the dust to pay your oppressors tenfold, Raise Army of the Fallen!”

His words were followed by a soft wind raising in the cavern. It collected dust into small clusters which then started to solidify into forms, bones and human structures. Rusty armour and weapons appeared in their hands and the skeletons went onto the offensive. They waited for no command or order but simply attacked the closest enemy.

“If I were you, I’d start fighting too. I can’t keep them forever, you know” Worglan said, smiling evilly to the surprised faces of Lancelot’s group. They expected many things out of him but not being a necromancer. People of that particular class tended to be quite obvious and rarely were on the side of good.

“Let’s go!” Monthu shouted out a command, being able to shake off the shock easily. He had expected something of the like, just not on such a scale. There were a couple hundreds of these fallen warriors that the guy summoned.

Mio nodded and engaged the snakes standing before him. The monsters previously standing oblivious to anything that happened around them jumped to action and instantly blocked his attack. His sword was pushed to the side and his other hand blocked by a spear while a sword was coming at him from the back. He was caught unaware. Instantly he leaned left, but was unable to dodge the thrust fully. It left a scratch on his side but nothing too life threatening.

White light came his way and he used it to slash at one of his opponent’s blind spots. It was his favourite tactic to use the upcoming heals as strategic advantages.

“Your turn boy” Worglan said, smiling at his army and casting a couple dark spheres to heal up some weakened soldiers and , of course, cause damage to snakes.

This time Nein smiled fully. “With pleasure.” He stood up straighter, closed his eyes for a second and pointed his staff at something before himself. “Spirits lingering here, take form!” It wasn’t much of an incantation and June was about to laugh at him but the space before him started to shimmer as if something unnatural was there. “Come forth Shadow... Sun... Wind...” At his words a black clothed halfling materialised, then a cheery golden haired female and a lean young man with a katana and light brown coloured armor. “Also Plate and Brute..” A man covered in full plate armour so it was impossible to say anything about him took form and quickly after an ogre with a giant axe. They all said “Master” respectfully after appearance and lowered their heads in respect. “Hm...Two more... Then come forth Harp and....” his voice lowered as he thought. “Yeah, that’s a good idea. Love!”

A female with flowing white hair and human sized harp came to existence with a flourish, smiling brightly at her master. She rushed to him, falling before his feet. “Raise Harp and show these vile creatures what happiness and goodness truly is.” The female smiled brightly at him and ran to her instrument, gently touching it as if it was her lover and sitting on a chair that materialised right on time.

Her fingers ran over the strings softly, touching, feeling the surface, releasing a couple of notes. And that was that. The girl’s hands went to swipe over the strings quickly, but not without gentleness. The melody that left was soft to the ear but held the strength of a warrior. It wrapped itself around the players like a mother’s loving hands, giving them hope and trust in themselves while smiting their opponents with righteous hatred of a tigress protecting its cubs. Snakes slithered back a step, their attacks faltering for a moment which the allies used to the biggest advantage they could. Monthu beheaded one, Lancelot broke all armours around him while Mio and Kalin took out a couple snakes. Viola used that time to safely change the dance into a more daring one that would double her distracting ability but might turn some enemies violent.

All that happened but the melody didn’t weaken. It only grew in timbre and ferocity. You could feel the righteous anger seeping out of it, hiding sorrow and pain of one who had seen the worst but had no strength to stop it.

“Home” Nein whispered softly. “What a fitting tune.”

“You know what it is about?” Aurora asked, quietly. She had some free time as unlike Lana she had no attacking spells and saved her mana for when anyone was injured. At the moment that was no one.

The mage nodded which was his whole answer. He turned from the female to look into nothingness. “Love take form!”

“Yes, oh master!” a teenage guy answered. He was around seventeen with dark hair and dressed in black denim with silver chains for decoration. There was a cross on most of them. “What could I do for you on this beautiful day?”

“Quit your idiocy and kill the monsters.”

“You know I hate being in groups! Call me some other time” the broody guy answered, glaring at Nein with his one eye, the other being hidden by his emo like haircut.

“Not that kind of situation.”

This prompted the guy to look around. His eyes stayed up at June for a while who was staring at him unabashedly, then went to the other scattered members of the group, some of them fighting for their lives while others watched in hopes to help, and finally landed on the thousands of monsters lined to kill them from all directions but their back. Lana’s light was dying out so the cavern was even darker than previously but it only enhanced the effect of glowing eyes instead of diminishing it. One could learn what true fear meant in this place. The enemies seemed endless.

“You sure know how to find battlegrounds. First against the mountain trolls, then that one witch, a guild war or two, then spirit realm and now this. I bow before you Master. You’re really the best” the youth laughed, his eyes still roaming over the place. “Just to say, I like this place the most.”

“Little wonder” Nein muttered with a dry smile, turning to the all the spirits standing around him. “Go and fight now. I expect nothing less than victory from you.”

The spirits bowed once again but didn’t move from their positions, even the dark youth. June’s question why was soon answered by Nein’s spell casting. All the buffs he had used on them previously now he cast on the spirits and more. A lot of them were even impossible to be cast on humans while his servants could make great use of it.

Shadow was the first to disappear from the group and reappear behind a couple of snakes. He slashed with its blades, leaving gaping wounds but before the monsters could turn around he was gone and materialising twenty feet away to deal more damage.

Next Plate and Wind joined the fan formation which allowed them to push somewhat further and give the mages more space while keeping them safe from any danger. Brute in the meantime made his way towards where Aster was going crazy and joined him in his madness. It was hard to say why the berserker didn’t kill him, but maybe crazies knew their own. Brute seemed to enjoy killing and getting bloody as much as Aster.

Sun joined Aurora and Lana, casting a couple of buffs that allowed all the players to see perfectly in the dark for a few hours, gave them the blessings of the sun which increased defence against dark type monsters and added bonus damage to them. After that she stayed still, smiling and throwing blinding spells to aid the fighters.

June’s eyes, however, saw nothing of it or of the battlefield. She hadn’t cast a spell yet and wasn’t planning, her eyes glued to the youth who was more handsome than it should be legal. The question of who he was and why he was following that strange mage never leaving the front of her mind. The guy didn’t miss it and winked her way. “Next time, baby, my Master’s quite strict on us following his orders.” Then he smiled showing his elongated fangs and turned into a bat, flying away.

The girl spluttered, stomping on the ground in disbelief at his actions. What did he think he was? She was pretty sure she was even older than him by a couple of years! Why are all handsome guys bastards she wondered sighing.

“You ever plan to help us and use some spells or are you incapable of that?” Nein asked without the slightest hint of courtesy.

June glared at him but his jab was right on point. The fight had started some ten minutes ago and she was yet to cast a spell. Pointedly she turned from him, to secretly hide her blush, and thought for a moment as to what spell was needed. The front was strong so the best thing would be a long ranged attack to the back of monsters. Her mind ran past her list of available spells and one caught her attention. Earth Shake. June’s eyes went to the giant doors blocking their way out and welcoming even more enemies in. It was decided. Having earth magic at your command in a cave was the best thing ever.

While all this was happening, Par watched it unfold from the sidelines and kept to himself. He knew his brother was busy and shouldn’t be interrupted but that didn’t make him feel any less lonely. Everyone around had all those amazing spells and beautiful fighting techniques while all he had was a couple of fireballs and a simple elemental which he didn’t want to call out. He was sure it would feel defensive and sad just like the snake would.

This important information was gathered from watching Claw who was hiding in his pocket. The little bird didn’t want to take a peek outside no matter how much the kid pleaded him to. At the end Par was left to stand alone and follow Worglan’s commands if he gave any. It would have been interesting to learn new spells, if only the guy paid him the barest minimum of attention while explaining the spell and wasn’t always watching what was happening elsewhere.

Par missed Ace considerably. Why did the braid guy had to kill him? The kid couldn’t understand it.

His thought were interrupted by Worglan poking him in the ribs. “Time to fight, kid. Use your fire spells and burn those monsters. The faster we’re done, the faster we can leave this gloomy place and go meet your friend.”

Par smiled at the thought. “Should I use the fireballs?” he asked.

“Call your pets and then yes.”

The kid’s smile faltered a bit, thinking about the elemental and his fire snake, but he wanted for this fight to be over already so he called them anyway and told them to aid the group before starting to cast his explosive fire missiles. His aim had improved considerably since they days he’d met Ace first but not enough for Monthu not to have to dodge them once in a while. Not that he minded, being used to it. He would be more surprised and off -put if he didn’t have to.

Surprisingly, those random movements of his instead of being a liability were an advantage. One monster would be stunned by an unexpected fireball and Monthu’s rapid movement would confuse the rest giving him ample time to sneak in a couple of hits with the back of his weapon or cut at the heads, falling or even decapitating his opponents.

This also could be done when a bright flash came from the back blinding his opponents but not him.

It was tiring to fight defensively, waiting for such openings that came unannounced and had to be felt more than noticed if you wanted to utilise them, but it was the best he could think of.

He glanced sideways, making sure no attack could catch him off-guard to see how his team mates were doing and was quite impressed.

At his left side Lancelot was clearing enemies with swift strikes while an unfamiliar person to Monthu was slicing through the creatures Viola had stunned with her dancing as if they were leafs. It looked like the guy was also dancing alongside the girl just to a different melody and his moves were of a lethal type.

To the right simple old cleaving was being done. At the far side Kalin was swinging his axe breaking armour and cutting snakes in half while right next to Monthu Mio had forged a battle friendship with a person buried under armours and holding a gigantic shield. They were using Mio’s abilities to instantly wipe out a couple of snakes and while they where on cooldown the armadillo defended him with ease.

A rumbling sound brought the scytheman’s eyes to the front. He defended against a couple of swords and a spear while trying to guess what was happened near the gates to cause such loud noises.

He didn’t have to wonder for long.

Soon ceiling started to crack and rocks, large and smaller, fell down crushing skulls of anyone who was unlucky enough to be underneath them.Good for the group everything was happening far enough that they didn’t have to worry about falling victim to stones.

“Waves of Exhaustion!”

“Sphere of Suppressed Dark Energy!”

“Slick Surface!”

“Holy Smite!”

“Light Hammer!”

“Hell’s Fire!”
