We stared at Mr. Juggernaut and he started at… me.

But as commander was going to start walking toward him, something or someone unexpected appeared.

“Don’t act like a beast and break the whole colony. We don’t want it to fall on our heads and kills us too.”

Someone with a very deep and voice calmly came out of the tunnel behind him the juggernaut and stood beside him.

I didn’t have to use appraisal or read their minds to know who he was. Seeing commander looking at the new ant in astonishment was enough to make me believe that our king had finally decided to appear in front of his audience after such a long time.

“It’s him.” Commander Grited his teeth and faintly spoke in anger. And I remembered him telling me that of them were from the same generation.

Though I say I didn’t need to appraise him, but I still did it anyways. Just to see where he stood against the commander and the results were actually in our favor by a landslide.

They were the best of their generation, so there must have been quite some fierce completion between them.

And king waived toward commander standing tall, with his head held high as if he was looking down on everyone.

But commander wasn’t in the mood to have a healthy conversation with him.

“Why are you still alive?”

King smiled seeing his one of his past companions asking him why he was alive.

“Yeah, you probably wanted me dead anyways. But it’s not like you don’t understand! Understand. Who would give their life for a night stand? Becoming the commander was better, way better. But tell me…”

And Kings Expression’s changed. Rage, unprecedented rage appeared on his face and he shouted, “Why the fuck did you have to name me!? I understand that you didn’t want to become her partner, but the fuck did you name me to the queen. On whose fucking authority, did you name me to get hanged.”

Even commander got stunned by his sudden change in moment, but he played it cool, “What kind of an allegation is that? What are you trying to say here? Why do you blame me for those things? I had nothing to do with that. Instead of naming, I felt astonished that you had decided to give up your life for such a cause.”

King heard him, but with a grin on his face.

“Hah, stop acting like a fool. Just remember it was you who tried to take my life first, now it’s my turn. You are going to fight me one on one; because if you don’t, then I’ll kill the queen.”

“Mother fucker!”

Commander cursed and the king laughed in return.

“Haha… Let’s do this.”

And I on the other hand, seeing that the things weren’t going to wait for anyone at this time decided to do something drastic.

Looking toward the king, I made up my mind and mumbled, “[Heal]”

And King started glowing in a bright golden radiance.

“Ahhhh!”

He shouted, and I jumped in happiness thinking [Heal] had done its work and the parasitic king was finally taken care of, but things didn’t happen like I thought they would.

“Hump~” he licked his lips, moved his head to look at me, furiously smiled and asked me with his eyes opened wide in excitement.

“And what do we have here.”

I couldn’t believe it.

[Heal] which was such a potent poison against the undead that it alone could burn most zombies to the ground had no effect on him.

“How…?” I asked in astonishment as the golden glow from the skill dimmed before disappearing completely.

“Ho-how did you survive that? Isn’t that worm leader also inside you?”

And for the first time the haughty expressions that the king was wearing wore of.

“So you really are the one targeting them, aren’t you?”

And a bout of overwhelming pressure, pressure heavy enough to make me feel as if a whole mountain was pressing down on my back, pressure that came from the bond that I had with the king washed over my head.

But commander appeared and stood in front of me, cutting the pressure from harming me, as the king shared his secrets with us.

“But you can’t hurt me like them. For I have already conquered him. You can say I made a pact with him. He only had an impulse to convert everyone, but when he tried to take over me… hee… you can say that he got swayed by my grand ambition of taking over the world instead.”

“Anyways, it was nice knowing you. Thanks to your… hard work, I now know that there are ways to counter the zombies very easily, but hopefully and thankfully there are not many freaks like you roaming around. Okay. Let’s do this.” He said and looked toward the fake ant standing beside him.

“Kill him while I take care of that commander.” he ordered him and flew into the air while taunting the commander.

“What? Didn’t you want to kill me? Then come here, let’s see what you alone can do? Or I’ll run away!”

“Fuck you!” commander replied and flew toward him.

And Mr. Juggernaut jumped toward me.

“Why me though?” I yelled as I ran away from the growling beast coming for me.

“Oh! I’m going to rip your fucking head apart and chew on your legs!” he said while rapidly crossing the distance between us.

I shivered in fear seeing his wicked smile. It showed me his dirty poison laced fangs and I felt disgusted.

Just some centimeters away from me he jumped. I got ready to take him head on, but then someone suddenly struck it mid air and made him descend.

I only saw a green blur pass me by and striking his head. I am not someone with many opinions, but when I looked back, someone I knew was standing behind me.

“Who are you?”

But my helper didn’t give the raging bull the answer he demanded, and instead fired another one of his poison bombs toward his face.

But unfortunately, the poison ball didn’t even get the chance to get anywhere near Mr. Juggernaut and one of his spikes destroyed it mid way, while not stopping for even a second and after getting deadlier than before (Thanks to the poison) and coming to take my head.

But rather than me it proved more difficult for my helper to dodge. While I was packed with skills like [Dodge], [Reflex], and [Auto defense]. He only had his legs.

The spike stuck the ground some distance behind him, taking hefty amount of meat out of back.

“Fuck!”

I heard and back stepped while keeping my eyes on the spider and soon I found myself standing side by side with my vice captain - Genma and healed him.

Covered in golden glow he stared at me with his eyes wide open as the wound on his back healed and the pain disappeared.

“So any way out of this mess?” I asked him, but like me he only said,

“U-Uu… No fucking clue. Anyways, how did you get involved with this fucker?”

It was the question of the century.

“Die-!”

But I had no time to give him my long story of being loved by monstrous beasts.

I used a [Heal] on Mr. juggernaut seeing his yellow skin, but that only made his singe in pain and unlike a zombie who would have started burning, he got mad instead.

“YOU MOTHER FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!”

“Looks like he is not an undead.”

“No shit, he can still think and speak!” Genma replied, while the yellow skinned not undead monster (Turd) moved toward us with a speed too fast for me to follow with my eyes.

Even clarity failed to let me see where he had disappeared too.

I hurriedly did a [Mend wave] which only provided me a view of a shadow appearing in the moving shockwave. It failed to stop him, but Genma got pushed away.

I heard coming from right across me and all the hairs on my body stood up straight.

“DIE!”

He shouted once again and his ultra sharp hairs flew through the air like spears thrown by a natural barbarian.

“Fuck this shit!” I yelled and started slamming my legs on the ground with enough strength to break the ground beneath my foot.

*Rumble*Rumble*Rumble*

The ground quaked, the air trembled, the hairs coming toward me started vibrating as Genma cried out, “Wha-What th-the h-h-h-h-hell is happening!”

“SHIT!”

[Rhythmic quake] activated and everyone around me got swept away in its effect. Even Mr. Juggernaut on whom even [Mend wave] had no effect paused in the middle of his motion, with his fangs led than a centimeter away from my head, before getting knocked back a few centimeters from the shock waves. Even the spear like hairs weren’t spared and got swept away by the aftermath.

Thankfully Genma was out of the effective range. Otherwise he would have simply died and from the shockwaves.

But being out of range, Genma ran to me and stopped by my side.

Seeing the spider already coming out of his shocked state, I quickly asked Genma about the kind of attacks that he had.

“I have the poison ball, poison enhancement, poison gas, Acid spray, poison sting and poisonous acid bite.” He replied and I looked at him with scratching my head.

But the spider at that time came out of his stupor.

“U-Um-Umm… Ugh! Use poisonous gas.”

”Are you sure? It can kill novice ants in a second you know.”

I had no time to tell him that I was immune to common poisons already.

“Hurry up!” I yelled.

“Alright.”

And a green cloud of gas came out from all of his pores and soon encircled us from all sides.

But this time the spider got out of his bounds and slammed hard on the ground.

“You mother fuckers. Survive this.”

The spikes on his back started opening, opening, opening, until they bloomed like a flower and something shined inside them.

“Whoa!” Genma exclaimed, while I shuddered with dread seeing hundreds of small black spiders coming out of his blossomed spikes.

I thought there would be miasma, but turns out the miasma had evolved according to Mr. Juggernauts needs and had given him minions of his own.

The little spiders didn’t fear the poison and started rushing toward us like kamikaze minions and struck the bodies between us.

*Boom*Boom*Boom*

Explosions happened the moment they struck something and destroyed everything in their paths. They didn’t stop at that and continued running toward us looking no less domineering than those zombies.

I would have thanked god if there were only one or two of those little buggers, but unfortunately it looked like the spider had an endless supply of them, because by the time the first one reached us, a thousand another had already appeared behind him.

I had the urge to run away, but seeing our allies fighting a rock hard battle against them zombies behind us, I knew we had no other way,

“Looks like we will have to tough it out this time.”

The spiders followed behind him and the gas did nothing to save us.

“Hey, do something. Create a miracle.” Genma urged me shaking my head and I let used [Acid mist].

I let it flow on its own to the front and rampage.

Hoping that something would happen, I gritted my jaws and looked at the wave of poison and acid mix together while the spiders rushed toward us.

And like I thought, the acid and the poison mixed together well and created a giant yellow ball of mist all around us, which started burning everything.

“Kerree!”

The spiders burned and exploded. The corpses burned and burned charred. Even Mr. Juggernaut started screaming in pain from the new poisonous acid.

Thinking that we had won the battle I turned my head around to look at my vice captain who was also looking at me, and I felt a sudden gust of wind at my antennas.

The next moment a ludicrously strong gust of wind pushed me backwards and I saw with my eyes open wide as a shockwave appeared where Genma was standing and his body disappeared.

*Badump!*

My heart raced and as I turned my eyes to the left, with the feeling of death looming over my head, I saw his body stuck in the air at least thirty centimeters away from the place we were standing.

I noticed that everyone around me had stopped, and I finally saw Mr. Juggernaut with my own eyes moving toward me at normal speed.

He walked toward me in no hurry and tried to punch my face, but I dodged him, and moved backwards.

His expressions warped in astonishment.

“You- how did you become so fast.”

And it turns out my [Auto defense] had activated my most over powered skills to save my ass.

It was the time for [Overdrive.] and [Overload.]

I knew what that meant. I at most had a minute of time to defeat and possibly kill him before my body would give in.

Replying, “You don’t need to know.” to him. I changed my antennas to sharp spikes, and charged toward.
